- Hey everyone! This was a crazy idea I had on Twitter that went viral, so I decided to make an extended version! Loving the music in both the Mario games and Thomas & Friends, I whipped up this classic mashup. Happy listening!

Speaking of that, I had the memory of listening to the 2004 new theme done in the 80s style on Discovery Kids when I was a child, but maybe my memories weren't as exact or I didn't distinguished the differences in synths. So I'd love to hear the 2004 theme done in the 80s sound style.
What's especially funny about this is how both Thomas and Mario started gaining traction in the mid 80's

This is an absolutely beautiful piece. Video Game music can always have great stuff to offer, like the DuckTales Moon theme, but I personally believe that the Overworld theme in Super Mario Land is an absolute masterpiece. It’s only better with that good ol’ season 1 and 2 style.
