Something important to note is that during this program I noticed that Evolve doesn't really "feel like a course but more like an actual education programme". The quality is amazing and the videos are very straight forward together with the assignments. Do note that you can also always book a 1 on 1. ( So far I haven't needed one plus I must be totally honest I am a bit camera shy). But I will probably in the future when things get tricky. The feedback is incredibly detailed and well thought out. The materials are superb and complete. You're not missing anything to get started really. Evolve really is one of a kind. You learn something that you can take with you for your whole entire life. I hear people complaining about the price and I understand, 2500 isn't something you just cough up. It's like buying a completely new bed, leather couch or fridge (a good one atleast). But they expire. Evolve doesn't and gives you knowledge that goes behond and can even help you make money in the future. Think about it lads! :)
@plakjeham love this! Thank you for sharing 🙂 also don’t be afraid to take a step out of that camera shy and meet other students in our homework room (video chat for painting students). You can even enter the room with your camera off if you want to dip your toe in the water 😉 or just sit in on a live class with Piper! ~ Daniel
@@evolveartist I haven't even thought of that thanks! I have always been nervous and shy when it comes to meeting new peeps. But this is a great way to make babysteps into the right direction.
It's true that UA-cam art tutorials could be overwhelming because you don't have anyone to tell you which one to focus on. As much as I'd love to join the program, my country's bad currency makes it very very very expensive and I simply couldn't afford it with my low income. I'll have to stick with UA-cam and art books, work extra hard to make my goal possible.
Hey Mish I understand. Keep working at it! As much as we’d love to have you in the program, the skills are attainable for you whether you join Evolve or not. Our founder Kevin had a dogged determination, both in not giving up and working many hours on his skill but also in seeking help from others, and things worked out for him in the end. Hopefully the videos we post here on our channel will continue to be helpful for you 🙂 ~ Daniel
Awesome! Your sincere concern and your easy, interesting and professional approach motivate and inspire! I haven't seen a better team of art instructors, so honored to know you!
It's crazy, but I improved my art from absolute childish level to something 800% better, UA-cam learning isn't the best you can get, but it's a great way to learn if you don't have enough money to pay for art classes
I paint doll kits of various sizes mainly in black skintones to appear realistic. How can this program help someone like me develop additional skills where the canvas is a doll kit? I use heat set oil paints by Genesis by the way. To get a glimpse into what I do feel free to look up Victoria’s Little P’Nut Nursery.
i thought i was going crazy for so many years seeing how many art videos felt sensational or like slightly useless infotainment, im glad i found a video of someone else talking about this lol.
I have very mixed feelings because the last art school I went to I had a very terrible experience and it traumatized me; I didn't even get any improved skills out of it (if anything, it destroyed my confidence and self-worth) and I was especially really unhappy trying to do realism to the point it worsened my clinical depression (not in a "this is hard work that needs to be done" sense, but in a "i definitely do not want to be doing this"), but at the same time, self-study is also very unguided and I got so stressed out trying to learn on my own too that it caused my last words to my dad before he died to be an argument It's like "I need guidance" but also "I need that guidance to be very specific and its hard to tell if its useful"
Hey Zaqaree, let's have a one-to-one about this. You can message me directly on instagram or email Evolve asking to talk with me specifically (Daniel Folta). Instagram: instagram.com/danielfolta/ Email: start@evolveartist.com ~ Daniel
I have a question on your hours to weeks calculator, how did you come to the results? and are they based on a neurotypical learner or a neurodivergent learner? as someone who is in the process of having an ADHD disgnosis and finds traditional class learning and typical time limits for learning x amount of information a lot harder would this course be right for me?
Hey Katie, that’s a great question! The results came from our average student pace. As for for whether this course would be right for you, I highly recommend scheduling a meeting with one of us to talk one-to-one about it so we can really understand your situation and give you a clear idea of what you can expect. That being said, the program does go at your own pace, and you have access to the videos for life. The videos are also broken down into segments so that the information is easier to “digest.” But again I recommend booking a call with us and getting all of your questions answered before signing up 🙂 This link will allow you to schedule a call: bit.ly/avoid-these-3-mistakes ~ Daniel
watch evolve/ Stefan Baumann/ and Chris Fornitero (Paint Coach) & Florent Farges. They've sped up my learning by 100 times and cover EVERYTHING. Just saying...it worked for me. And 'no', I'm not affiliated with any of these other than being a thankful follower.
Hey Sam 🙂 while we do everything we can to make the Evolve program as affordable as possible, a lot goes into supporting our team of instructors to ensure our students get constructive feedback on each of their painting assignments, access to 1-1 meetings, live classes, video chat painting sessions, etc., not to mention the high quality supplies that come included (shipping covered, including international shipments). While these expenses do affect the price of our program, we are confident that the value of them far outstrips the cost. Evolve's value is more similar to that of an atelier or university than a workshop class or helpful UA-cam videos. We get artists to pro level art skills in 12 months part time or 3 months full-time. (Ateliers and universities do that in 3 or 4 years, minimum). We are dedicated to being a comprehensive education that truly delivers on our promise. Still, we understand that Evolve isn't for everyone. I really hope that these videos on our UA-cam channel and the training videos (linked in our description) are super helpful for you 🙂 and of course, let me know if you have any questions. Warmly ~ Daniel
I know the $2500 seems expensive. The fact that this includes $1000 worth of materials, makes this really only $1500. I am doing evolve and I know that for what you get, it is a bargain. If I did not have the money, I would sell something, get an extra job, or even borrow the money to do the course. Since it can be purchased with monthly installments, doing that is a viable choice. The course works.
Yes, even in Germany or Japan, there are people who couldn't just shell out 200 bucks a month (or 2k in one go). Doesn't matter how good the programme is - if you don't got the money, you don't got the money. That said, you can of course try to save up to it, and avoid wasting your money on anything else in the meantime. (Maybe do some drawing. Pencil and paper is cheap enough.) That's what I did and am now enrolled. (And yes, not everyone can save money. If that is you: *pat on back* I wish you luck and fortitude on your journey. Hope it gets better!)
:D that is exactly what other kind of schools like compulsory schools should also actually do at 6:10 as that is what helps to enable students to be more effectively proggresing.. not even joking lile literally this not being sarcastic either is quite an effective source of information that accurately describes how having not a specific goal... or interest on yt but merely watching recomendations just dkes not seem to go anywhere except to drain years of peoples time you know?
A few years ago I sat down to look at the cost of tuition for the highest-rated art schools in the US a couple years ago and it can easily be over 100k - I was shocked!
A fine art college can easily be 30k per year and are extremely rare nowadays. You have some on Florance, Paris and Spain wich teaches you basically how to paint like how Evolve teaches it. But then you forget the cost to actually live there and pay for yourself while studying. Evolve is honestly the solution for art enthousiasts who REALLY want to get serious. I paid it with my first work loan.
@@reyno6826 I wish it was possible too. But these people need to pay the bills too. If it was free it could have never excisted sadly. But I think it would be great if educational programms get things like sponsors or some payments from organizations that encourage the spreading of art and knowledge. That would make the company less dependent on the wallet of the students. :)
I recently joined this program and I couldn't be happier so far! An amazing education for such an excellent price
Great to hear!! Looking forward to seeing your growth 😁 ~ Daniel
I agree on the main premise which is to stick to ONE system/method until you can explain it to another person.

I'm still a student in a third world country. I really love art but the evolve program is quite expensive for me at the moment.

100 times cheaper! Soooo.... it's free
Technically it's 10x cheaper. A college art school is maybe $25 000 and the Evolve art course is $2500. Good value for money when you think about it.
