Great review. You proved that there's always something worth bringing up to compensate for the lenght, I really appreciate that you covered everything possible.
I have the M2 Mini and I'm finding the mouse an absolute delight to use. The shape is very safe, which is a good thing for me personally and even though its ergo, its not aggressive with its curves, making it very stable and easy to control.
Awesome review, thanks! But I got confused, what do you mean by the “more on the PTFE side than the Teflon side”? Because PTFE is Teflon. Teflon is the trade name of PTFE. They are the same thing.
Yeah I didn't relize they were the same material until after I did the review haha. What I meant is that the stock skates are faster than normal stock skates. Sorry for the confusion!
Ok. I've bought M2 because of your review and answer to my question. The mouse is nice and the build quality is on par with my former Steelseries Prime. Side buttons are indeed a little bit mushy, but nothing extreme. Prime is still the most comfortable mouse I've ever used, but I'm really happy I've choose M2 over M3 mini, cause its form is similar to that of the Prime. Updated the firmware with the last version and using the mouse without its software. The glides are ok for me - using it on my desk.
I hope Keychron eventually makes a full ergo mouse like the Prime, but we'll have to wait and see what they end up making! Glad to hear you're enjoying the M2!
Hello Melon, new subscriber here, I just received my M2 that I bought after seeing your review, I can't decide between buying the obsidian or jade skates for the soft deskmat, what do you recommend? Thank you very much for your work.
Hey! Really up to personal preference, the jades are faster and smoother while the Obsidians are more controlled. If you have a slower mousepad maybe go for the jades to help off-set the control, if you want a more controlled experience get the Obsidians. Hope that helps!
Interested on your thoughts on the Lamzu Thorn? Heard pretty good things but I like doing as much research as possible to assure I'm getting bang for buck. Love your videos btw
Hey! Glad you like the video! I've been meaning to check out the thorn, as well as the Xlite v3 and the new Outset AX, I'm a little behind on my ergos as of late. I'll definitely cover them I'm just not sure when, hopefully soon 🙏
Does this mouse have V-shaped sides? Like the mouse is a little bit thinner in the bottom than it is in the top so it's easy to pick up? Like the Sora or OP1. When you make a cutaway and look from a front of the mouse, are the siedes more like this |__| or like this \__/? Please, it is a dealbreaker for me.
using eloshapes new feature "find similar" i found that the keychrone m2 is the closest to the rival 310. why the 310? cause is basically an "ergonized" za13 (high hump ergo) i always loved ergo with high hump and the rival 310 would have been the choice, sadly is outdated and discontinued. i like a high hump and a wide back for an upper palm and pinkie support (claw grip), but with a narrow front for my thumb and ring the rival 310 mini could have probably be my endgame ): do you think that the keychron m2 respects my needs? or there are better alternatives? maybe just get an x2h or a za13 and try to see if i can adapt to narrower humps?
Hey! Rival 310's shape isn't very close to the M2's. The Find Similar feature from EloShapes is really bad for ergo shapes, so the comparisons are all over the place. Based on what you're looking for the M2 might work, but the rear hump's height and curvature differ from what you'd see on the X2H or ZA13. The M2 is wider at the rear and narrower at the top so it might work for you! I know for me personally I absolutely love my M2, it's been my daily driver for work/editing since I covered it. It's also pretty cheap so I'd say just try it and see if you like it! You can always return it if the shape doesn't work for you.
@@mel0nFPS then I will try the M2 and the x2h and return the one i dont like. Thanks for the video and for the reply melon! edit: the rival 310 is a za11 but with a narrower front. the xtrfy m4 is a za13 but with a wider back and the keychron m2 is even more accurate i had lot of build quality issues with the m4, so i will probably go with the m2 or the m2 mini thanks again.

Hello, I am looking to change my Razer DeathAdder Elite, and currently hesitating between the Keychron M2, M3 & M3 Mini. Which one would you recommend that is reminiscent of the DeathAdder Elite ? Thanks a lot for the help and for the reviews !
Hey! The M2 is really different from the Deathadder Elite, totally different shapes. If you want a mouse that has a shape closest to the Elite I'd recomend getting the Deathadder V3 Wired. Hope that helps!
