In the book of Revelation, Death is described as a pale rider on a pale horse, so this works. Also, I love the dark contrast in the skull! It makes the rhinestones pop more and sharpens the whole look. Well done, Lex!!
Leeeex, you are absolutely stunningggg. Death is not portrayed as someone who’s bright and entrancing enough! I mean, my reaper OC/picture in my head of the reaper is very starry. He’s kinda just a misty boyo with stars all over him and he’s really nice and adorable

A painting called Nāve by Janis Rozentals has what I think is the best portrayal of death. She is in all white, very motherly, pressing a kiss to the forehead of a baby she is claiming and bringing to the other side. It’s actually quite soothing and beautiful rather than what death is always portrayed as, which is dark and scary and evil.

I feel like out of all the Horsemen, Death is the most... Sympathetic? I don't think that is the word I want but I feel like Death is the one that understands the balance of the cosmos, the one that has their head on straight, and the one...!!! Ravenclaw. Out of all the Horsemen, I feel like Death is the one you put into Racenclaw because of how calculated he is with his job.
If I saw this Death, I would go with him and I don't think I would be as scared
If you want a really good and likeable portrayal of Death, Discworld is definitely worth it :D

This has beauty to it. I wish Marvel could pay you for this look. Thanos is in love with lady Death but it’s ridiculous cause they just draw her as a skeleton. This design would make that attraction feel more credible.
Isn't Deadpool also in love with Lady Death? I seem to remember something in one of the comics about them dating.

I think the grey tones add to the death theme in a poetic sense. Death is not bad, nor is it good. It is the ultimate neutral end to all of the universe, and grey is the perfect color to bring that idea home. I love it!

This look is so freaking cool!!! And I think the pearls and rhinestones do work, but just not with direct lighting. As in the shots you did for the finished look, with I think one light on your left side, it looks amazing and you can see the stones and pearls more defined!!

I love the look. I do! I love the different tones of white that are used, and that it's not simply whiteonwhiteonwhite. Gives me the Bride of Life feel. Because that's ultimately what death is, correct? The spouse to life.

I totally feel that, I am no where near advanced as you are, but I just finished painting a headpiece I am making and I know I am putting all this into 1 look I'll never ever use it again, but it's all about that photo lol.
