I KNEW IT, im not the only one who does a goth dance when i get ready for the day. you look great with and without foundations on, i wish it was the same for me, like once i take off my make i look like the crypt keeper AHHHHHHH. lol.
tbh I can relate to the crypt keeper look! hahaha
@@MadiDanger IKr, i even run away from myself
Love the pfp!
@@ginger6588 thx your bat looks awesome
@@lukamontoya3717 thanks!
Remember Baby Bats:
You don’t have to dress goth to be goth! It’s a music based subculture, as long as you enjoy the music, congrats! 🖤
This type of tutorial has been overdone to death on YT but it's 1000 times more refreshing when it's goth
I adore your voice, it’s very comforting 😊great tutorial!🦇
Yes I love her voice too
I am just starting to get into the gothic subculture even more as of now, this video really helped me out a lot to understand on how to do the look! Thank you so much for making this!!🖤🦇
I’m so happy to hear it! 🖤
It's incredible that you are naturally blonde! I've never seen someone suit black hair so well who wasn't born with it! Love your look!
I haven't been doing much makup or dressing up lately but I've been really wanting to get back into it so this is some good motivation.
Ps thanks for listing the music I don't recognize any of the artists but they all sound like the kind of goth I listen to so I'm excited to find more
The eye shadows you used just gave me an idea for an additional Christmas gift for my wife. She already has a ton of makeup but I guess you can never have too much right? Great tracks in the video! 🖤💀🐈⬛🦇
Yes definitely! Great ideas 🖤
Pretty cool tutorial. My routine has decreased significantly since the 1990s, though I am moisturizing more now. I started losing my hair around 2002 and started doing a close buzz by 2009. I don’t do makeup anymore either, still do the basic black look for the cooler months. In summer, because of my complexion, bright colors come out. Black clothing with a tan isn’t enough contrast.😁
I want to try that hairstyle but I’m curly hair but I love how looks your hair
Whenever I have time I try to straighten it. I've also teased it many times with my natural curly hair and I find the results promising. Although I haven't done a bats nest with my natural hair in a while so I may be remembering things wrong😅
Sensational video, Siouxsie is so proud of your hair do. I adore that you use easy to find and afford products, I need that face powder 🖤🧛🏻♀️🖤
I learned about the importance of eyeshadow primer because of you. Thank you
It’s a game changer!
@@MadiDanger it definitely made a difference because my eyeshadow used to run and irritate my eyes.
Madi!! I absolutely love how you do the hair. It’s an art form!
So pretty! Thanks for sharing! I’ve been inspired to do more GRWM on my own channel… I’d love to do a more traditional grungy goth look! 🖤🥀🖤
Thank you! You should! 🖤
@@MadiDanger 🖤
Love this! This is fantastic, thank you!
This was so fun and helpful to watch! 🖤 I’m trying to add some elements of trad goth to my usual romantic goth look, and your look is a great way to combine the two. And I love the music! I have new music to look up now. 😊
Thank you!!! I’m glad it helped it!
Love those eye shadows. All I do is put eyeliner and black eye shadow. So it’s always cool to see other routine.
I never really did hard goth makeups but i,ve just gotta try this :)
You’re so pretty omg
Thank you!
Thanks for always making me feel okay to be me ❤
I love your make up!! I'm just learning how to do different types and styles of make up, and your videos help so much!! Thank you
yesss i love wet n wild eyeliner, if i make a small mistake i can just wipe it away with a wet q tip
Great songs! I absolutely love The Wake. I'll tell you what I do to get straight lines. I draw it however it wants to come out, then I use a Q-tip to whipe it straight with makeup remover. It works every time. We'll see you in the next one. 😉 🦇🦇
If you have dry skin the best product I have found is hyaluronic acid from the brand called The Ordinary from Sephora . I got mine for about $7 I out it on under my moisturizer
I adore your style! Thanks for sharing your secrets, beauty
Thank you! 🖤
Really good tutorial,
Seems I gonna buy some more makeup tomorrow ^^
Fun to see how others do their look. My profile photo is the tame look that I do for work. Front desk in an upscale hotel forces one to be conservative. Also my other job of meet clients and styling a capsule wardrobe for them. Maybe some day I will get a Goth as a client. My foundation & powder are 2-3 shades lighter.
At home or off work or church I look like a corpse.
Reminds me of of how long I had to wait for my gf to get ready back in 87😂😂😂😂😂
You have a great look. I've just subscribed & already got some great tips 🤘🏼🖤❤🖤
Thank you! I’m happy to help!
I'm happy about all the accessories!! I too love to layer 1 after another. Great video Madi
Accessories are definitely what make most of my outfits, thank you! 🖤
The corset looked so good on you!!!
Your voice is lovely! Im so happy that you also have a yt-channel!
🖤🖤🖤
Fabulous 💜
Thank you! 🖤
I'm a baby bat, and I have oily skin on my face but I also just sweat ALOT. And I've come to the realization, my glasses are basically just where I can guarantee my foundation will transfer to my glasses. Also foundation somehow just makes my face look more wrinkly and stuff I'm like not good at makeup ... but I will keep trying
Maybe try a different setting method (if you use setting powder try setting spray, and if you use setting spray try powder) and maybe try powder foundation (not setting powder, powder foundation. It also might be a primer issue
@@SaucyRatvioli thank you, I've been trying setting powder before foundation and after. I'm also going to be getting setting spray to try that
what are you supposed to use if you don't want different kinds of running makeup mixing on your face? i sweat a lot and am super oily and pale so i'm afraid to use primer/setting stuff whether it's spray or cream, no matter what it is 🥺 i want to use it for halloween but i don't want it to bleed when i sweat so i kind of don't bother
like for instance i have LA girl setting spray for before and after but it has alcohol in it which i didn't realize and i'm afraid of that mixing with the mehron paint i have. for that reason i haven't used that or the primer
I had the same problem not to long ago and I found that it turns out my skin is actually quite dry, but it was overproducing oil since I wasn’t moisturizing much. Now I use the ordinary hylauronic acid, nuetrogena water gel, and a tiny bit of aveeno eczema lotion everytime i shower or wash my face and always before makeup and it helps so much. I also use the NYX matte OR dewy setting spray depending on how hydrated my skin feels that day. Also setting parts of your face with a very fine loose powder helps a lot. I use the clear setting powder from miss a, but any clear loose powder should work. I would suggest trying some mousturizers for a week or so and see it that helps. (I would definitely recommend going for a water based one in case your skin isn’t over compensating, that way you don’t get any breakouts or anything.)
This is what worked for me and hopefully it helps you, but if not, don’t give up, there’s options for everyone sometimes it just takes some extra digging :)
Great video love the choice of music through out as well.
Thank you!
It's taken me forver to remember to go on UA-cam and look at your tutorials but ahhh! I have the same makeup brushes and similar eyeliners too and it's given me so many ideas about how to go about a full Goth look when im brave enough. Thank you so much Madi🦇🦇💛💛🦇🦇
I 🖤 ur look and tips on hair and makeup as well
The finished look is so gorgeous . 😍
But 6:30 is how i finish mine like a dolly. Cause dark lipstick makes me look so much older 😅
I have short hair that at its longest (the ends and back I believe) goes down to the middle of my neck. I was wondering if you knew a way to do the big hair with that? I’m really new to the gothic subculture so any tips in general would also help!
"Now that i know where my eyebrows are going to be..." ❣️
The finished look is fantastic. I should take notes because it's been a while since I bought makeup
Thank you! 🖤
@@MadiDanger a pleasure, as always 🖤💜🖤
I thought the beginning bed head was the finished look and I was here for it 😅
Lovely. I love your necklaces, your makeup rocks and that five dollar skirt was money well spent. Stay cool!
You look amazing! I’ve wanted to try goth makeup but am too nervous to. Does the white foundation feel good on your face when applied? It seems to and for me the whiter the better.
You're very talented Madi, I love your beautiful makeup and hairstyle, a hug 🖤🖤
Thank you!
Awesome video! I'm a big fan of how dramatic your contouring is 😁 Would you ever consider doing an eyeliner tutorial? I have hooded eyes too and although I think I'm pretty good at makeup, the one thing I could never figure out has been eyeliner - and basically all the tutorials for eyeliner on hooded eyes are just for dainty little "normie makeup" wings so they're not very helpful for my spooky self 😅
I’m not very happy with the blurriness in this video so I’ll see about doing another one of these in the future and try another look with more eyeliner!
I have a hooded eye eyeliner tutorial on my channel if you are interested in having a look sometime?
I giggled at “normie makeup.” 😂 Their wings are never dramatic enough for me.
Love watching it come together thanks for sharing 💀🖤
Ooooo such a pretty tutorial!! I love this :p
Thank you! 🖤
i just came across your diy jackets video and they were all incredible!! do you ever plan to make a video about your closet (in general), maybe like a tour or decluttering? not to show off ofc, it's just that those kinds of videos do inspire many people ^^
Not really sure, maybe if I run out of ideas one day. Tbh half of my closet is just band shirts so idk how interesting that would be to people.
Thank you for your get ready video. Love this video. My favorite so far
Thank you! I plan on doing another one eventually! Hopefully without the blurriness hahaha
@@MadiDanger the blurriness didnt bother me. But looking forward to the other one
It's because of all the makeup that I ended up becoming a skinhead.😂
Love it! That foundation looks really nice!
@@Kc_Baptista thank you!
Whaaat?! I need a corset!!!! Where do your recommend?
Madi do you wet your beauty blender while applying the white foundation?
Ahh I’ve had no luck my white base always looks patchy & bad :/
@@Fascinatingstreet not normally. I tried doing that and didn’t really feel like it did much. I think adding the white face powder over my foundation evens it out a bit more when it does look a little patchy
@@MadiDanger ahh thank you queen for responding!! 🖤🦇🖤 I will keep practicing & hopefully it will look better
@@Fascinatingstreet you’ve got this!
very nice! -davey 🦇
I like your style so pretty. ♠️♠️♠️
thanks for adding how to comb hair to the tutorial as well👍
also damn.. I've been looking for a big balloon sleeve shirt like yours forever ,really poofy ones ain't easy to find
It’s definitely one of my favorite tops!
You look great,i really love the shadow colors!!❤👍
Thank you! It’s kind of my go to!
Is there any other white powder you recommend? I bought the manic panic one you suggested and love it but I’m running out and the site says they’re sold out :(
Try cornstarch
hi ! I love the make up and the hair style ! very nice video ;)
Thank you!
Can you be goth and dont like make up? I realised that i hate the feeling of make up on my Face, yet it seems as if make up is a Mai Part concerning the style. I Listen to the Music, i dress goth, only thing i dont Do is make up. Could i still consider myself a goth?
Of course!
yea ofc! im pretty sure all that matters is that u listen to the music!
Absolutely! Welcome to the club my dear 🖤💀🖤
Goth is a music-based subculture! The look is just for fun~ You don’t have to look goth to be goth! ☺️
Of course you can! Being goth is so personal, and not all of us are alike!
How long does it take for you to get ready and do you sometimes feel to lazy for it?
I love your makeup sm
Thank you! 🖤
Liked! Great music in the background. 👍
You are just too cute for words!! 💜💜
With that awesome makeup, you definitely reminded me of Lydia Deetz from Beetlejuice.
All wonderful pointers. Great video.
Thank you! 🖤
Love the music.
Great video! Makeup I'm still getting the hang of, and teasing my hair is still a difficult task for me lol (I have naturally thick hair, so getting it to defy gravity is hard XP).
My hair isn’t thick and it still took me a good while to get the hang of it! Hairspraying it as you go could also be helpful!
Cheesy goth dance straight out of Friday The 13th Part V 🤣
This video is very soothing! 🌙
The makeup suggestions were super helpful! 🥹 Thank you, Madi!
Your voice is so soothing 🥰
Very pleasant tutorial! 🤘🏻
Thank you!
Hey! Awesome video, i was wondering how long it took you to do your hair and makeup? Also if you know of any goth/punk hairstyles that work well on properly short hair - i shave mine down to 5mm at the back but i want to do something adventurous 🤔
How long it takes always varies, sometimes 15 minutes, sometimes over an hour. You could try little liberty spikes depending on how short it is.
@@MadiDanger Thanks! I've thought about liberty spikes before, I'll definitely try it out when my hair has grown a little bit - I shaved the back down again last week 😅
yeeees I knew more people also enjoyed that LA girl foundation 😉
Nice tutorial!!! love you
I just pat my hair down, make sure I'm wearing trousers and off I go.
Lovely lovely outfit!! 🖤
Thank you!
Which liquid catsuit are you using??
Whatever the matte black shade is called, I don’t remember the shade name haha
Sweet video showing your look... 🖤🖤🖤🖤
Wickedly gorgeous 🖤
What brand of hair dye do you use? Despite all my efforts, my hair color seems to fade back to brown very quickly.
By the way I use permanent color.
Lately I’ve been use the Argon Oil brand in the shade blue black
Hi Maddie!! I’m here for tonight’s show with Laire!! I don’t have bangs, have very thin hair and well, I hope I can do a good job with my hair.
Omg that chapstick! Where is it from?
I got it from my local curiosity shop, but the company that makes it is Rebels Refinery! 💀
Great and very helpful tutorial, thank you.
No matter how careful I am, I always end up with huge chunks coming off when I untangle 😂 my hair likes to stay that way for ever. And my hair is very fragile loll.
Oh no! 😭
Maybe try spraying some coconut or argon oil as well as a detangler?
@@MadiDanger I've tried it 😬😂
I haven't done goth hair in a while though! The lazy styles are my go-to these days.
@@winternightmarecrochet nothing wrong with that! There’s so many great gothy hairstyles that aren’t teased and at least it’s less maintenance!
Hey there!! First of all huge fan of your work I love how you do your makeup sm!! Second of all what brand of brushes do you use?
Thank you! I don’t really have a set brand, I just kinda get whatever
Wow this must take so long to do . I take 5 mins to slap a bit of eyeliner that's it lol
You are a fierce beauty Madi!
If I back combed my hip length hair like that Id 100 percent have to cut it off lol
I hate when people look at me so I save my full goth outlet for parties only. Unfortunately society is meeeh
I guess getting views is part of being goth
Bruh if everyone dressed like goths then people would look weird at current day normal styles, its normal that people will look at you when you look super different.. who cares? It's part of what makes us human.
the point of being goth and/or alternative is to be a nonconformist, they originally dressed that way despite the "judgement" other people would give them, at some point you kinda just stop caring if you've ACTUALLY been alternative for a long time
When I first went goth aged 13 (I'm 33 now) I use to get beaten up or verbal abuse and that made me go more extream with my gothic look, and I love it- never be afraid to be yourself!
sounds like you have hangups still wanting to be part of society.
granted most 80s goths have fully sold out
You look incredible... Love it
Thank you!
How do you keep your black lipstick from smearing and coming off during the day? I have a big problem with that, and smeared black over my cheeks isn't the best look
Try applying primer and your foundation on your lips! It's works mostly
This lipstick is a liquid matte one that stays very well!
U are an Idol 🖤🦇
Love u Madi
🖤🖤🖤
Cool video and make up products
So cute and beautiful :)
Beautiful!💜💜
Hey hey I need did make up in my life do you have any advice ? I really wants to try goth /alt make up
Omggg i have to know where that corset is frommmm I’m obsessed!!!
Oh I forgot to mention it in the description, I got it from Orchard Corset!
@@MadiDanger is that a cs-201? 😲 I've always wanted to buy the pvc one in red 😅 I have a green and a red limited edition, and they are great
@@winternightmarecrochet yup it is!
