Backpacking the Three Sisters Wilderness - Oregon - Broken Top Loop

If you're into ancient volcanoes, volcanic landscapes, mountain top views as far as the eye can see; then the Three Sisters Wilderness is hard to beat. Oregon's second largest wilderness is debatably it's most unique. While the Broken Top Loop is the lesser of the two hiking loops in this vicinity, it does not disappoint. If a common weekend is all you can spare to make it out into the backcountry, then this route is a fantastic choice and only mild in difficulty. The more common approach to this journey is clockwise, but we chose to go counter-clockwise, and for several reasons - I believe this direction is superior. Enjoy.

Yeah, me too. I actually was but I fumbled around too much and the footage got all jumpy. If you're a big animal buff, my Olympic National Park video is for you. My Glacier trip has some big creatures too. Lots of animal in all my videos now that I think about it lol
