"Real luxury companies don't refer to themselves as luxury" Great point, and something I've not noticed before! Just checked our website and though we describe our kitchens as bespoke and handmade, I dont think we directly refer to ourselves as luxury.
@@LuxuryAcademy Thank you. What are your thoughts on the use/over use of the word 'bespoke'? I see it a lot these days, and in our industry when used, most of the time they just mean the customer a can pick a colour and from a selection of handles vs something made truly bespoke to them where the choices are infinite
Yes it's becoming very overused. Everything is bespoke nowadays from package holidays to ice-cream combinations. A better word to use, especially in your case, might be handcrafted. Individually designed and one of a kind would be other descriptions I'd probably suggest.
@@LuxuryAcademyGreat point about “Real Luxury companies don’t refer to themselves as luxury”. Here is the U.S. with emphasis on major cities (I live in the Los Angeles area), the word “luxury” and “premium” are thrown around so much to the point of meaning nothing. It comes down to experience on an individual level speaking and acting like a human being to the client that allows for the experience to take hold of the client.
@@fredricklee 😂 You're right! Everything in LA has to be luxury doesn't it. But it's used more as a price indicator then a quality indicator. The idea being that many businesses believe if they slap the word luxury in front of something they can double thr price.
There is a Swarovski shop in the middle of Chamonix, and I often pop in to buy everyday earrings or Christmas presents. I rarely spend more than 200 or 300 euro and I realise that it isn't strictly a luxury brand, but the service I am usually provided is exceptional . I leave that shop feeling a million dollars. :)
And 100% you'd go back there because of that feeling would you. This is an excellent example of how important creating an experience is. Thank you for sharing it!
If I had $40,000, I would buy 100 bags on kislux instead of designer luxury items. The money can be a down payment on a house, but it can't just be a package.

That's very interesting, Ive never thought of Swarovski as more than a chain store but I suppose they do market the brand as more.

Good knowledge, but I swear that all these videos now have the exact same photos and video clips.
I hope not!
