Was waiting for someone to do this! It sounds as amazing as I was hoping it would! Honestly, they should mashup the original versions of songs with their remix officially and have that be in the game, or at least make it an unlockable version somehow (I think the only game that really has done this is Pokémon ORAS for the Groudon/Kyogre battle theme)
@@sublime_tv You're right, I think the remake is about a couple seconds longer. I forgot to mention that, but there's no stretching the audio on either song after the original's placed correctly.
Wow I wasn’t expecting them to complement each other like this
Si
Come on and SLAM and welcome to the JAM, come on and SLAM if you wanna JAM
Now I can’t unhear it why have you forsaken me
Hey, you, whatcha gonna do?
*Curtain comes down*
"You slammed first!"
It’s sounds really good not gonna lie
Oh I love how the OG sounds like some beats in the back they sound so good to getter
After listening to both separately for awhile.. this literally combines all there pros into one without any drawbacks.. it’s perfect
Best mashup I have ever heard
The punchiness from the percussions of the original really helps enhance the new version, even more so around 0:15, 0:50, 1:25, 2:00, 2:35, and 3:10.
This is what the remake should've sounded like!!!

I love when Mario songs do this. Underchomp x A Powerful Enemy Emerges, E. Gadd’s theme x Ghostly Manor, and now this.
A mashup we didn't need but the one we deserved.
Oh damn. I hope you do all the battle themes from the other chapters with the original if possible. This is awesome.
They’re gonna sound pretty bad because the key and chord progression totally changes in each version
did you play ttyd? the battle theme wasnt different in the other areas on gc
@@stanfoo1175the remake
i think i prefer this over what we got lmao
i mean it IS 1/2 of what we got, so that's gotta count for something
not really

This is what Nirvana sounds like, I have the biggest fucking smile on my face
Did I get summoned? TWICE?!
Now I know what are the differences between the classic and modern ones!
Since I was working on this too before I found this, fun fact... The song's timings are 1 to 1.
Just slide them in place and wa la!
Is it though? The remake has tiny bit more of an intro.

Lol it's voilà, not wa la. But yeah. You are correct about the timing.
@@pokepizza Oops, haha!
On the plus side... you made me learn how to type voilà on a keyboard correctly, thanks for that!
@LegendarySuperMario No problem. Happy to help.
Yeah. That's perfection right there.
The remake version took quite a bit away from the original theme. This is just a straight banger
Disagree on the remake take but this is a banger
Dang this sounds amazing
I love that someone did this! Do you think you could do a mashup for Grubba's theme, please?
The beginning alone won me over. This is a damn good mashup!
Damn. Saving this to my playlist
Come on and slam, and welcome to the jam
Try the other versions of the battle music
This is actually perfect. The rock style drums in the remake are pretty unfitting imo.
