My summer DIY, what I really like to finish is my bachelor's degree 😂
I remember that feeling, godspeed!
I'd love if you could do a video about athleticwear/sportswear! I feel like there is sooo much consumerism around clothes that ultimately you're just supposed to sweat in, and people feel the need to buy so many of them! I love that your run outfit is just a tee and shorts (mine is the same), but a lot of people feel the need to buy a whole new wardrobe just for working out, and I'd love if you could explore more!
OMG I'm so jealous right now. Tenacious D is one of the bands, that are always coming back to my playlist at some point. Would love to go to a concert one day 🤘
The painting is giving oriental vibes for me personally, loving it so far!
I love the new painting, the colours are soothing💖
thank youuu ✨I think so too!
I like the painting way more now
My current DIY project is repairing some broken plates with a kitsungi kit I got from my bf. Also this little raccoon person found a brand new pressure cooker on the street today!!!
I‘m planning on embroidering a holster bag/vest with a geometric pattern in different shades of green 🌿
We want a battle vest patch tour 😍
"There was a butt on it. I had to get it." 💜
Just before the video I got a temu ad 😒😒 greetings from Uruguay 🇺🇾
I used to think I wasn’t too bad at drawing etc and used to draw swans etc until a teacher started teaching me art I started believing I was no good. Same with my writing, which is why I’ve never written anything but I have two ideas for stories and may write one of them but I doubt I’ll let anyone read it. But who knows. Sometimes school has a way of stumping your creativity and expect it to be something else. But I recently discovered embroidery and heat erase pens and I design my own embroidery mainly as gifts it’s quite good for my mental heath x
The D, that's great, I love them and saw them live twice. I like the painting more the way it looks now 👌🏼
Love the peaceful aqua world of the new painting so much. Myself, I just got a new (to me, from Facebook Marketplace) bed and have decided that my bedroom overall needs a spring spruce up, so I'm making two rugs, one from yarn I already had, and one from flannel sheet hems left over from quilting. I use flannel sheets as quilt backs, but trim off the edges before binding. I had no idea what to do with the hems but have saved them for years because I couldn't bear to throw them out; and then I saw a UA-cam short last week by @doitdanna where she made a beautiful little rug from towel hems left over from her sewing projects. So inspiring!
At the end of February/beginning of March I got in crocheting and I have done hexagon granny square cardigan (which I tend opened up and unravelled again, cause I did not like my colour choices in the end), a pillow case, I started a project for a blanket with red/white skull granny squares (44 squares of 5cm so far and I want to make 200, lol). That skull granny square project is on hold right now. Past weekend I started getting into crocheting retro flower squares and I want to connect 4-5 of them with a zipper, a strap and make a body bag :) I love crocheting, you can see the progress so fast and it's such a great project to set your mind at ease. Enjoy Jack Black !!!
I started in December and I feel the same way about crochet🫶🏻
My diy's for the summer are a crochet mushroom chair and crochet hamsha pillow. The chair I finished last week and it looks awesome! Gnomes and fairies are awaiting a new home next to my bed.
The pillow is 70% done. Been working on it for several months. Who else us a crocheter? Any lefties here?
My mom just found a bunch of old canvases while cleaning out her basement so I did a fun little painting recently too. !00% agree on how therapeutic it is. I love how yours turned out, especially the little clouds!
Thank you! 😍 (also finding canvases like that is pure gold)
I am working on a new nature inspired picturebook! Painting children, trees, and grasses 🌱
Thank you for working with skillshare and for your course recommendation. I have signed up for the free trial AND have just spent an hour learning more about basic color mixing. So worth it!
Documenting my creative project to push myself to actually finish them could be a tagline for my channel🤣 it was one of the original ideas to hold myself accountable and go thrue my boxes of unfinished sewing projects, mending pile and also my fabric stash that I “collected” over some years. And I have to say it works, I finally (slowly but surely) go thru all of it and it brings me so much joy to finish my lil upcycling projects🥰.
I like your version of the painting. Also I would prefer the original hung in the other direction, that the paint strokes would run verticaly🤔
Just suscribed 😊
@@buffaloseye thank you so much🥰
Your food is beautiful and inspiring!
currently working on my first book its a process but I love what its about and its just ugh so tedious but I love whatever I write after I do it
Same! We are both valiant souls!
I like your sock mending mushroom😊, my mom has a wooden egg for mending socks. My 9 year old daughter loves mending socks 😂, she is always asking if anyone has socks with holes 😂. You look like you have had a great week ☺️. My husband and I are going to Lisbon for 2 nights, we are taking the bus, we have never used the bus and are interested to see how it goes 😊. Our daughter is going to my parents house with our cat for the weekend, she is going to help my dad plant sweet corn in the veggie garden, she is really looking forward to it 😁
I am knitting a cabled pull over. I just have the sleeves left!!!!
wow that's amazing!!
I don't have any projects going on currently, but I've decided to get back into crocheting soon! also, I personally prefer the painting with the blue added to it, not with just the beige. I like the idea of adding something to it later, though!
The painting turned out really good! I feel like a pink/orange sunset vibe could be nice for the background, the blue circle stood out nicely with your initial light brown background, which I quite liked, but it's really nice now too :)
My 5 year old loves Battle Beast - I absolutely love it when she asks me to watch Mama's music on Yup Yup, which i know she means Eden on UA-cam :)
I like the painting ❤
Oh wow, I can't wait to have your reviews on your Bob ! I've had one for the past few years, but the top-filling technique takes quite some time, and I think it gets smelly and dirty easily. I have to brush the removable bottom parts and the filter with an old toothbrush twice a month as they get quite gross easily. If you find an idea to keep it clean without using very chemical dishwasher cleaners/detergents, I'd take it. 🙏
In France we have refillable cassettes for the detergent we can send them back, which is very sustainable.
I'm sure you know this trick, as you have grown up with artists, but if you leave your paint water to evaporate, then you won't be adding the acrylics plastic to the water. I usually scrap out the dried out paint afterwards and out it in art/journals, so it doesn't go in the trash. :) For sewing through thicker things, I like to use pliers to help pull it through, works like a dream.
I just got a second hand tabletop dishwasher for my flat and it's brilliant, but yours is hilarious and niw I'm jealous 😂
I’m knitting a lace scarf for spring/summer ❤
I like your painting better! Love the palette. And I can't wait for the day when your cookbook is in English!
I'm making a pretty wrap top out of some promotional t-shirts from work
Yeah! I love your vlogs. Lots of love from Germany
Would you like to try Baklava, or maybe birds nest baklava? They look so pretty and you can put whatever you'd like in the nest.
Are those inset cups in those glasses… covers? If you flip them over, they could be lids to protect a lil tower of ice (non)cream sundae….
Yay top 247 and top 39 likes and comments. Best to you and your family. Thanks for making this video.
LOVE IT !
I'm working on a knitted granny square blanket for my aunt to donate to the dementia building where she lives.
I wish i was artistic but i'm not. My mom was very good at painting and sculpting🙂 I love to watch Bob Ross paint he is so calming and he makes it look so easy😄
Practise makes perfect, 100% 💚🌿 and yeah Bob Ross painting is so soothing ✌
I work on my allotment on my free time... nasty weed growing everywhere, it's basically a jungle😅 😊
"I'm trying to wing this with the confidence of a straight white man" the way this got me gagging 😂😂😂 What a mood
Yay
I love the process of creating art and I know that it can do wonders for my mental health, but there's always something holding me back. I'm always very scared of "wasting materials" when it comes to being creative, buying materials like paint brushes as well as using paint and paper. So I never get any further than drawing some doodles on my class notes. You really inspire me to find some bigger projects to work on. Do you have any tips on how to get started?
I have found so many second hand supplies in thrift stores and on facebook marketplace - brushes can be washed and canvases painted over, so I definitely recommend getting into it🌿💚
More and more cities have stores that take donations of unwanted art and craft supplies and resell them really affordably. I'm in the States and I've been to Art Surplus in Spokane and Scrap B-More in Baltimore. Worth looking to see if a nearby town has something like that!
I USE A BULB TO MEND SOCKS LOL
Tenacious D! \m/
How do you spell that hotel? Need to keep it in mind as I am planning to go to Copenhagen. Thanks Janne
Zoku, they have the same hotel and the same rooms in Amsterdam too.
@@giusyinwonderland2883 thank you.very helpful!
Looked into bob, sad they need dishwasher cartridges.
Guys please motivate me, I have been wanting to start a blog related to everything environmental but procrastinating it, helpp
Both of my brothers are artists and retired art teachers. You’re supposed to encourage creativity and not stifle it with what’s right and wrong.
My brain for the rest of this week after hearing that dishwasher.... ua-cam.com/video/i2OnZG6VnJk/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
