How do you now that?
It's a simulation 🤔 so, redundant.
Of course it fake. Do you think he travel back in time to capture the real Babylon? 😂

ASTOUNDING video. Archaeologists seriously need to work with artists like this to bring the ancient world to life
I agree.
You want to help me with it i am Babylonian Assyrian and historian businesses men and archaeologist let's rebuilt my kingdom again i will give you what ever you need
It is possible but expensive.
Fr this is sick
Sounds interesting, but I need to rob money from hard working people first
i want an assassins creed in ancient babylon
😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 Voce pensou muito longe de tanto ser fã de assassin creed, mas a ideia não foi mau

Rabbi Jacoob Benjamin Israelberg. Oy vey! Shut it down
You read my mind, I was thinking the same exact thing bro!
@@rabbijacoobbenjaminisraelb7095 No please. Not jews...
Absolutely amazing. Thank you for all your hard work.
I remember the Ishtar Gate. I was six years old in 1958. I saw it in a dream. My parents could not believe their ears. I remember when it was built. Now in this life when I visited the Gate i was sad to see it. I remember its grand beauty. This does no justice. Make another slower Grander walk-thru. HAVE SOME MAJESTY.
Thank you so much not only for an impressive reconstruction, but also for not adding manipulating background music!
I wonder sometimes how thy can build all this and the perfect art .I think thy have much time .no TV no internet .so thy are so creative to do all this
So by your logic, we should be living in the stone age since we have everything like the internet and TV to waste our time on?
@@theemirofjaffa2266 Her logic is without degenerate tv and media we would have beautiful cities and art. All cities nowadays are artificial, depressive, grey and filthy agglomerations of humans.
On slaves backs that how.
@@hukllankanchis1575 slavery and war typically creates beautiful cities. Cases on point, babylonians, European cities. Built on slavery.
@@tam1729 exactly
This is a beautifull reconstitution... The 3D art is so terrific for historic representation of what we know today. Love that so much !
Can you imagine if humans never stopped living and building like this
We would not be able to build anything over 100 metres high and would need to rebuild our structures much more often than we do today.
@@cccvvv630 I was reffering mesopotamian architechture which utilized mostly either burnt or baked brick which is infamous for the rapidity with wich it decays. The poor building materials that Mesopotamians reelied on is the reason that almost nothing of their monumental architecture is preserved today. These materials can only be preserved while thet remain buried; after they are dug up by archeologist or treasure hunter they become exposed to air and moist which causes them to deteriorate at an incredible speed and ultimately become a slime. Examples of ancient architecure from other regions suh as Greece Egypt, China, or Rome are still reasonably well preserved because high quality materials were used in their construction: The Pyramids are made of stone, Roman or Greek buildings such as the Colloseum or the Parthenon were made of stone, marble, cement or even gold, etc
@@cccvvv630 No tanto la arquitectura cuanto la arqueología.
We wouldn't be talking right now.
Why do you think these civilisation collapsed? Because these type of buildings and civilisation didn't work
Amazing video ! Good job to all the people who worked so that we have this incredible journey back in time !
Astonishing work!
Not a lot of these 3D renditions truly capture the scale of old cities, focussing on landmarks and calling it a day, but this is something else man.

I hear Rome Total War battle music in my head viewing this and anticipating the battle.
This is just amazing. Why do we not make majestic structures like this anymore?
Capitalism
The Neo-Babylonian was a primitive market economy after Mesopotamians were fed up with the planned “palace economies” that led to the Bronze Age Collapse.
@@LucMtl1 Nothing I said was wrong
This is absolutely fantastic for my research. I love this. Thank you so much. Not having access to many sources, I did wonder about the location of the throne room within the palace complex, I theorised that it must have been the wide building due south of the central courtyard. This seems to have been correct, as seen by the blue facade with lions stradled beneath palm trees.
Thank you so much for this. The Museum has done an excellent job.
Que bela reconstituição.Fiquei admirada,lindo trabalho!
Its is amazing that people built those ancient cities using their hands and a few primitive machines. Cutting, shaping (with a mallet and a chisel) and carrying all these stones is something that even thinking about it makes me feel exhausted.
A flyover of the same area as it is today would be nice to see at the end. Thank you for bringing ancient times to life with your videos.
Love the representation of the Hanging Gardens in this
Wow, Amazing, congratulations to the creative team
out standing a trip down memory lane thank you woah!!!!!!!!
Thank u for your marvelous work. this helps me to imagine ancient babylon times. Now reading a book about Alexander The Great and now im reading the section of how he invaded babylon... Thanks alot again.

The first mighty man to walk this earth.
"Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the Lord"
Very good. The only omission was depicting one of the Rulers (and his queen), there are plenty of ancient pictures of them. Love the no sound. Any sound would only cheapen it.
So beautiful city ❤ merci du Québec 😊
Can you make a more detailed animation about the hanging gardens of Babylon, also can you tell me where do you get all your historical information from? I also wanna learn more about Babylon and Sumer as a Kurd in Iraq.
No audio. But nonetheless spectacular! I can't believe how huge it is!
all windows are on roofs, none of them in walls. It was time before glass has been invented.

This is the great Iraq, the cradle of civilizations and paving for all nations. Iraq always lives a great and free. My country deserve life. 🇮🇶♥️
Excellent video. Only thing missing was the chariot races along the tops of the walls.
Not just Babylon, I've been there. The entire area surrounding it for a wide area of square km's is full of ancient ruins, many of which are still buried or semi submerged in sand. History forgotten or ignored by supposed civilized countries.
the rooftops would have been cluttered with cloth shades, straw beds and other stuff as they were basically used as bedrooms, it was far cooler up there during the night than inside the house which would have been heated up during the day. The stone would still radiate heat so it wasn't too cold.
This is phenomenal 🔥

Iraqi Arabs aren't the descendants of the Babylonians, they are the occupiers.
A vV008 You know that no one can be sure that they’re descendants of the Babylonians? Babylon fell twice and got merged with the Assyrians, many Assyrians after the Islamic conquest became Muslims, the rich who could pay taxes stayed as who they are on the other hand the ones who became Muslims had by time to Identify as Arabs, because it was crucial to learn and speak Arabic since it was then the language of science and law during the Abbasid empire.
