Thank you. I was beginning to think something was wrong, cos can’t seem to find the right broker. They have so many of them out there offering basically nothing even though they scream FREE this and that from the rooftops.
All I could find about futures pricing at TD was $2.25 per side + exchange and regulatory fees. No mention of a less expensive micro fee. Am I missing something or is that the most expensive place to trade futures?
@@timothyvowell4773 Seems like the all the big names want you to call their futures customer service for whatever reason. Same thing with Schwab & E*Trade
At TD it takes 3 weeks to get approved for futures trading and most likely they will not approve and you will not know until after the three weeks. They didn't approve my brother even though his account value is just under $200,000 and he has traded stocks with them for 4 years. They refuse to give a reason.
Good video. Took me four tries to find the right broker. Finally settled on AMP. They're good but not happy with their decision to shut down all crude trading until further notice
@@khawkaizhi890 usually market data fees is for live data straight from the market, Tradovate fees can be by product, low as $3 per bundle or $13 for lvl 2
That's what I was fearing "slow executing fees" Im waiting for my tradovate account to get funded and will do some testing myself. Did you switch to a different broker? Wich one? If this doesnt work well im considering AMP
True. I have been looking at Ninja trader and it is not user friendly, they don't make things easy for new users..setting it up is such a hastle. I don't like it.

I searched and searched. Why would TD not have that information available? Ninja Trader's site had all of that information listed.

TOS is the most expensive that I've seen.

Interactive Brokers, Yes, you have to buy data. Their Paper Trade Account is fantastic, but doesn't work without a futures/equities subscription.
good video. thank you for the info
Tradovate is not available in Canada any idea why?

Best video on the subject thanks a lot
Have you heard of optimus futures ?
Nothing on Trade station?

life isnt easy
Thanks men
$50 margin for mini went to $60 on tradovate is that a permanent change?
if that $10 is a dealbreaker for you then you should not be trading..
TD Ameritrade asks you for an Options Advance Trading Certificate in order to apply for Futures Trading. Look for another broker!!!
That should take you a few hours to complete in TD Ameritrade!
Does tradovate accept canadian residents?
You do buy data from IB
TD Ameritrade is great for just back testing ideas and paper trading.
