Never in my 32 years of being on this Earth have I heard a masterpiece like The Death of Piece of Mind. Keep making metal videos. You’re doing awesome!
Fun fact; they filmed Dethrone at their house (or appartment, can't remember). They brought sand/mudd in the living room, they did all the production themselves and said it was a mess to clean after.
I still find it insane that when I discovered this band The Worst In Me was their most popular song and I didn’t think they’d get much bigger than that. I was insanely wrong.
Man I just have to comment that your videos have opened my eyes to some bands I've never listened to, and I've been a huge fan of these genres for decades! I love your channel! I've been listening to Bad Omens nonstop for two weeks now 😂 thanks brother.
Bad Omens are obviously really talented, they found their sound and they have a whole team behind them to support and reach their goals. I love their sound, and I do appreciate they seem authentic, and good humans. I think that's why I REALLY appreciate the band.
Since you mentioned Chester, I think a video about Linkin Park would be awesome. Although they are not on brand for your channel necessarily, they undoubtedly influenced the scene immeasruably.
The rest of the small Bad Omens logo story: it turns out The Amity Affliction and Senses Fail didn't inform Bad Omens nor their label or tour managers about the tour. That's pretty shit knowing that when it comes to tours, all the bands, labels and tour managers have to come to an agreement. That was not the case for that tour. That's the real reason Bad Omens dropped out. Otherwise, nothing but love for Bad Omens! Love them!
Amazing videos as always! Thanks for the great video. Your videos are quite informative and make me appreciate all the music more. Love from South Africa 🇿🇦
Enjoyed your appreciation of my fav band...for so many reasons...but truly like for you, their music and lyrics give me strength and courage, self empowerment... they are magic and I love their diversity and brave creativity...I am a forever fan...thank you for your great content here
More like went from being known as the "bmth copy cats" to other bands copying them lmao I'm a day 1 fan and I remember loving then right away when they started and hearing all these ppl comparing them to architects and bmth. Honestly since the first record they really came into their own sound and have blown the fuck up. Always gona love these guys!
I still think that their self titled debut album is their best work. But I respect the fact that they are not afraid to explore new paths and Noah is an insane live vocalist💪
I feel metalcore in general has gone extremely mainstream in the last couple years with bands like Bad Omens. I feel like BMTH laid down the blueprint for bands to go down this pop radio friendly type of vibe but it’s worked out for a lot of bands hate it or love it.
Really enjoyed yout video ! Thank you a lot. I have a question for Bad Omens fans here: is the last albul really kind of soudtrack for a comics thet're doing ? If anyone has any info abour that i'll be happy to hear about it =)
I am happy every time I see an upload on this channel but I just want you to know that every time I see that it's NOT about The Red Shore, I scream into my pillow before watching.
I remember going to their album release show there was only like 50 people there easily. Intimate show for sure they chopped it up with everyone after really cool dudes. Last time I saw them they were opening up for Lacuna Coil and All That Remains on their second record. I knew they were going to take off afterwards and they did just that.
Gr8 video. I love it. PD. Are you into Spiritbox? I would love to see a video about them but you're not forced to make a video about them if you don't vibe with the music
Hey man great video just wanted to say I listen to some bad omens songs differently than other people by pitch shifting the songs. I pitched The Grey half step lower and it sounds IMO way more moody and epic. I also tuned artificial sewerslide half a step higher to F it makes the song sound more hype. I prefer drop f over drop e. I suggest you try it out
@@marooncrescent there are a couple way I do this. One: I use the transpose extension for youtube that allows me to change pitch on any video im watching. Its very convenient. The 2nd way is that I download the song onto a DAW and pitch shift it and save the file on my computer then I use itunes to download it onto my phone and have it there for me to listen to anytime. Hope this helps
(I think my first commend got deleted, probably can't insert a link?) I saw an interview where Noah was talking about an old demo, and said it was probably somewhere on soundcloud, so i checked and found it, it's titled 'Man vs self - exit wounds (by the dominion collective) so it's only Noah on vocals and i guess programmed instruments (but dont pint me on that)
Hell ya, Belmont frickin rules. I especially love the older stuff. Not tryin to a hipster, I just genuinely think they were a little better with the two guitarist. It all good, though. Awesome band. Much love, nice work, homie.
The song you like, Limits, was written about, or maybe inspired by would be a better way of putting it, the drama with Senses Fail. That’s why he has the lyrics about failing our senses and you tried to set me up as the villain, etc.
I actually hate their metalcore(modern metalcore is barely core at all) and radio rock stuff but love their industrial electronic album they just did. Its awesome.
Great work as always brother, love bad omens been listening to them since 2015, I always like to say they’re the American version of being me the horizon lol, a true artist evolves and stays true to themselves and the philosophy they follow for their genre. I’m not a fan of musicians who pander to their audience it makes the music seem unauthentic which is why I’m a fan of metal and deathcore and shit like that lol
Screams of a perfect circle type band. The music is excellent. But, its so well produced ABC yes it sounds very much like more poppy or maybe more refined BMTH , i listen to this every night. My theory is that it's just one person composing every song. And just using studio players. Ghost, a perfect circle, NiN, etc. No shit, Jurassic is dope. But it has a sound that doesn't resemble a cooperative effort.
Never in my 32 years of being on this Earth have I heard a masterpiece like The Death of Piece of Mind.
Keep making metal videos. You’re doing awesome!
THE MOST MAJESTIC MASTERPIECE IVE EVER HEARD IN MY 32 YEARS IN EARTH
Fun fact; they filmed Dethrone at their house (or appartment, can't remember). They brought sand/mudd in the living room, they did all the production themselves and said it was a mess to clean after.
that growl in dethrone gets me every time
for the missing demo, you can search it under their old name:
MAN VS SELF - EXIT WOUNDS
Day 2 of asking for a Make them suffer video
Plzzz
100% agree
i agree and Yan is making us suffer 😂
They were fucking crazy live, a little corny but crazy I love them
110% agree also would love to see to the grave vid
I saw Bad Omens on the 10 years in the black tour and they blew my mind, been on my radar ever since baby, keep METAL alive my dude!
That was a wild concert! To have Danny return to AA and play a few songs off each album was a great time. Every band killed it that day.
Same here, I came into the venue right as they were starting glass houses, downloaded their first album as soon as I got home
I just recently got into Bad Omens. Although I prefer heavier music their “softer” stuff is great as well. Great video, you always do a great job.
Thanks a lot!!
I love that you love their unplugged album. It is so beautiful, and I don't feel that it gets the recognition it deserves.
2022 discovered them and now Bad Omens become one of the most important things in my life 🔥
I still find it insane that when I discovered this band The Worst In Me was their most popular song and I didn’t think they’d get much bigger than that. I was insanely wrong.

Thank you all for watching !! 😊Check out my merch if you want : xtheyan.com 🤘🏻
I remember seeing them at warped tour 2017, it’s so nice to see them getting the success and recognition they deserve.

Radio rock or metalcore their songs fucking slap
I absolutely love all the videos you do!! Keep doing it!
Thank you very much!
As good as all your previous videos! I also love the background track you're looping, sounds so good to the whole discography telling!
Since you mentioned Chester, I think a video about Linkin Park would be awesome. Although they are not on brand for your channel necessarily, they undoubtedly influenced the scene immeasruably.
great video, i love how enthusiastic you are about them and how you explain it all. a pleasure to watch, truly! keep going dude 🔥

Concrete Jungle music video you’ll always be famous to me
I only just found out that Noah is only 2 months younger than me. I don't know how I feel about that.
lmao i went to high school with him and nick ruffilo they were some goofballs for sure
and im like... why im 3 years older than him 😭
I just assume most people who are prolific are older than me. Makes me feel like I still have time. For what? I don't know yet.
Death of peace of mind is their best work, the newer stuff doesn’t do it for me.
Never got into recent Bad Omens but remember that first release coming out and immediately shrugging it off as a bmth rip off lol
Day 1 of asking for a Cattle Decapitation video
its in my plans!
