No racing politics, no team orders, no nonsense talk over the radio telling the driver what to do, no pit strategies, no FIA overcontrolling penalties...this is pure racing that everyone enjoys to watch.
I was prepared to be disappointed, but that was actually pretty damn cool! The driver steering the lead Ferrari was visibly smoother than the rest of the field, but they were all 100 times better than I would have been :)
That final battle between the Ferrari and the McLaren was more epic han Villeneuve vs Arnoux in '79. They even came back from death three times, while Lauda only did it once :)
I've done many types of R/C car racing over the last 30 years and this class was by far the most fun. The motors required for this class are considered very weak in comparison to what you normally see in a lot of the other R/C car racing videos you might have seen. This meant that batteries (expensive for matched set) and battery tech were not as important as just a good setup and good heads up driving.

haha good pun. In truth, these guys have better reaction time and micro steering than Senna! If you were to scale up the speed to the size, it would be a lot faster than the current F1 cars! In that regard, these competitors deserve as much praise and recognition as the young kids making a living off Esports and video games.
@@ParRagon- certainly they don't get as much "recognition" in the motorsport world as the "esport" kids but these "competitors" probably have higher technical acumen and reaction/micro steering. In a way the level of attention to minutia is very similar to the highest level of esports. It takes the same kind of maniac!

What i mean by that, this is a sport for Sure, i can only imagine people denying that fact who dont really give a s*** about the rc scene. eSport is on PCs, playstation xbox and whatsoever. Has nothing to Do with that Sport here except maybe knowledge and reaction to something specific(in this case steering and throttleing, you get the point)

Why don't the put a small camera in the driver's seat and drive the cars in first person on an iPad. It would be more realistic for the driver's and you can watch replay's of passing and crashes.

I also thought it was a good category speed for the normal people in the audience it was very watchable not like the faster events where it becomes bad for the eyes but just as much skill.What a great race love your work cheers
you know what.....?those toys are much faster than the real formula cars....and this is the very very safest racing competition....hope there is also a gt3,offroad..etc..
Forgive me if I say something that already exists but I would think this would be WAYYYYY MUCH BETTER if each driver had a VR headset on,wide view, linked to a camera on the car,and have cockpits they sit in,like a real race car,with steering wheels, brake ,excellerator pedal and maybe a clutch. Maybe some vibration under the seats and real engine sounds coming through their ear pieces? Now that would be dah shit !😎☝️👍🏼
quite a stinger finish can't say cutting through the dots is sportsman like but it ended up being a tactic when it's a RC car anything goes I remember digging into another guy on the final lap of a parking lot race on a straightaway and ended up tumbling down the track till my battery disconnected. I felt shame for trying to take another driver out and I lost the race. I was probably 11

Its actually not that bad once you've run them for a while, the course memorization is really tough.
whats tough is then doing that at your best, while trying to find way past someone equal or greater than your pace whos in your way.

以前、タミヤサーキットであった４WDオフレースに参加した時、見に来ていたギャラリーが大勢いてその中にいた親子連れの小学生のガキが操縦台から降りてきた私にやらせろやらせろと言ってきた。最初は無視してたがピットにまで付いてきてあまりにしつこいのでいい加減にしろと怒った事がある！ホビーとはいえ競技でやってるのにギャラリーで来ていて平気で触らせろいうガキを野放しにしている無神経な親に腹が立った！

Is this a stock class? They are really slow in comparison to many other road rc cars.
you can hear the sound from the motors and it sounds like a brushed motor which is normally used in stock races, brushless is normally the "mod" class

I think the speed is great. Fast enough to be challenging for the drivers, but not so fast that they look supersonic and like slot cars.
