    This is a great review. Very practical. Thanks! I'll buy the DJI instead of another GoPro.

    Funny, I seem to run out of tap water quite frequently as well! Must be something to do with the water supply in tyrol 😀 . Looking forward to the next japow update!

      My water comes from the mountains behind me but I must have used it all to fill up the hot tub 😉

    2:37 did you put nd filter on for low shutterspeed for skiing? It messes up stabilisation without using gimbal, atleast for me. Or are you recording on auto settings without nd?

    • @MOTOJendays
      @MOTOJendays 11 місяців тому +1

      Digital image stabilization doesn't work with low frame rates which gives you weird motion blur. For my motovlogs I use 8ND and shoot at 1/240 at 60fps to reduce the effect the weird motion blur caused by the stab.

    • @TheSlipperySlope
      @TheSlipperySlope  11 місяців тому

      I think I had an ND and was on auto as well.
      Didn’t know about the ND stabilization issue but it kinda makes sense as an image with motion blur would be harder to stabilize.

      @@MOTOJendays actually low frame rates is not issue, low shutter speed is. Actions cams have no optical stabilisation, only digital. Therefor it needs clear frames to stabilize the image. DJI has suggested to set your camera to minimum 200 shutter speed when using rocksteady stabilisation.

      @@lauriL90 You are correct, I kinda just got them mixed up.

      I find that the gopros do fine at 1/120th but any slower shutter and the stabilization blurs are very noticeable

    Long shot probably, but you wouldnt concider doing a video on your colorgrading right?
    Your stuff looks amazing!

      Yeah, not a bad idea. However, I’m never fully happy with my grading and keep changing it over time 😅

    Did you use the Mountainbike kit or the skiing kit cause don’t like holding the stick when I ski

    wow the audio quality is so good on DJI Action 4 even without the MIc2? Are you using the DJI MIc2, i've heard that Action 4 supports blue connection with Mic2 right now, no?

    • @TheSlipperySlope
      @TheSlipperySlope  11 місяців тому +2

      Yeah. I bought an Osmo Pocket 3 which came with a single Mic 2. You can connect two Mic 2‘s via Bluetooth to the Pocket 3 and one (unfortunately not two) to the Action 4.

    • @AZ_
      @AZ_ 11 місяців тому

      Would the connection of DJI mic 2 to action 4 via bluetooth ever be 2 mics via software update or you’d think only 1 will remain not being a possibility. Currently on the market, you can buy the dji mic 2 as a pair with a charging case as well as a single unit for cheaper but also without the case. Im still thinking about it but didn’t know only 1 can connect to the action 4 camera until i saw your video.
      TY!

      @@AZ_ not 100% sure but probably just one. I feel like it might be hardware related and not just a firmware thing.

    I shoot motorcycle footage, the issue I have is when I apply an ND filter and shoot in 24 FPS I experience a lot of micro jitters with EIS enabled cause of the low frame rate. Should I shoot in 4k60/4k120 and drop it in a 24fps timeline then add motion blur later?

    Love your channel.. but you could have at least hinted at the "sus" background of DJI and why American lawmakers are restricting the company's products (so far primarily drones)...
