Now in this life when I visited the Gate i was sad to see it. I remember its grand beauty. This does no justice. Make another slower Grander walk-thru. HAVE SOME MAJESTY.

@@cccvvv630 I was reffering mesopotamian architechture which utilized mostly either burnt or baked brick which is infamous for the rapidity with wich it decays. The poor building materials that Mesopotamians reelied on is the reason that almost nothing of their monumental architecture is preserved today. These materials can only be preserved while thet remain buried; after they are dug up by archeologist or treasure hunter they become exposed to air and moist which causes them to deteriorate at an incredible speed and ultimately become a slime. Examples of ancient architecure from other regions suh as Greece Egypt, China, or Rome are still reasonably well preserved because high quality materials were used in their construction: The Pyramids are made of stone, Roman or Greek buildings such as the Colloseum or the Parthenon were made of stone, marble, cement or even gold, etc

This is absolutely fantastic for my research. I love this. Thank you so much. Not having access to many sources, I did wonder about the location of the throne room within the palace complex, I theorised that it must have been the wide building due south of the central courtyard. This seems to have been correct, as seen by the blue facade with lions stradled beneath palm trees.

the rooftops would have been cluttered with cloth shades, straw beds and other stuff as they were basically used as bedrooms, it was far cooler up there during the night than inside the house which would have been heated up during the day. The stone would still radiate heat so it wasn't too cold.

Iraqi Arabs aren't the descendants of the Babylonians, they are the occupiers.

A vV008 You know that no one can be sure that they’re descendants of the Babylonians? Babylon fell twice and got merged with the Assyrians, many Assyrians after the Islamic conquest became Muslims, the rich who could pay taxes stayed as who they are on the other hand the ones who became Muslims had by time to Identify as Arabs, because it was crucial to learn and speak Arabic since it was then the language of science and law during the Abbasid empire.

I saw videos of rural Romania you are lucky to live there. It's all farms & horses & people seem much more free to live their daily life. :( it's becoming like N a z i Germany over here sadly. Control freaks, & our constitution is not followed. The rule of law & checks and balances to keep G o v from being corrupt are being dismantled almost on a daily basis by the reality star and his repub minions.
