Yea, it is a beast of an app, so it can drag a bit in the temple experience. Phones are not quite up to speed yet. Hopefully in the coming years we can have better software and phones! Glad you enjoyed it!

Folks, let me share this too: it's also Amazing that Solomon's Temple was also constructed based on the principles of the golden geometric ratios of rectangles, and even the expansion of ancient Jerusalem's urban layout was also based on the same geometric ratio principle.
Even way longer before the Greeks, Romans, and medieval Franks/French were able to utilize the Golden geometric ratio patterns and techniques for constructing their cities and architectural layouts.

Are you planning a virtual reality (VR) release of the app? An app compatible with and harnessing the capabilities of the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, etc.

We are planning on having a VR release for the app, but sadly donations that have come in for the project were not what we were hoping, so right now that is on hold. We have not given up, but it will take time, as with the other models. We have a mockup of Solomon's (which you can see on my channel), but likewise are out a ways before that is released in app form.
I really miss being able to use this resource in the classroom. Any plans to bring it back?

Good morning, my name is Leonardo and I am Brazilian student of 3D modeling, I use Blender 2.8. Is this app of yours ready yet? How long did it take to produce this beautiful gospel work?
Yes, you can download the app. It is called the Virtual New Testament app on both iOS and Android. We sadly have not had funding to continue it beyond the city of Jerusalem, but it is still a great product! I have a friend that helps me with 3D models and he uses Blender as well for my videos. Check out the Solomon's Temple Explained and Solomon's temple 3D video on my channel. Working on some others as well, but as you know it takes a long time!

Are you going to do the open houses for the incoming Temples.
Still working through the permission process. They like the videos, and they want them to happen, but there is a lot of red tape to go through still. But I am hopeful.

Sadly, no. Far too much work went into the effort and multiple organizations created it, so many parties have an interest in it, so not something that could be made open source.

Hello! Thats really great. But the site looks like doesnt works. Where i can get the app?
Search for Virtual New Testament. It hopefully should show up. We have had some issues with keeping the app up-to-date (because we have very little funding to keep it up) but I think it was updated for iOS and Android.
downloaded it on my android. it froze immediately. after multiple attempts to make it work, it was uninstalled.
i have great network connection and the newest samsung device. anyone else have this problem?
What phone do you have? It is a huge app, so may not work the best on slower phones. If you give me the model, I can ask the tech team and see if they know what might be happening. This is still in beta, so there may be some issues.
Messages of Christ I have the Samsung Galaxy S7.
Messages of Christ the "Settings" button works and I hear the music but as soon as I click to see the city or the temple it freezes.
I know they have had some issues with phones. It takes a lot of processing, and some phones just can't cut it. They are working on a new update (hopefully in the next few weeks) that will reduce render time, making it load quicker on a phone. That might be the issue here. Do you have a tablet or PC or Mac? You may need to play with it on that first, and then when we hopefully get the new update, you could try again on the phone.
I let the tech team know about your issue with your specific phone. It is still beta, and brand new, so be patient with us. Hopefully it will be worth the wait!

The hope is to have many more locations, including Jerusalem at the time of Solomon. It is in the works, but it will be awhile before we can get it released.
The True Temple location for the Temple of God is in the city of David. 1 kings 8 The city of David is Zion and Zion is in Jerusalem. They may build the Temple whenever they wont.
The temple mount is the old roman fort.

It does not show every detail. It does show quite a bit of the temple, but not everything.

It was at the south of nowadays Temple Mount, above the Gihon spring.
Nope. There is not any evidence for it being there. I’ve researched both options and it clearly is in the location I showed

Of course that now there isn't any evidence for the Temple being there because the Romans destroyed it entirely.

Grevit, the model is not mine and we can't give it out. It cost a substantial amount to produce, and that is exactly what we are trying to do is create an app.

Are you thinking of Solomon's temple which only had two pillars?
completely wrong location of the temple, that great wall belongs to the Antonia Fortress, considering that the whole software becomes useless and misleading visual help
Not sure what you mean mate. The location of the temple is accurate and the temple mount hasn't moved. The city around it has changed over the years but this was the city layout at the time of Christ.
Tom Guthrie Temple Mount platform was home to fort Antonia not the temple! The Bible even says no rock of the temple was left only the Roman fort Antonia was left.

"Eternal" goes to the glorious city of Rome (the Eternal City); Jerusalem is undeserving of such a title; Israel is mainly known because of primitive scriptures and a wretched memeplex (Judaism). The Israelites did not contribute much to civilization.

Any VR support for this?
We do have it in VR but have not released it. Also, it’s pretty old now. We have a new version we are working on which is much more accurate. We hope to eventually release that in VR.

@@mustafaercumen3187 I'd start with books by Leen Ritmeyer. He has probably 10 books on Jerusalem or the temple. He has several on just the Temple, including the Quest, which is very detailed and give far more than most may be interested in (I loved it) and then he has the more simple such as Jerusalem - The Temple Mount. If you just want something simple I'd start there. He then has other books that talk about specific periods of history in Jerusalem, and those are helpful as well.
