The machines are electric motor to run hydraulic pump. The excavator uses 10w hydraulic oil and runs at 350psi. The loader runs on antifreeze as a fluid and operates at 110psi.
log trucker ! The story behind the KW is it started as a spare parts build. After customizing my first two trucks and upgrading a lot of stock parts I realized I had enough to build another truck. Then my friend on the west coast started building aluminum dump boxes so that's when I decided to build a dump truck. Bought parts from all over, wheels from PA , sound from China , gear reduction from Arizona , light control from chech republic , dump box from British Columbia. One of a kind mutt I guess. Lol

I don't know where to start looking for one or where to get information about them. I would like to know if you can only buy kits or finished product? Ilike your whole layout! Thanks for responding back! I drive a 2018 Kenworth log truck and I want one for hobby when I retire in about 3 years. Thanks again.
log trucker ! Thanks. Glad you like. There are basic truck kits that can be purchased but are generic looking. To have a logging truck would be a custom build for sure. Just want to warn you, these trucks are not cheap to build. The dump truck cost me almost 2k to build and that's not my most expensive truck!
