  • In an expression of concern for the well-being of the people of Zamboanga, the U.S. Embassy is responding to the immediate needs of some 14,000 citizens displaced by the ongoing crisis situation in several areas of the city by designating Pesos 26,400,000 (US$600,000) to provide relief and emergency through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
Through its local partner Growth With Equity in Mindanao (GEM), USAID has procured 5,000 bottles of water, 1,500 sleeping mats, blankets, tooth brushes, toothpaste, buckets, and canned goods for distribution to those in need. USAID expects to procure a total of 10,000 units of these items to help meet the needs of evacuees. Additionally, USAID is supporting the local construction of 40 portable toilets and is providing four 500 gallon water tank to ensure better sanitation and access to water for those who have been displaced.
The delivery of these items has been coordinated by the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Philippine National Police with the support of the U.S. Joint Special Operations Task Force-Philippines (JSOTF-P). This coordination of Philippine and U.S. partners for the assistance of people in need, is an example of the close working cooperation between both countries. The items sent were requested by Mayor Climaco of Zamboanga City.

I know some or most Americans get infuriated seeing some of their tax money go to other countries... I understand that sentiment, but likewise, I understand the need to help. This time, it didn't just hit close to home, -- it hit home. US assistance was sent to Zamboanga City, Philippines, my hometown.
So from me... and everyone else from my hometown. A BIG BIG THANK YOU. ♥
Muchas Gracias America! Your help means so much to the Zamboangueños!

Let us not forget that we all deserve of what is due to us, we religiously pay our taxes no matter how it takes from us, so use that money to protect the people. Empower the citizens by boosting the military sector so that they could properly safeguard the land. Shame on those leaders who love to receive donations from private sectors/groups, u are missing the point, You government officials are actually obliged to protect us in all means of harm, this is your role...

I can vouch billions is there, but most of you opted not to use the money and the latter benefit the funds for personal purposes.Yet still i want to thank America for this noble act, whatever might be the consequences of this gesture, I must admit that in one way or the other it saves a meal for the zambuanguenos for that particular day...

America has always worked with the Philippines but Muslim's? Who'd ever believe we'd be fighting Muslim's in the Philippines too. Many American's go to the Philippines, Japan and South Korea to train in Martial Arts but this is the first I've ever heard of a Muslim conflict, currious as to how this started? One thing is for sure, they're gonna get their asses handed to them because this isn't the Middle East and these fuckers play for keeps. They know how to fight and they have Balls of Steel.

REITERATION OF MNLF's POSITION ON THE ZAMBOANGA SIEGE
By: John R. Petalcorin, MNLF Director for Communications,
MNLF Officer-in-Charge while Misuari is on Whereabouts Unknown Status.
We would like to reiterate (since December 2013) that MNLF officially denies participation in that infamous chaos in Zamboanga City of September 2013. Please be informed that MNLF Cmdr Habier Malik, MNLF Leader Nur Misuari, and all members of the Genuine MNLF are not participants in that chaos in Zamboanga City of September 2013. This denial is based on the result of MNLF's internal affairs field investigation.
That chaos in Zamboanga City of Sept 2013 was just a False Flag Operation by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (a revenge of Gen. Emmanuel T. Bautista whose father then Gen. Teodulfo Bautista died under the weapon of the MNLF in 1977) to smear dirt on the face of MNLF and a cover-up to the extra-judicial forced eviction by the Local Government of Zamboanga City led by Mayor Ma. Isabelle "Bheng" Climaco-Salazar (under the supervision of DILG Sec. Mar Roxas of the President Benigno S. Aquino administration) against the poor, defenseless, helpless, marginalized Badjao minorities and members of the Indigenous Peoples.
The Zamboanga Siege videos of Sept 2013 were scripted, like indie films. You can find one of the many fabricated news evidences in UA-cam title "ZAMBOANGA SIEGE WAR BLOOPERS SWAT PNP ARMY".
Davao Mayor Rody Duterte, during an ambush interview in 10 September 2013 (second day of the Zamboanga chaos), said that it is not Misuari's forces in there. Misuari apparently told Duterte that "it is not his forces" that is in there in Zamboanga siege. This is published in UA-cam with title: "Duterte on MNLF Nur Misuari" dated 10 Sept 2013. Despite Misuari's denial, Duterte said he tried to convince Misuari to use his influence to intervene if it could help solve the tension. Misuari, being popular as a UN Peace Prize awardee and Nobel Peace Prize nominee, heeded to the call for his intervention and his good intention entangled him into the chaos as mass media misinterpretted his help.
The alleged rogue MNLF commanders Assamin Hussin and Bas Arki who allegedly started the trouble are not in the membership record of the MNLF.
The alleged leader of the alleged rogue MNLF in the middle of the chaos Cmdr Habier Malik was not in the vicinity all throughout the chaos.
The PMAer who died in the middle of the chaos was wearing MNLF uniform on the time of his death.
Army officer assigned in 53th Engineering Battalion based in headquarter of Philippine Army (PA) was caught red-handed in manufacturing counterfeit MNLF uniforms in Jetson Tailoring Zamboanga City.
Ceasefire only applies to armed conflict. There is no such thing as a ceasefire in squatter demolition operation.
The assassination of Zamboanga City Judge Reynerio Estancia Sr on 28 Feb 2014 is related to the cover-up of this False Flag Operation. Our pretext interview with survivors close to the late Judge disclosed that the last official transaction of the Judge was he refused to issue a Warrant of Arrest against Nur Misuari because the applicants of the warrant have not presented any evidence that is required to substantiate the allegation against Nur Misuari. The government military has Martial-Law-type full control over Zamboanga City during that period of assassination.
Our field investigation result shows no genuine MNLF was hurt, injured, killed, or arrested in that inhumane government operation. The MNLF condemns the inhumane uprooting incident in Zamboanga City of Sept 2013. While we (MNLF) supports the petition of the people who wish to return to their residences where they were uprooted, the parties who have grabbed their land are still using the same recycled (MNLF-themed) scare tactics to justify militarization of Zamboanga City and prevent the return of the minorities to their original residences.
Only Mayor Bheng Climaco "celebrates" the anniversary of infamous Zamboanga mass uprooting because she is the one who happily and substantially gains from grabbing the lands.
We (MNLF) have monitored the internet and it appears nobody knows where Nur Misuari is since he was put on "whereabouts unknown" status since September 2013. Nur Misuari is not hiding from the law; he is just complying to security orders of high-level MNLF official to put himself safe in "whereabouts unknown" status because his life is in imminent danger from assassination.
Nobody have seen the much-talk-about warrant of arrest for Nur Misuari. As of today, more than a year after the chaos, the Court of Justice is still trying to determine the schedule and venue where evidences and witnesses on the allegations against MNLF can be formally presented to the Court. The court has sent subpoena to the members of the mainstream media that published reference-less allegations and accusations against Misuari to present their references and evidence, and they responded to the court saying that they cannot be obliged to testify on their publications.
Read the news, "DOJ: Zambo siege suspects tortured". Fifty-nine (59) detainees in relation to the Sept 2013 Zamboanga siege had their "genitals stapled, heads wrapped in plastic bags, forced to confess participation in the attack and membership in the Misuari-led Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF)". The policemen under the administration of mayor Isabelle "Bheng" Climaco-Salazar, DILG Sec. Mar Roxas, and President Benigno S. Aquino are desperately resorting to torture to witch-hunt for evidence against Misuari/MNLF.
We, MNLFs, have consistently maintained a position (since the beginning) that we have nothing to do with the incident and we will internally investigate the accusations. After extensive investigation, we concluded that MNLF has no involvement in that chaos, that there is no moral justification on the means and ends of that chaos, and we condemn the incident.
    MNLF's COMMUNICATION LINE
Please don't be misled by our opponent's propaganda against us that they publish in mainstream media. Be aware that there is a public's access to the declassified top secret info from behind closed doors of MNLF, and it is through the Facebook page titled "Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF)" at FB/OneMNLF. Our FB is the public's direct line to MNLF where we diligently and punctually answer all relevant questions and issues raised by any commenter. Our Twitter and Google Blogger account is also OneMNLF.
    STATUS OF NUR MISUARI
There is imminent threat on the life of Misuari, we have implemented the emergency measures. So I ordered that Misuari will go on whereabouts unknown status, meaning, no interview, no meeting, no public appearance. While Misuari is placed on whereabouts unknown status, I assume the position as Officer-in-Charge of the entire MNLF.
MNLF MAINTAINS A HANDS-OFF POLICY ON BBL
The political entity that Malaysia-PNoy-MILF Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL) wants to create is a form of religious and ethnic SEGREGATION that MNLF resists. The Muslims in Southern PH learned from the ARMM experience that any form of Islamic Political Entity in PH that is of less value than Independence, such as this Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL), is just a form of state-sponsored religious and ethnic SEGREGATION.
When you talk about a type of Muslims wanting Islam as the Basic Law to be applied to the general public in a political entity with an expandable territory, you will be looking at MILF as the mirror image of ISIS. The Malaysia-MILF-PNoy's extra-constitutional political concession deal called BBL is the closest specie to ISIS. Pursuing peace must be done with prudence -- the Filipino people must not give an inch of opportunity for this ISIS-like MILF to govern over the general public.
As a matter of policy, we (MNLF) maintain a hands-off position on the proposed Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL) or any political concession that Murad (MILF) wants to get from PH. Come plebiscite on the BBL, we will vote against BBL because there is no reason why we would allow Malaysian interest to establish a regular armed foothold in Southern PH.
It is not true that we (MNLF) are operating some tantrum operations, allegedly for a reason that we were "left-out" of the BBL Deal. The truth is, we are firmly decided to abstain from any acts of participation in that BBL, meaning, we will continue turning down invitation that requests our attendance to attend BBL public hearings.
We move to abolish the ARMM and disapprove the BBL. We just want the Muslims in Southern PH to be treated normally and unsegregated. We just want to revert back to the nationally acceptable numerical region and ordinary LGU. No more segregation, please.
STATUS OF MNLF's MINDANAO INDEPENDENCE ADVOCACY
We, MNLF, already freezed our advocacy for Mindanao Independence because we confirmed recently that the idea originated from the Malaysians in 1969. We confirmed that Malaysia injected it in the mind of MNLF so that MNLF will fight against the PH Govt. The advocacy of Mindanao Independence has caused at least 200,000 armed conflict-related deaths in the 1970s and even continuing nowadays. Only Malaysia enjoys the elusive peace in Mindanao as it has weakened us, Philippines, and made it impossible for us to reclaim Sabah.
We, MNLF, are going mainstream in the PH system now. Whatever the type of government the people of the Republic of the Philippines has, we will conform with it. We will allow the possibility of Nur Misuari running for Senator in the GPH, but we leave the pushing strength to the people. The MNLF Advocacy Department (that I head) is also interested to form an MNLF PartyList. We have no resources to form the MNLF PartyList, and we rely only from voluntary help from the Filipino people, please help us. We are putting the Mindanao Independence advocacy in the freezer, and we hope our kababayans will appreciate our initiative and help us form an MNLF PartyList so we can continue the following list of advocacies as an integral part of the Philippine system:
    MNLF PARTYLIST
    1. Reclaim Sabah for the Sulu, Republic of the Philippines
    2. Stop any group from using Mindanao as an entertainment coliseum of Islamic gladiators.
    3. Protect the environmental integrity of Mindanao.
    4. Eradicate Islamophobia and Christianophobia in Philippines.
    5. Eradicate "Muslim vs Christian" mentality.
    6. Integrate the Moro as a respectable member of the Philippine Society.
    7. Try to help Mindanao get a fair share of the PH government's national budget.
    8. Investigate, in aid of legislation, all incidents of armed conflicts and atrocities in Mindanao and ensure that justice is served.
    9. Exhort the PH Govt to fulfill their obligation in Sec 20A of 1996 MNLF-GPH FPA, particularly the providing of schooling and preferential livelihood program for all MNLF members.
    10. Legislate a fee-free firearm registration and licensing for all MNLF members as a gun control measure.
