Looking for 4x, GSG, turn-based tactics, and other strategy/tactics style games? Check this video out - ua-cam.com/video/vGKwjWaQO28/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared ! 2024 is feeling like another good year for my favourite kinds of games! Remember to wishlist any of the games here that you like the look of - it's a great way of staying up to date with them (and so is subscribing to the channel!). Any that you're keeping an eye on yourself? Any that I've missed? Let me know - I'm always looking to add more to my radar!
I played Manor Lords. I think it's a good world builder and it sort of feels like Frostpunk but the RTS for combat is a bit lack luster and there is a lot that they should improv
You produce the best quality strategy games content that I have ever encountered. Always on the bleeding edge of the point and I learn so much about obscure games that I would never notice without your overview. Your love for strategy really shines through. You are the non plus ultra in terms of strategy games content.
Everything looks promising but Synergy & Laysara are my top picks. Frostpunk 2 will be awesome for sure but I will suck at it and will end up watching a walkthrough I think.
Another game to be on the lookout for is The Universim which is releasing January 22 from its decade long early access and is something I, personally, am really exited for.
I enjoy your previews and look forward to seeing how these games evolve in development. I have been playing Aven Colony, Offworld Trading Company, Frostpunk, Surviving the Aftermath and Surviving Mars and enjoy the settings and challenges they present. I have also enjoyed the City Skylines, Caesar and Anno games.
Have you tried Song of Syx? Very deep and cool city/country builder, its already on EA, so dunno how it fits with these lists, but very worth checking. Also Infection Free Zone. A zombie post apocalyptic settlement builder, rather than the standard shooter mayhem, you are making a safe haven for people, out of the ruins of the old world. Sure, there's defense involved, but your focus is in defense, not in gratuitous bloodshed like most zombie games.
@@Teoras One of those games that only get known by people speaking of them, and the rare big youtuber doing a video. Starsector is another that took me years to find. :P
As a player for years... I can say that you should all look at Foundation. It's now a very impressive and fun game now. Cant wait to play at the full-game
Great list! Just played the Laysara demo, looks promising! And I would add Pax Augusta to my list, a Roman city builder made by one guy with great historical accuracy!
I hope the devs of _Synergy_ have watched the HBO show _Scavengers Reign_ as no media in recent memory has done a better job of nailing an indifferent alien ecosystem and there has never, in my opinion, been a truly successful sci-fi/alien city builder.
If you love medieval city builders and you can get through "cartoonish" graphics, you really need to try Foundation. Because of the building system, where you get parts to build castles, churches, taverns etc. instead of already built in churches you just place.. it gives you countless options With only few (essential) mods you can build whatever you set your mind to.
Foundation is great. I haven't played it in a while, but plan to get back to it soon. Definitely a recommend from the state it was in a few updates back.
I know it is not a new game or a game you have not played on the channel very much opposite, but the new dlcs and updates were intriguing. The game I am talking about is humankind.
The Prologue for Builders of Egypt was recently (ish) updated, now has three missions and some improvements I believe. So there is progress, just slow.
I'm scared and intrigued by the scale of "Workers and resources of the Soviet Republic" it is on my wishlist and maybe next sale if I have vacation again...
I know that it already released in 2023, but I'd add a more fixed/completed version of Cities Skyline II as a side mention. What we got in 2023 was fun, but definitely not 100%. It really should have been classified as an early access. I think with a few fixes and modding support, CSII will be a lot more polished game this year.
Realistic model and open world is not easy job. One ram usage, render distance and inside building render, AI logics, vehicles and other things. It would required cpu, ram and gpu to run well else it will lag or crashed if you build whole city that is place and build instead of preloaded map buildings and other things. Example satisfactory there are few people did try and did not go well.
4 One of The Disasters in One of The Sim City Games There Needs 2 B a Caseoh Giant T|-|T Destroys The Populous… Make IT look like Mecha Godzilla Mecha Caseoh… Pretty Sure He’d B cool w IT as Long As He GoT Royalties & IT was Done Tastefully as well in in Humorous way..

Solium Infernum, would love to see you play it
Definitely think you should check out Pax Augusta, seeing that you have some other historical / roman type city builders in your list!
Are you going to do a series on the new Planet Zoo coming out pleeeeeeease?
Thanks for mentioning Roman Triumph: Survival City Builder! It truly means a lot as a solo developer :)
Great job sir. Thank you for the game
THE ANNUAL, PLAN MY STEAM WISHLIST VIDEOS!! YES!!!
He speaks the truth.
Manor Lords looking like one of the best upcoming games of any genre this year....
Norland also looks good, i played demo and it can be very good game
agreed
I wish it was coming to ps5!!! So tired of consoles not getting as much content as pc!!! Like dlc's and games!!
I played Manor Lords. I think it's a good world builder and it sort of feels like Frostpunk but the RTS for combat is a bit lack luster and there is a lot that they should improv
Thank you so much for including our Kaiserpunk to this awesome list! We'll be doing our best to make players happy with what we're doing :)
Manor Lords looks cool!
2024 will be such a great year! Thank you for featuring our upcoming game Tavern Keeper! 💚

This list has become the Golden Standard for the games to watch/play every year. Hope to see you soon on stream!
You're going a great job buddy. This was a good video and very informative.
Another game to be on the lookout for is The Universim which is releasing January 22 from its decade long early access and is something I, personally, am really exited for.
Fantastic list here! I'm most hyped for Manor Lords and Kaiserpunk. Yummy, what a year ahead :)
Kaiserpunk seems pretty interesting id say.
The pirate one would also interest me because goddamn pirates of course
Great summary! Made me super excited for the upcoming releases this year.
The art style and the gameplay of Synergy kinda reminds of the Wandering Village (which I absolutely loved, I wonder if Party would play it).
I appreciate your notice about being afiliated with a publisher of some of the games. Thank you!

I have been playing Aven Colony, Offworld Trading Company, Frostpunk, Surviving the Aftermath and Surviving Mars and enjoy the settings and challenges they present. I have also enjoyed the City Skylines, Caesar and Anno games.
The Universim is also worth checking, it's about to go out of early access this month and it seems fitting for this category. Thank you for the video!
I am enjoying Universim, they've improved it a lot from earliest access. Farthest frontier is also really good
Have you tried Song of Syx? Very deep and cool city/country builder, its already on EA, so dunno how it fits with these lists, but very worth checking.

Songs of Syx is absolutely a hidden gem. I was astonished when I tried it out. How it isn't more known or popular I do not understand.

@@Runetrantor oh yes, starsector is awesome too, love it
Funny how you're intrigued and can't wait for every single game out there
Youre A saint for doing this !!! Video Game news is to complicated now...! I follow like 78 channels & i can't keep up 👍 #PartyElite
Great video. Lots of variety coming which is good for all of us.
Laysara summit kingdom will be interesting, played the beta and wanted to play more 😊
Farthest Frontier is definately worth a good look
I had no idea Manor Lords was coming to console. This made my year
As a player for years... I can say that you should all look at Foundation. It's now a very impressive and fun game now. Cant wait to play at the full-game
Fanatic list. Had to add a bunch of these to my wishlist. Norland might be the one I'm most excited for though most of the list looks good.
I never heard of the first 3 mentioned and intrigued by all of them ! Also looking forward to Laysara, Foundation and the W&R games for a while now.
Starfall Protocol looks like multi-planet Rimworld. I like it.
Thanks PartyElite!
Universim Will release from early access. With interstellar exploration im looking forward to it
Great list! Just played the Laysara demo, looks promising! And I would add Pax Augusta to my list, a Roman city builder made by one guy with great historical accuracy!

synergy looks nice
Songs of Syx is really good.
another awesome video. u awesome
I want a city builder that’s like Tropico mixed with Manor Lord that has Multiplayer. Thrive seems to be filling that want for now
Manorlords is truly exciting.
Foundation is great. I haven't played it in a while, but plan to get back to it soon. Definitely a recommend from the state it was in a few updates back.
Looking forward to Manor Lords.
Manor Lords gives me modern day Stronghold vibe.
Kaiserpunk is more interesting to me, though it be more interesting I could build all the weapons from germany in world war 1. That include the Navy.
I know it is not a new game or a game you have not played on the channel very much opposite, but the new dlcs and updates were intriguing. The game I am talking about is humankind.
Looking forward to norland
have you seen or heard anything about Builders Of Egypt? The trailer looks nice but it's the game play I am interested in
The Prologue for Builders of Egypt was recently (ish) updated, now has three missions and some improvements I believe. So there is progress, just slow.
Thank you :)
Northern Lands was the only one I got interested in.
I'm scared and intrigued by the scale of "Workers and resources of the Soviet Republic" it is on my wishlist and maybe next sale if I have vacation again...
Synergy has been one ive been looking at for a while i hope it launches full release and not early access
Infection Free Zone, would match the list as well, release date just announced, 11th April
Idk if it would count under sim game or not but train valley world is another one im looking forward to
Workers and Resources Soviet Republics was released years ago.
Perfect🤗 💖😗
norland was pretty fun
Surprisingly, no comparison to RimWorld was made, even though at least two of these were very similar in looks and/or gameplay.
They Need Also A VR Simulation Game where U can Go into You’re own World..
Ostriv? Although I'm not sure if there is a 1.0 release date yet.
Wow laysara looks really cool, i hope it comes to console
Synergy seems really cool but I worry about the publisher, they give such shovelware vibes
What is the game clip during the intro where the guy is standing next to an Ox?
Metropolis 1998 and Mannor Lords look the most promising to be honest.
Nearly 1000 hrs in Workers & Resources
What platform will these be released on? I have PS4 and will be getting PS5 this year.
That damn Soviet game is happening right now !!
Ive been interested in Laysara for a long time now kind of disappointed its gonna be early access release after its been pushed back already
Cities Skylines 2 was supposed to be it, but alas…
Manor Lords! Looking forward to the strategy video.
Also...BG3/Rogue Trader let's plays 🤌🙏
My top three most anticipated: Manor Lords, Manor Lords and then erm Manor Lords 👀
What about Industry Giant 4.0 ?
My 2 most anticipated games for 2024? Manor Lords and Homeworld 3, please do not screw theese games up OK?
Im sorry but Starfall Protocol looks just like a Rimworld knockoff, with the same animations lol
5:46 cancelled by Paradox?
War Hospital - far from what was advertised, I was sincerely looking forward to it, but playing it... feels like flash game.
Realistic model and open world is not easy job. One ram usage, render distance and inside building render, AI logics, vehicles and other things. It would required cpu, ram and gpu to run well else it will lag or crashed if you build whole city that is place and build instead of preloaded map buildings and other things. i just want a new banished
No Farthest Frontier?
Pirates game just look like a anno 1800 dlc 😂
Well you can tell who is creating Life by you. lol
farthest frontier ? no ?
Happy about the 1.0 releases. Early access don't really agree with me.
Synergy looks like it was drawn by a 12-year-old and made in about 3 1/2 hours
4 One of The Disasters in One of The Sim City Games There Needs 2 B a Caseoh Giant T|-|T Destroys The Populous… Make IT look like Mecha Godzilla Mecha Caseoh… Pretty Sure He’d B cool w IT as Long As He GoT Royalties & IT was Done Tastefully as well in in Humorous way..
Not even one of these games picked up my interest tbh
“Life By You looks like The Sims on steroids.”
Are they expired steroids?
Hmmm. no real "modern" city building games it appears.. Thanks for Fcking us all over Cities Skylines!
Life by you looked interest rest are meh for me. I guess i'm just not in the mood for this genre atm.
Starfall Protocol - Rimworld rip off?
Manor lords is awesome. Soviet republic and frostpunk2 are good. Others Just garbage. My opnion, cry space down bellow
Roman Triumph is a collection of copy paste/stolen models from the game Grand Ages: Rome... weak.
