Hooray, more Chevelle is always awesome. Still some great ones you haven't gotten to yet, One Ocean as mentioned below, Mars Simula (and its video) with some amazing bass, Endlessly, Until You're Reformed (off the Daredevil soundtrack) and Joyride.
I started right here. First album. They sound a little different because it was produced by a very well known, cool Chicago based guy named Steve Albini. He produced Nirvana's In Utero. That's why I bought this CD. I was kinda looking for a new Nirvana and found a cool band that I still love.
You've done Saferwaters. You've done Jars. You've done Self-Destructor. You've missed One Ocean, the beautiful other song in the 'save the earth' quadrilogy.
I’ve seen UA-cam videos of them playing this live. The intro is not too long when you watch them perform it…extra Pete goodness 😂. I hope to see them do it live someday. ❤
Ooooo, I'm quite early 🥰 From Point #1, you could react to Prove To You. Alongside MIA and the title song, it's my fav from this album Shout out from Brazil o/
has a cool intro with guitars and drums sounds and rhythms their compositions get better and better with every one but this is a solid solid roclk song awesome ladies & gentlemen
Went to see my guitar teachers band play a show in the parking lot of Winthrop harbor hischool in Illinois back in like 97, and chevelle was just one of the a local bands playing it as well and they blew me away.
They played used to play Open->Point #1 to open their shows back in the Wonder What’s Next Tour. I saw them open for Disturbed at the House of Blues in 2003 and that’s how the show started.
My favorite album from Chevelle. Now that you have opened this box of goodies, I really would love you to hear the song Peer. Been requesting if for quite some time.
Yay! You got to not only one of my top 10 Chevelle tracks but also the track that started my Chevelle journey. Though their music became more polished and defined, nonetheless, it is still awesome to go back from time to time to listen to raw Chevelle.
I was waiting for so long, and the day finally has arrived,!!!! Point #1 is an excellent album ... ( I'm gonna wait for prove to you, peer, SMA, blank earth reactions). Great reaction!!!🤘🤘
Though I think Hats Off to the Bull is my favorite album (idk those songs just stick with me) Point #1 has a special place in my heart its just so good and where they started!
I never knew the aloe lyric LOL That's hilarious. I thought the video was going to be about you hating the song so Chevelle was going to need aloe from the burn, but this was even better.
Wonder What’s Next was my first album of theirs I listened to when it came out, made me listen to this album. Wasn’t super impressed by it lol Maybe if I heard it before WWN I would feel different but it just doesn’t hold up for me.
Happy 2024! Here's to another year of Chevelle! 😎

SMA off this album is a banger, too.
I think I just found another Chevelle song to add to my playlist. 😊

Fellow Chevellean here! This is a great album, very raw and underground. Clearly the band in their youth
