The Jack What bit really got to me because at my last school there was very few students so I was the only one with my name in the whole school, even though I don’t have a common name, at my new school there is another one with my name so when I first went to reception the lady was like Poppy what and looked at me like I was done and she was meant to know everybody and I was kind of embarrassed and scared so now I say my full name all the time

Anyone could've claimed one of the phones was theirs and just taken it, there was no confirmation involved with the receptionists.
The ‘school receptionist’ and ‘Maisie’s mum’, whilst brilliantly portrayed, give me flashbacks and anxiety - why were nearing middle-aged women of my childhood almost all of this same attitude…all perpetually pissed off at life, the heat, giving you lifts, when trying to go to a party, but something etc. Every minute of every day was like a goddamn chore to exist! 😂
