I made this last night. Absolutely delicious. I couldn't get out to get a rotisserie chicken so I boiled about 6 boneless skinless chicken thighs and cut them up. I also added 1 half can of evaporated milk. I just had some more today for lunch. Make it folks, it's wonderful for a cool fall and winter day.
Pepper belly Pete u are fantastic!!!! My dream fella❤ Keep those videos and delicious recipes coming buddy. I'm going to make this at the restaurant I work at tomorrow with some fresh pastry. Thanks from all of us for this great idea!!!
I've had many line cooks and restaurants chiefs say if you can simplify your meal prep then do it. Don't waste time making everything from scratch or chopping everything by hand if the cost to buy something pre chopped or pre-made is little to no different. Using a can of Pillsbury biscuits is no different than making them from scratch, all the ingredients in the can are the same as if you were to mix it all yourself and the cost averaging is about the same either way.
I love you videos on TikTok and you tub. Are you thinking about coming out with a cook book or sticking with videos? If you do let us know how or where we can buy one. I want to be the first with a signed copy. Lol! Keep it up your my favorite person to watch and I learn a lot from you
The smart answer is, one has salt, the other doesn't. I wouldn't use salted butter in this recipe due to the cream of chicken and chicken broth, which are super high in sodium content. At the end of the day, I feel it's better to use unsalted, as you can salt to taste.
Don't ever use canned soup or premade biscuits. Just cook whole chicken or use chicken bones. Make biscuit dough with self rising flour and milk. Drop spoonfuls of batter in broth cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Too easy.
@@Helloharley2323 Susan is right. Boil chicken breast in chicken broth, use Bisquick and make the dumplings and drop them in. Just as easy, and technically cheaper (nowadays) to do it the old fashioned way. I'm not knocking Pete's recipe, I wouldn't turn it down.
Canned biscuits and cream of chicken turn out great!!! Just don’t use flakey biscuits, it will ruin dinner! The only thing I do different is I boil bone in chicken thighs, pull and debone after 20 minutes and throw the bones back in and boil another hour to make a good broth...... I have been told by many it’s the best they have ever eaten! I like rotisserie chicken by itself, but I don’t like the flavor it puts off in soup.
@@ylp3able It was boiling. And the distintigrated as soon as they hit the soup!!! A co-worker said that there wasn't enough fat/butter/lard in the dough to keep it from disintigrating. So I made some with Bisquick the next time, and used plenty of butter. And they turned out perfect.
Why do you Always tell us to use unsalted butter but then you go ahead and use margarine? You do know they're NOT the same? Butter is made out of dairy and margarine is just salted,Colored and shaped Vegetable Shortening. I thought you might want to know that considering you're trying to have a cooking Channel. I'm sorry to call ypu out but it seems with ALL your recipes you're saying to put one thing in and you're putting another in its place, do you not understand how that'd Comfusing but is also False information. Other than that it looks good but Do better bro.

Had to watch this. We make this, in 3000Lb kettles. How does he make dumplings? Just asking
Can this be made in large batches and then frozen
My grandmaw would faint at them dumplings. She homemade em and dropped em in by the spoonful
That's chicken soup with dumping. 😆
I have no doubt it's delicious 😋
I'm making these bad boys tomorrow!!
Jarlic......Fresh
Good show thank you.
Why not put your new page on here? I don't have TicToc and I'm not going to.
My mom used tortillas 😊
OOOyaaa
Love the recipies is there a chance you could list the ingredients needed ? I realize you say them in the video but it might make it easier.
No Zippy Zap sauce?
Campbells soups are gross anymore. I use a whole chicken for the best flavor.
What’s the difference with salted and unsalted butter?
I would say if you used salted butter to omit some of the other salt maybe use mrs dash instead of seasoning salt.
Seems odd so many recipes call for unsalted butter then they add in what is most likely more salt than what the butter would have had.

Nothing
Can you freeze this or will the dumplings turn out funky?
Ok I'll try anything once
is there a way to print your recipes??
Lol,no way that's not real chicken dumplins,ur grammar woul slap ya!

I used canned biscuits to make my last batch, and they just disintigrated in the soup!!!
Don't stir
I dont.

Make sure your liquid is boiling before you add it.

Lazy!
Frozen dumplings, not refrigerated biscuits and cream of onion soup. English peas not carrots and celery.
you're fan fucking tastic sir
