I'm so grateful to have found your video! I'm able to nurse my 2 month old without feeling excruciating pain throughout my back and knees from split nipples due to a tongue & lip ties. When executed correctly it's almost no pain at all even with existing cuts. Note: I had to let him get frustrated and cry with his mouth as wide as possible to engage majority of the areola without just gripping the nipple as he usually does. He calmed down immediately and could taste his milk dripping to further engage in his feeding.
Thank you so so much.. after crying in pain, struggling with bloody nipples, watching hundreds of breastfeeding videos and about to give up.. this is the only video that has helped me!! I can't thank you enough ❤
We FINALLY can breastfeed comfortably after 6 weeks of trial & error. I've watched endless videos, spoke to two lactation specialists, and read tons of articles trying to figure out how best to help my baby obtain a deep latch. This video made it all make sense. Thank you kindly! ❤
Omg omg omg thanks Allah I found you 😢😢 you just made my life easier as I was crying with my prem baby every day breastfeeding has become the worst nightmare of my life but you saved me from stopping breastfeeding finally this video helped me we are enjoying it 😅thank you so much
That is so lovely to hear! I'm so glad that you're actually enjoying feeding - well done for persisting, you're doing such an amazing thing for your baby :)
Thank you so much 😭😭 5 weeks of painful breastfeeding!! My nipples are raw and so sore because my baby has tongue and lip tie. This video helped so much!!
Crikey I’m so sorry to hear that you were given up on so fast. Imagine if any other part of your body was in pain and you were told to just follow your instinct!😅
Thank you! I’ve been using nipple shields so far, and trying to wean my baby off them- this technique isn’t working all the time- is there anything else I can try?

Hey Thank you for this amazing video. It's so helpful and well done with the ttop view shot. Do you this it is possible to do this and also use the chin as an anchor as you explain in other video? If so... Do you have a video doing this? Or can you explain the step by step please? Thank you again
Yes you can! The chin anchoring will happen wherever babies chin in positioned. The key is doing that little slide away from breast that I mention in the other video :) And making sure the back of baby’s head is free to tilt back :)
Thank you for this video, it’s amazing. I’m getting a deeper latch but everytime I let go off breast to hold baby I loose the latch and baby slips off. Am I doing something wrong?

@@alissabrownibclc Thanks so much for taking time out and sending me these links . She had the procedure done at 8 weeks. If u are baby chested could be this the cause of the latch being lost when trying to free up my hands
Hi Sarah. The size/shape of our breasts or angle or your nipple isn't a problem. The most important part is getting that sandwich shape and positioning your baby so their head is tilted back, their chin is leading in to the breast first (and landing on your breast, just outside your areola).Baby should then be able to stretch their top lip up and over, to take the sandwiched area of breast into their mouth, and the nipple with it. :)
Hi, i tried this and it really improved my latching. However im unable to remobe my fingers from my breast and end up oressing ny thumb very deeply which hurts both my breast and ny thumb. I just find releasing my hand highly uncomfortable as she moves a bit and then it hurts
So - if your baby isn’t able to maintain that deeper latch themselves when you remove your finger it’s either a) positioning (needing to bring baby closer and recline back yourself so that gravity helps hold baby close or b) it may be worth having your baby assessed by a tongue tie practitioner as it may be restricted tongue function which is meaning they’re unable to maintain the latch. @ you’re welcome. Can you clarify what you are asking - I’m not quite sure what you mean lol
What if i don’t have a nice round knitted breast? My nipple points out to the side, even before I hold it in my hand.
