I got one of those and you’re absolutely right. The best fake bottle I ever seen in my life. I got the metal base for the nozzle and and it kinda smelled different. Im happy I was able to dispute the charge. I’d say always buy from a trusted retailer, luckily I was familiar with the smell that I always had Oud wood, but imagine someone buying it for the first time and not knowing the difference in smell.

Thanks for the info. I picked up a full 50ml bottle of Tom Ford Noir yesterday from a thrift shop. The label underneath looked legit, and the juice smelled awesome. I was worried it was a fake, but i just checked now and the silver sprayer cap is shorter and the inside off the bottle is plastic, not crimped tin. So it looks like I got a great real deal at $20! P.S The juice projects really good for 3 hours and it's a skin scent for almost 12 hours.
Nailed it. I got a bottle of tobacco oud. It had the metal sprayer and the bottom label on the bottom was crooked. The smell was horrific though. Great video, thank you for sharing.
interesting video thanks, increases our knowledge. what i find interesting is how close even the smell seems to be to the real one. it's like if you get a fake 100ml for like 80 bucks that it's almost a deal where you want to smell like the real one but accept that the longevity will be terrible. i would never buy fakes purposely and recently got a fake for the first time, tobacco oud, so I'm probably going to throw it away. also it's not clear at all if fakes are complaint and safe.

If you like oriental tobacco scent as mainplayer ? I would say go with Harods BIG BOTTLE ! Oajan is different brother . Why ? Because the beatiful cinnamon and honey takes it over in this scent ! And again, can’t go wrong with any of them

Most of the private blend doesn’t last long anyway lol so I don’t see a problem. I bought a fake Oud Wood recently (unknowingly) and thought the pressurized atomizer was weird. And here I came to see because it smells EXACTLY like Oud Wood. My Soliel Blanc has a plastic piece on the atomizer and I know it’s freak because I bought it from a reputable place
in my country, there are lots of tobacco vanille selling online at 200 U.S. Dollars. it has the sharp label on bottom of the box like you mentioned. all the details is the same with the original. and there are some of another online shop (authentic) that sell 100ml for 375$. i dont think that label can proves if it's real or fake. it can't be 175$ difference since it is sold online, except it is sold offline.
Dude, I got the same oud wood, the atomizer or sprayer is amazing like Dior sprayersss. I got lucky and only paid 200 rmb which is about 32 dollars. The smell is basically the same but I get more freshness than oud, great video, honestly the fakes are so amazing now.

Hi mate, I have a question regarding a 50ml TF private blend perfume. I bought it from an online seller, the box, bottle, atomizer all looks identical to my 100ml genuine one. The only difference I've noticed is, when I remove the cap from the atomizer, on the confirmed genuine one there is a plastic fill inside with a tiny number on it. Ive seen those numbers on few genuine TF I have. However, the newly purchased 50ml doesnt have this tiny number on the plastic fill inside the atomizer. Any thoughts?

What if the barcode on the sealed bottle is also pointy i have someone that i want to buy oud minerale from, the barcode is pointy and its still sealed? 100 ml oud minerale €200 seems a bit good to be true in my opinion
Just buy with PayPal or with other trusted organizations. Watch oud a lot of fake . Or! When you open it , just film it until you pull the gap out so you can see if it’s plastic . If it’s metal, bring it back !
Thank you for this video. I've just received what appears to be a fake 100ml Bitter Peach and the atomiser is metal. On top of that the sillage is poor and it disappears after 10 minutes on my skin. Very nice and underrated (which makes it more unique). Have you tried any from the sister brand Initio? I am using Oud for Greatness quite a lot now and enjoy it.
Thank you for a great video. I've just noticed there are fake ones out there with the bottom barcode on the box with shaper square corners instead of round one. So this might not work anymore. The best way probably the inside of the sprayer.
My ombre leather has the plastic cap, the sharp barcode edges and all the stuff you said so it should be legit. It smells wonderfull it lasts for hours but Im still a little worried because there are 2 catchy things. 1st It's a 3.4floz bottle i bought for 50$ which sounds too good to be true, and 2nd the drydown on mine is a little more floral than what i've seen when i tested tf ombre leather. It's the same longevity, the opening is the same, the leather note is the same it smells expensive it's great but the drydown is like 5% more floral than what it should be i think, maybe it's a batch variation. it's batch code is A49 which is april 2019 from what google told me. Can someone that has the same batch confirm or is mine fake? Whatever the case it smells great and lasts long so i'll keep it but still i'd like to know.
Oh no!! My Oud Wood has a plastic sprayer! It smells so legit- but honestly it doesn't last that long. I thought the fragrance itself didn't last so long.. I bought a Tobacco Vanille from a decent seller for the standard price. I bought it since I loved the 5ml decant i purchased from a splitter. But when i received the full bottle it smelled quite differently and doesnt project so loud as what i normally read. So I thought it is a fake but i checked your videos as well as others and the bottle i got passed all test. Its legit. Sadly maybe my body just doesnt want to project it as others haha Thank you for your tip. I'm looking at Oud Wood next for my collection! Will keep these things in mind always.
First of all… when you buy a new bottle , you Always have to wait for maceration . When air comes in the bottle , it will macerate. Just have patients and you will see after some weeks . Especially vanilla based fragrances . They will get stronger. But , the old bottles are stronger unfortunately. The weather and also the skin are aspects you can’t ignore . Congratulations!!!!!!!! It depends tuan. If you have tobacco vanille or Tuscan leather , it MUST be a beast mode . If you have the oud wood , neroli or the aquatic tomfords , even the authentic one is very weak . Can you be more specific? How long is the performance?

If the skin sense was counted belong to fragrance longevity - it’s beast mode, I can smell vanille very long when put my nose close to my skin, over 20 hours and more I guess. Idk if tobacco vanille was watered down or what but a lot of reviewers said that. My batch code is A80 ( tobacco > vanille ). Im testing it rn.

But Tuan , Is your skin to dry, what about the weather, how about the colour of your skin or maybe it’s reformulated? the barcode part seems to be untrue i bought mine from sephora and the barcode is similar to the fake one you have could depend on when the batch was made

36€ is very cheap for a tobacco vanille. Probably, the seller was awere of it. You can keep it if it smells good but yes it’s a fake . I’m sorry for that .

i got scammed, I bough tom ford tobacco vanille that is exactly like your oud wood, the only difference is the metal part instead of the plastic part. the atomizer is no sense, the most satisfying thing ever seen. I bought this from a friend of mine that is going to refund me, but I have to say that for 40 bucks is really a good fragrance 😅

I bought sometime ago a Versace Man 2003 perfume brand new in cellophane, looks original smells original, everything is the same as the original. The only difference I could notice was the sprayer acted weird, then I started looking into it then I found out the only thing that was not identical was the sprayer, not same size as the original. And it last only 1-2 hour then it's gone no skin scent, nothing. It was only 80 euro but I learned my lesson. I'm very very careful when I buy now.😊

It smells wonderfull it lasts for hours but Im still a little worried because there are 2 catchy things. 1st It's a 3.4floz bottle i bought for 50$ which sounds too good to be true, and 2nd the drydown on mine is a little more floral than what i've seen when i tested tf ombre leather. It's the same longevity, the opening is the same, the leather note is the same it smells expensive it's great but the drydown is like 5% more floral than what it should be i think, maybe it's a batch variation. it's batch code is A49 which is april 2019 from what google told me. Can someone that has the same batch confirm or is mine fake? Whatever the case it smells great and lasts long so i'll keep it but still i'd like to know.

Oh no!! My Oud Wood has a plastic sprayer! It smells so legit- but honestly it doesn't last that long. I thought the fragrance itself didn't last so long.. I was worried about the Noir de Noir I just got but the sprayer inside is metal. Damn they are getting good! Does your fake Oud Wood smell like the original? I bought a Tobacco Vanille from a decent seller for the standard price. I bought it since I loved the 5ml decant i purchased from a splitter. But when i received the full bottle it smelled quite differently and doesnt project so loud as what i normally read. So I thought it is a fake but i checked your videos as well as others and the bottle i got passed all test. Its legit. Sadly maybe my body just doesnt want to project it as others haha Thank you for your tip. I'm looking at Oud Wood next for my collection! Will keep these things in mind always.
First of all… when you buy a new bottle , you Always have to wait for maceration . When air comes in the bottle , it will macerate. Just have patients and you will see after some weeks . Especially vanilla based fragrances . They will get stronger. But , the old bottles are stronger unfortunately. The weather and also the skin are aspects you can’t ignore . Congratulations!!!!!!!! It depends tuan. If you have tobacco vanille or Tuscan leather , it MUST be a beast mode . If you have the oud wood , neroli or the aquatic tomfords , even the authentic one is very weak . Can you be more specific? How long is the performance?
@@SUBIESAMURAI07 Yes. I got a tobacco vanille bottle. Its sillage is good but about max 2 hours it come to skin sense. If the skin sense was counted belong to fragrance longevity - it’s beast mode, I can smell vanille very long when put my nose close to my skin, over 20 hours and more I guess. Idk if tobacco vanille was watered down or what but a lot of reviewers said that. My batch code is A80 ( tobacco > vanille ). Im testing it rn.

But Tuan , Is your skin to dry, what about the weather, how about the colour of your skin or maybe it’s reformulated? the barcode part seems to be untrue i bought mine from sephora and the barcode is similar to the fake one you have could depend on when the batch was made

i got scammed, I bough tom ford tobacco vanille that is exactly like your oud wood, the only difference is the metal part instead of the plastic part. the atomizer is no sense, the most satisfying thing ever seen. I bought sometime ago a Versace Man 2003 perfume brand new in cellophane, looks original smells original, everything is the same as the original. The only difference I could notice was the sprayer acted weird, then I started looking into it then I found out the only thing that was not identical was the sprayer, not same size as the original. And it last only 1-2 hour then it's gone no skin scent, nothing. It was only 80 euro but I learned my lesson. I'm very very careful when I buy now.😊
