Mosquitoes are definitely worse. If you’re blessed enough to be in a space with a working A/C you’re good. Humidity messes with you if you’re outside. You have to deal with mosquito bites indoors and outdoors. You’re itchy, scratching, bleeding, mad, because you’re doing your best to not scratch but you still scratch. You only 2 have hands but you have multiple bites in different places.
Ain't no mosquito support. ONLY females bite. So really, she's a single mom that works too hard that loves her kids and never stops. With a gentle wing (hand) and the heart of a fighter. She's a survivor. IYKYK 😂🤣😂🤣
This triggered a memory. High school summer band camp, late July in South Louisiana. We step on the field after dark and they rose up out the grass like, "My name is Legion: for we are many." All the mosquito spray in the world couldn't save us.

I have been bitten on almost every inch of my body by the Arkansas mosquitoes, save my lips and my tongue. They violated the darkest crevices on my poor child body. All of them hurt. They bit me so much that I became allergic to their numbing agent. Which resulted in welts and sores that oozed. It took weeks to recover. And we went back every year to see my mom's family. 😢

Years ago I worked at a prison in the south. The mosquitoes would bite you through your uniform. We called them "skeeter hawks". Even polyester was no match for southern mosquitoes.

California mosquitoes are underrated. They leave massive lumps. Was bit on the nose once and i felt like was I horrifically deformed for a week.
