Hi everyone thanks for watching! A few things: -Yes I know the glasses glare is annoying, I will figure that out for future videos. -I did this video without a script, and I have half-scripted my tier list videos in the past. I wanted to see how it came out and it feels more natural IMO, but it's definitely a lot more ramble-y. Let me know what your thoughts are in the comments; do you like this style or should I go back to half-scripting? Hope you enjoyed! :)
Personally I like this style and felt it was more natural too. Feels like I’m having a conversation with a nerdy enthusiast like myself, which is pretty cool
When I first rode Great Bear last august, I think I rode back left (not in the morning, like 2 pm maybe) , but I thought it was the weakest B&M, even behind Scream, as it had no whip in its first half. When I rode it back right a few hours later felt way more whippy, and the second half is insane. I love how the corkscrew almost has 2 kinks to it instead of the 1 kink other old school invert corkscrews have.
I’ll give you I’m biased because Afterburn is my second favorite coaster at my home park, but I’ve always loved how the “airtime hill” provides a foot chopper with the lift hill motor. I’ve ridden that ride a zillion times and it still gets me
I saw you leaving after the El Toro ERT and i wanted to say hi but I didn’t lol you are easily one of the best coaster UA-camrs out there. Even if Great Bear is comically overrated on this list it’s cool. Love the content!
I love Silver Bullet, thanks for appreciating it more than other enthusiast who rank it as the worst invert ever, yes the drop is flawed but the rest of the ride is perfect 👌
I've been on all of the inverts in the US other than Talon (Should be riding it in the next 2 weeks). Here are my tiers: S: Montu, Afterburn, & Alpengeist A: Raptor, Flight Deck, & Great Bear B: Dragon's Challenge (Fire & Ice), Batman (SFMM), Batman (SFOG) C: Banshee, Batman (SFGAmerica), Batman (SFOT) D: Goliath, Batman (SFGAdeventure), Batman (SFSL), Goliath, Silver Bullet F: Patriot TBD: Talon
BGT was my home park as a kid. Rode Montu many many times including with the alligator pit and no trims before the batwing. Rode it again for the first time in more than 20 years literally 2 days ago and 🤤
My Rankings (I've Ridden Every B&M Invert In North America And Nemesis) S Tier: 1 Montu (By Far The Best Invert) 2 Nemesis 3 Banshee 4 Chinese Fireball A Tier: 5 Afterburn 6 Alpengeist 7 Hungarian Horntail 8 Raptor B Tier: 9 Great Bear C Tier: 10 Flight Deck 11 Talon D Tier: 12 Silver Bullet 13 Patriot Batman The Ride Tier: (Or Basically Really Mediocre Or Lower Tier For Invert Standards.) 14 Batman The Ride (SFOG) 15 Batman The Ride (SFGAm) 16 Batman The Ride (SFMM) 17 Vampire (Batman The Ride At La Ronde) 18 Great White (Batman The Ride At Seaworld San Antonio) 19 Batman The Ride (SFGadv) 20 Goliath 21 Batman The Ride (Over Texas) F Tier: Only Invert I Would Consider "Bad" 22 Batman The Ride (St Louis)
I agree with nearly everything besides Montu and Banshee. I found Banshee to be quite forceful but I think i've gotten lucky everytime i've ridden it.. Montu on the other hand.. Probably C tier for me, I can't find the bone crushing forces on that ride that everyone raves about and tbh i thought Afterburns Batwing was more forceful than Montu's. Kumba was far more intense than Montu, wish i could see the hype for Montu.
I got 3 rides on Banshee and all found them to be eh. None of them were like night rides or anything, I was too busy looping Diamondback lmao. I've heard a few people have meh opinions about Montu too, obvi that's the minority but you're not alone.
@@thomasxl200 My favorite Invert overall is Alpengeist, yeah I know my Montu takes are definitely among the Minority but idk it just won't give me the ride that everyone else gets on it. Maybe someday I will
Yeah I'm joking around more than anything, I would actually love to go to Worlds of Fun, it looks awesome. And I'd love to compare trimless Mamba to Steel Force.
I’m so happy I got on Dueling Dragons the year before it stopped dueling. They should’ve been relocated instead of scrapped it makes me so mad. I wasn’t much of an enthusiast in the early 2010’s
I never noticed, but Talon's first half looks extremely similar to Patriot. I just rode Patriot like a week ago, and it was super fun. Not the most forceful, but I liked it more than Banshee and Raptor (spoiler, I don't like Raptor that much). So I'm curious to see how I like Talon when I ride it later this year. It looks a little better, but no way it can compare to Great Bear, Flight Deck, Afterburn, or Alpengheist.
I think afterburn is barely an A tier ride. Sure its not as whippy as montu. But you want you know what the montu like afterburn has that montu doesnt. No mid course. Also afterbun is one of the few inverts were you want to front edge seats rather then the rear as the front is where you get the dragged feeling. But this time its a forceful push through the inversions. Which makes it just as crazy

@@WCfanboy same
finally someone metions the silver bullet airtime moment
You can thank my friend Deborah for getting that into my head lol
I love hearing that roar change during that straight section on Great Bear before the Immelmann
Great Bear doesn't roar, it sings
Great video. I love the descriptions and the cadence you speak with.
Thank you so much :)
This channel is so underrated. You deserve way more subscribers
Thank you so much 😊

It definitely warms up imo. More so than other inverts on this list.

IMO I prefer the foot choppers in the trenches. Those are pretty dope tbh
Fun fact: every B&M Invert I've ever rode is now sitting on a scrap heap somewhere (Nemesis, Fire & Ice) hopefully I never get to BGT. Great list btw
Stay away from Dragon Mountain then
Oh you're a diamondback stan too. Great taste I see. I'm weird on this one, but Diamondback>Fury. The best B&M.
Hell yeah fellow DBack stan, IDK if I would go THAT far to put it over Fury but I have it over Orion

Thank you so much! It really means so much to hear that from people, it keeps this channel going.
Also smh Great Bear is cracked it does need to warm up tho

Worlds of Fun is a pretty underrated park imo. It has a unique Busch Gardens-like theme to it that really separates it from any other Cedar Fair park.

It's a pretty standard B&M invert first half lol. I gave Patriot shit for the fun of it lol I'm sure it's actually a really solid ride.
Great Bear and Alpengeist are the more special Inverts in America

I only rode Alpengeist last year in October at night I absolutely loved it and besides the mid course I didn’t really care
It slaps
I only like Banshee because of the first drop
Please make a B&M hyper video
Maybe when I've been on more. I'm missing both Goliaths, Raging Bull, Behemoth, and Mako
@@thomasxl200 behemoth is really fun for sure one of the most underrated ones
ALPIE IS S TIER REGARDLESS OF MIDCOURSE (great video though)
Was that burp how you feel about Banshee
It was probably from the whiskey I was... gently enjoying while I made this video
aw man but banshee has such a cool sign though
No doubt that sign is sick
Putting Afterburn at B hurts my soul
Banshee not being S tier, video ruined!
Hey it could be in F tier
