Living in the Bourbon Desert of Michigan my bucket list is pretty simple, Stagg, EH Taylor small batch, Old Overholt 10 and OGD 16 🤔😖🫣👍😉 Cheers my friend 🥃
Wild Turkey donut is amazing. After I had a pour and immediately started searching for a bottle to buy. No luck yet but I’d definitely drop a grand on one.
Yep that’s a good ones 👍🏼 haven’t tired it myself. But had the ER17 of 2023 that was suppose to be 19 years old and it’s one of the best whiskeys I’ve ever had.
I tried a pour of EHT bp rye in a blind tasting against Old Rip and JD bp rye pick a few weeks ago. The EHT edged out the JD for the win. It was excellent but it barely beat a shelfer pick. That being said; my bucket list : 1. EHT BP 2. BOOKERS RYE 3. ANY LE JD 4. EAGLE VERY RARE. 5. OLD CARTER. Im sure with deeper thought i can list 5 more. Cheers
Good list. I hope to try the BP Rye soon. I do love the normal EHT straight Rye. But yeah it’s so hard to beat the JD Rye. One of the best ever I think.
@HOUSEBOURBON I happen to prefer the Kosher str8 rye to the EHT str8 rye. If you haven't had the Kosher whiskey from BT they are worth it and cheap in comparison.
@ I haven’t had the Kosher Rye. But from what I understand that, the Sazarac Rye, the Saz 16 and the Handy are all the same mashbill. ~51% Rye. And the EHTaylor Rye is higher Rye 70% and possible distilled at Barton.
@HOUSEBOURBON yea, the Str8 Rye is Barton juice. Same code for Barton on back label, dspy13 or 12,something like that is on the EHT. Given the "Taterness" of the Kosher line I'm shocked you don't own them. I guess a uncommon is not the color you want on your only Drams pie chart, lol. I bet your pie is orange and pink.
Great list! I’ll add Eagle Rare 25 and old rip van winkle 25. Why not dream, right?
That’s what this list is all about. Ridiculous pours. That hopefully you come across

Shoot me a email. I can make the Old overhold and Stagg happen pretty easy 😄 housebrbn@gmail.com
Fun list. My add would be a Michter’s Celebration. I’ve seen that for $200/pour too. One day….
Good add with the Celebration. That would definitely be on the list. I think
It’s at the Michters Bar. But I think it’s even more than that.
This is a great video! Old Willett is on my list to procure
So many come up. But defiantly need to research what the deal is with them all
I’ve seen multiple spreadsheets on them etc but still know nothing 🤣
Na all luck.

I was a bit worried about customs and the bottle leaking . But knowing what I know now I would have probably got that donunt in Japan
Id love to try double eagle very rare

Yep. 9% common. Need to get that shit to 0% 😃
So the DSP on the BP Rye is only 114 or Buffalo Trace 🫤
