Fun fact…when Jamie Lee Curtis signed on for H2O, she thought it would be the final Halloween. After filming, she found out that there was a contract clause that stated they could NEVER kill the boogie man. She was so upset, she had them kill Laurie off in this one

The Newest "Halloween" Trilogy that has Jamie Lee Curtis (it starts with the 2018 movie) is a Direct Sequel to the very First "Halloween" movie and it completely ignores everything in "Halloween II, 3, 4, 5, 6, H2O, Resurrection, and the 2 Rob Zombie movies".
How can the latest trilogy ignore rob zombies 2 films when they are in their own universe and not apart of the original franchise because they are remakes also the blumhouse ones suck and are overrated wait till he gets to ends he will hate that one to probably because of how Michael gets done.

Now we know how Kathy Bates' character of Annie Wilkes felt in the movie "Misery", when she was describing her childhood outrage at the bait-and-switch cliffhanger to the serial adventure that played every Saturday afternoon in the theater. This movie is why it took John Carpenter 16 years to make his next Halloween movie and decided that the ONLY flims that matters story wise is Halloween(1978), Halloween(2018), Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends.

You gotta watch the whole shit show though, so you realize just how bad they fucked up at multiple points along the way, and justifying the erasure of the prior turds. I look back at 2002 with fond memories but this was bittersweet. I want to hate it but it's Michael Myers and Laurie Strode. The 8 year-old me was tickled pink just because they were on screen together.

At the point of H20 it was Michael all the way through the movie. It was Michael that got his head chopped off by Laurie. Like you said, no one could've survived that van crushing them. They decided on another sequel, so they had to come up with this bullshit opening to bring Michael back.
Not quite…. They filmed the him walking off in the paramedic outfit during h20. Akkad said they couldn’t do the ending unless there was a way to bring him back.
