I have noticed in some reviews that there is a problem with the outputs volume, so with the headphones output. Did you had similar problems with the Cobalt????

Congrats! I own one too! It feels and sounds amazing! Sure, there are more powerful synths out there, but Cobalt's friendly interface is worth more than many gizmos! 🙂

while you're recording very simple it's easy once you

I’ve just bought one of these it came yesterday! I have no musical talent or ability,I’ve never worked in a studio or owned any studio software but for my second synth I got this ,my first one is a behringer crave that I got last week! Oh and I also need to learn piano lol

I think Cobalt8 is easier to handle and the software editor even as IOS app is really a good thing...🎹🎚🎛 have fun...👊🏻

@Racebloggen-TV - Just thought I'd add my 2p worth mate. I was in the same situation as you last month, I was looking at buying my first ever synth, and I watched about 100 UA-cam demos of just about every synth in the £500 ish price range. It took weeks to decide, and in the end I narrowed it down to a choice between the Minilogue xd, Argon 8, and Cobalt 8.
I mainly want to make ambient types of music, and judging by the sounds I heard, plus information about the overall build quality and the keys, plus the ease of use for a beginner, plus I wanted a good sequencer and arpeggiator. I finally decided on the Cobalt 8. I can confirm that it's a very good quality synth, and not too difficult to get great sounds out of it quite quickly.
At the end of the day you can spend forever watching UA-cam videos and suffer from option paralysis, so if you want one, you've just got to bite the bullet and go with whichever synth suits your needs but I'd definitely recommend the Cobalt 8.

Sounds great, but they definitely need a setting to disable the metronome when recording automation.

Anyone know if I can use a Pedal for the aftertouch funktion? I'm thinking of getting cobalt 8 m and using my E Piano as an controller. But I dont want to miss the aftertouch. Thanks.

There are certainly better ones, but in this price range, the integrated reverb is nothing to complain about…🎧🎹
