Carving a new statue of St. Cecilia Part II

Today we want to give you an update on the statue of St. Cecilia we showed you in our last video. Our woodcarver is now almost finished and just working on the last details. This statue is 58“ tall and was commissioned by a client from the US.
We are ALBL Oberammergau - a Woodcarving Studio for Sacred Art. Woodcarving and hand made religious art is an old tradition here in Oberammergau and we want to share this traditional artwork and give you some insights in how this art is created.
