This is such a huge improvement, If it's still getting updates I can only wonder what else they can add since the 2nd half is finished.

The 2nd part is definitely my favorite to go through too. They did a really great job with it

1. It's actually Sonic 3 and Knuckles2. Polo was the real pilot of the Egg Carrier3. The Red rings actually increases your combo multiplier by x5 when you collect them

Is it possible to get the emerald on top of the one arch without movement plus?
Yeah. Usually by doing a trick jump using the terrain and boosting on a slant to knock you upwards
