The announcer called it "The Most Exciting 25 seconds in College Football because it is, amd it tales about 25 seconds to get the team down The Hill. The color is Burnt Orange, not red. Red is the color of that hated chicken school 110 miles down the road in the same state, and the Dawg school just 80 miles down the road in another state. Some conferences have their championship game on neutral fields. 12 teams get to go to the playoffs as of this year. There are 130+ D1 FBS teams. It used to be that 4 teams went, now it's 12. Typically 2 losses in a season makes it nearly impossible to get to the National Championship. The teams are so large because you have nearly unlimited substitution, and injuries are fairly frequent. All these games are regular home games.
