- Hey guys!
I'm finally done with my 2D DA2: Banter Animation project Whooouuu!!
It's been a long time since I did a 2D animation and I never did a project this big so its a pretty big accomplishment for me... I spent a lot of time on it and had a lot of problems but I would say it was worth it because I learned a lot during it.😄

12 years and I still don't understand how Carver is able to make his mabari tattoo bark. Someone please explain! XD
I'm imagining its similar to the "person on the trampoline" tattoo on the palm of your hand. Where by folding your hand a certain way, it looks like the person is jumping.....
Mind you, I have zero idea in what location his tattoo is so the imagery needed still alludes me😂😂

I always assumed he managed to do it by flexing his biceps, or something to that effect
Yep, by moving the skin around. My friend has a shark tattoo on his side and makes it talk by bending lol
My pulling the skin or moving his arm a certain way to make it look like its mouth is moving while Carver also says "Woof Woof!"
Poor Carver was just trying to make friends by forming common ground! How was he supposes to know Fenris' tattoos were torture?
I mean, Fenris literally says that all the time, Carver is just a little himbo lmao
@@Abitscrewycreations This was in the first act, it is reasonable that Carver wouldn't have know because Fenris had just entered the party. Do you really think he would of brought it up if he knew it was forced on Fenris?
Besides, do you really think woman wouldn't want to talk about eachother's tattoos? Man, I've seen woman with them all over their body! Even more than I've seen men with the same. You are just sexist.

As someone with tattoos, I talk about them all the time with my friends so yeah, makes sense. I just think it's fun to poke fun at characters
Carver is such a good character, he's annoying as hell sometimes but that's what makes him such a good depiction of a younger brother with an inferiority complex

You should do a dragon age web series where all of the companion banters from all 3 games are animated because the animation is so good. Same could be said for all of the skits of both Tales of Berseria and Tales of Arise, the Banter in Baldur’s Gate 3, the support conversations in Fire Emblem Three Houses, the stories Kratos tells in God of War 4 and Ragnarok and any other companion banter in RPGs.
I love it! And that sigh from Hawk at the end ties it all together! XD

Your statement of there being no trace of old Anders is false. There are rare moments in banter where his humorous, quippy side still breaks through. Like one with Aveline where she even comments he's in an unusual good mood.

He mentions Ser Pounce-A-Lot ONCE! in the whole entire game.
He's jaded AF!
There are plenty of traces of original Anders, especially in the beginning of the game. The further the game goes, the less he feels like his old self because he is literally falling deeper and deeper into depression and torment because of what is happening in the city. Plus, Justice keeps tormenting him, which is stated in his codex page and Varric also references it in his banter by the end of the game. In the begging they exhange jokes and laugh, but the more troubled Anders gets, the less he is inclined to joke around.
It's literally character progression. You can't expect him - in his condition and mental state - to remain a lighthearted jokester like in Awakening.
His DA2 writing is great and realistic.

Lorefail, party dialogue in DA:O indicates people in Ferelden have no idea what Zevran's "tattoos" are and the concept is foreign to them. Smh, can't believe Bioware forgot such a crucial piece of info.
