When someone uses their hand to measure food portions it’s going to be a rough estimate and can be a good starting point. If you have a kitchen scale you could put food that you’ve measured using your hand first to see how close it is and then adjust it accordingly.

So if you are eating 3x a day, then you should multiply these portions by 3 to get your daily portions? And, if you multiplied these portions by 3 does that go over the nutritional recommend amount?
Arene, you would not exceed the number of recommended servings per day. It is recommended to have: 6-8 servings of grains 2-3 servings of meat 3-5 servings of vegetables 3-5 servings of fruit 2-3 servings of dairy 2-3 serving of fat/oils
