70 yrs old and still blowing everyone's phukn mind! Incredible. Timeless.
Exactly!
Never mention a woman's age....
Okay, Jack. It was only referenced to showcase her timeless talent & beauty. Chill.
71 actually aha x
. . . if you can get past the awfulness.
She did this performance with double pneumonia! SHE IS THE QUEEN!
okay what !!!!!!!!!! thats so dangerous for her voice especially at her age the really isn't good for her health but dang girl still sounded amazing ALL MUST BOW BEFORE THE MIGHT OF QUEEN STEVIE / mama LION
I'm from Russia and only found out about Stevie Nicks through the American Horror Story series. I was attracted by her music and the meaning of the songs. Now in my playlist she is on par with Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion. How lucky the United States is with such legends.
Stevie will alway be the Queen, she melts my soul, alway did, always will!!!🌹❤
That’s why it’s so bad
Explains the lack of power. And she has maybe three good notes left. Very monotonal performance.
What a performance... especially considering the fact she was feeling ill and was hospitalized the next day. "I have compromised lungs," she told Variety. "The night of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, I knew before I went onstage that something was wrong with me, so I had to really pull it together. The next day I got really sick, and I ended up going into the hospital in Philadelphia for a week in ICU with double pneumonia and human metapneumovirus and asthma. Talk about your oxygen levels going down; my oxygen levels were hardly existing."
Oh Wow!! Poor lady. We could’ve lost her. I’m so glad she recovered. 😍
wow damn
Thank you for the news. When I looked at Stevie I sensed that all was not well with her and suspected death. But fortunately she is recovering. Let's hope that she pulls through this and comes out stronger.
Holy shit. What an unbelievable pro. So glad she pulled through, that could have gone very badly,.
Omg, I am glad she's ok
Since no one has done it here.....
I need to point out that the legendary Bryan May stood up to see this woman perform, that's a strong statement 😱
A phenom of the same era
Amen, brother!
100% correct....when one of the greatest guitarist to ever take a stage is standing...you know what your seeing is worth seeing!!!
That's Not Brian May XD
@@andresposada6868 Yes it is. Right at the beginning of the video. Look again.
Unlike so many of her peers and fellow inductees from previous years, she has aged so gracefully. And she still rocks!
Bob Jablonski
Sadly yes
So badass
So GORGEOUS. Mystical soul. I feel like I am a younger version of her.
Pray 2 meet her 1 day
Despite what she’s been through... truly extraordinary woman

She still has a really powerful voice even if she’s 72
witchy power
@@jerome5ify C'mon: Let's face it; her voice has lost 75% of what she had. She had NO vibrato (in any of the songs) and she skipped the "ooooyayayayayayaAH!", which is the apex of the song. Yes she sounds okay now and looks pretty good---considering the good plastic surgeons she has had. YES she will always have that charisma (in that special witchy way), and is an icon. But her voice was much worse than even 10 years ago! I hope maybe she was on an off day...
@@vwgolf6487 At this point she's 71 year old, i find this well done, given her story..look at Whitney Houston for bad aging/singing
@@jerome5ify Whitney wasn't AGE, its was smoking CRACK lmao. I laugh but its true.
JIMMY JOKER she's turning 72 this year! How exciting is that?
One of her best written songs. A song inspired by Tom Petty’s wife in a conversation years prior with Nicks about how she met Petty in high school at the Age Of 17. Due to Petty’s wife being from Gainesville Florida and having a thick southern accent, Nicks thought she said Edge of 17. Also, the White Winged Dove lyrics are in reference to her real first experience with death when her uncle died who she was close to at a young age. Powerful song.
Ben Vasilinda thank you friend
I thought I heard somewhere that white winged dove also referred to John Lennon passing. Not sure though.
@@lilbebegirlxx yes, John Lennon and her uncle passed around the same time.
Bella Figura oh so I wasn’t hearing things lol! Very interesting I love Stevie so much
@@lilbebegirlxx yes, her boyfriend Jimmy Iovine had been quite close to John working on a few of John's solo albums at the Record Plant in NYC during the 70's. He was very upset about John's murder. Stevie was the shoulder he cried on.
She was then inspired to write the second stanza "And I see you doing
What I try to do for me
With the words from a poet
And the voice from a choir
And a melody nothing else mattered". That's all about John Lennon and Jimmy.
The third and final stanza is about her uncles death. Being alone at the hospital when he died.
She is one of the last real female rock and roll singers of all time. There will never be anyone like her again.
Totally agree !
One of a band of very few
I wish we still had rock like this.
Ain't that so!!!
You, me, and everyone else!😎

@@girldownunder9043 Her new tracks brought so much joy to me knowing that it reminds me of these og rock songs
milo there's actually a remix with this song
People underestimate how hard this is at her age. She’s a vocalist icon. Keep rocking, Stevie.
Especially after singing her whole life
Its crazy that she's in her 70's still slaying with that attitude & presence on stage. She's a true rocker by heart.
Especially having Double Pneumonia in this performance!!
This video should give you an idea just the type of woman Stevie is, Those back up singer were around in the 1980's and Stevie knew they made her sound better and this is their reward. They're with Stevie over 30 years later. That's Class. I saw Stevie in 1984 and for those that were too young, She was awesome and paranormally sexy. OMG fuggin God, I remember every straight rock and roll dude on the planet wanted her. For the haters, Cut her some slack, She should have been dead many years ago with the life she lived and now she is in her 70's God bless her and Thank you for the great memories, Stephanie Lynn Nicks. . .
I'm not straight, and even I had teen fantasies about Stevie LOL That pretty much sums it up. Not just talking about her looks; it's her whole package. Incredible and mystifying performer!
The dark haired backup singer is Sharon Cellani who has been with her from early on when they met on Maui! Not sure of the other.
She is incredibly loyal to her background singers and musicians. One of her background singers is her sister in law!
@@oldrockr1557 the other is her sister in law
Love this comment
I grew up with her and 72 as well and always had a crush on her
My 24 yr old daughter loved her music and on Sept 26, 2019 she passed away in her sleep due to a rare, incurable, inherited genetic disease which her mom died in her sleep in 02 at 43. They both loved Landslide and played it at both funerals. I still cry when I hear it.
Stay strong brother
2.47 in the morning, and my heart is broken reading that . 😢
May they forever sleep peacefully x
🙏❤🙏
My heart to you! ❤️
I cry wile reading this at 1:45 at night. God bless you.
I'm literally weeping watching this. Such a powerful, amazing woman! She's the only one who knows what those songs are really about, and she still sings em with the same passion
Brian Robertson I love her so much. Soundtrack of my life. Well, her and the Stones. ❤️
Nancy l Same! I’m sure you’ve seen Heart’s performance of Led Zep’s Stairway to Heaven at the Kennedy Center Honors! 👏👏👏👏
ABSOLUTELY THE QUEEN OF ROCK & ROLL!
Dude same tears halfway through the song and her beautiful pictures on the wall behind her gave a very sad yet nostalgic feel to the show also seeing Bryan may queen in the audience made it more special these rocker are getting old and its a sad yet beautiful thing to see them still doing what they love.
@@rachaelwilbur5644 It took me a year to read your remark, but well said anyway. 💋

Love she gives respect to her background singers and musicians.
Sharon and Lori have been her background singers since the beginning. They sang on the original track!
Is same team from more 30 years
She’s kept them all throughout her career they sung on the original track , amazing lady
One of the all time best rock songs and one of the all time best rock legends. 👍👏👏👏
How is this even possible????? Seriously. She is a one of a kind. Never to be emulated. She is super human.
Funny you say that if you only knew
I know woman in their thirties who look older. And then she opens her mouth. She sounds as spectacular as always. :-)
Rocco Sophie but nothing on her is real .
@@1martuska I hear you but her voice is still so hypnotic. She slays us all.
Abracadabra actually she is hates plastic surgery, she was gonna have the hole in her nose fixed until she realized it was too much like plastic surgery and decided not to so it wouldn’t mess with her voice. she got botox once but hated it cause she couldn’t move her face. not every good looking older woman had work done.
Mouthfaceiswhatmyfriendscallme thanks for saying it
Paul Freelife well someone needed too :)
brian may, janet jackson and stevie nicks in the same footage is the best crossover ever
Aw ain’t she lovely? She brings tears to my eyes, I’ll be 70 in less than a month....she is a queen! ❤️💕💜💙

Saw Brian May out there in the audience! Cool dude another equally intellectual. Great musician.
Love this song. I went to the UK this age!!!!
She is, was, and always will be the Golden Goddess of Rock 'n' Roll!
@@summermcpherson8209tevie has a quality that Ann doesnt.
The moment that I first laid EYES ON HIM - the drum beat, words and her mad way of making dudes fall in love even when she will be 85 !
Stevie nicks at 70 she knows how to sing and this is my favorite song.
She is an absolute legend.
Still mesmerising and still beautiful.
Her bow at the end simply stunning, so gracefull and so Stevie Nicks.
That's when I felt goosebumps!!💋
Watching her and realizing that we've all gotten older made me a little sad, but proud at the same time. We've triumphed through adversity and our demons have been vanquished. Love you Stevie, keep on rockin'.
Love this comment ❤
The only rock diva worthy of the title.
All hail to Stevie. Saw her at Wembly last year with FM. Hope she comes back after covid19 is done.
Stay safe, stay healthy y'all
Talk about a legendary performance by a Legend !!!! This is a 'sit down and take notes kiddos, this is how it's done' moment!!! And still looking as beautiful as ever.
Amen brother..Could not put it better myself
No way is she over 70 years old and still smashing it with that voice 👏 👌 ❤
Their's no other artist who comes close to her mysterious, majestic , haunting voice and lyrical style . Always the whole band is just amazing.
Respectfully, Florence and the machine are a good comparison to modern day and Flo respects the hell out of and is inspired the the Queen Stevie :)
Everyone just remember this: this is Stevie Nicks on an OFF day. 👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️
Best comment!
I had always heard Mac's music when I was a little guy, because they were one of the REAL rock acts to rule radio in the 70s....you couldn't go thru a whole day without hearing them SEVERAL times. But because I was a funk/blues/r&b junkie, as a kid, I didnt lean on their music....they were just unavoidable because they were so good. I went into the military in the late 80s, I wound up in a fighter jet squadron, where most of the guys I became buddies with, were from the MidWest, Florida and the West Coast...every last one of them, to the tune of 40 or so guys, were VERY WELL VERSED in Mac and Stevie. And thats when I went to 'Fleetwood Mac School'. I had a lot of catching up to do, regarding their material...but over the course of 8 yrs in the Marine Corps, I did it. My intro to Stevie, to solo act, started with the Bella Donna album..it was the album that a buddy of mine from that squadron (Mark Meiner) played for me on his stereo system one Sunday after noon in his barracks apartment...and the pure, raw "witchery" that she put in that album, has made me a devout fan of hers, ever since then. As solid as her entire catalogue is, Bella Donna is one of the greatest rock albums of all time..start to finish.
She's still breathtaking l am speechless l can't find anymore words to describe this wonderful, beautiful Stevie l feel so lucky to live in her era because we get once in a tthousand years a woman like her
Me too!
When you also factor in the drugs she abused in the past, how she can still perform like this is beyond me. AND she was ill during this performance. Amazing.
Stevie Nicks and Heart in concert together would be rock on fire 🔥
Ugh I’ve been thinking about this too!!! Yaaass 😍 that would be so freakin awesome
Greetings from The Emerald Isle 🍀☘️🍀 100% spot on - Ann and Stevie - unreal 👌
Summer McPherson Why do so many of y’all hate on heart? I don’t get it, they are badass and made timeless songs.
right! to bad ann and stevie have a little drama
May I take it a step further? I don't know why women of rock have not been showcased together? Stevie and Heart of course. I'd add Pat Benetar, Chrissy Hynde, Joan Jett, Debbie Harry. An 80's women of rock show. I'd go see every show.
We drove all night on a Sunday night from Ottawa to arrive in Toronto the next day to see Fleetwood Mac at the Exhibition Stadium. But really, it was to see Stevie. After the show, Monday night in 1977-(07-04) we drove home again. Unforgettable!
Surely one of the greatest guitar riffs EVER!! Stevie is the Queen of Rock and Roll
It has been a perfect playing for me having a lovely and awesome Fan like you, thanks for your love, I have you mostly to be thankful for💕💕💕💞💞💞💞💕💕💕💞💞🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

This is the GREATEST woman of rock. ICONIC and LEGENDARY are mere words used to describe her. I can’t believe she is still so amazingly beautiful and that her amazing voice is still there.
If I live to be 71 I can't imagine as much energy as Stevie does!!
I still get the chills!
The spin she did filled me with so much joy and happiness !
I love Stevie Nicks! She's my biggest role model! I'm only 14 but I've been listening to her music for as long as I can remember. I know that one day I'll be the next woman induced! Stevie will forever be the Queen of Rock and Roll! We love u Stevie! ❤️
This godess will never stop rocking, even when she passes her energy will release into the atmosphere and make the planet vibe
God damn how is her voice still that good
She is a amazing. Has aged gracefully. A great Icon and I just love this song.
Wow! I was NOT expecting this to be so good! And how she ended it! Amazing!
Still Rockin' after all these years. What a beautiful woman and still an amazing voice!
DEEPEST EXCELLENT SONG ! !
Her voice with her lyrics are perfection!!! Superb singer/songwriter.
"I know what it sounds like When Doves Cry", is an homage to Prince. I had just read a quote from Stevie Nicks saying she ended her performances of this song with that line because she and Prince had inspired each other on their respective songs. I came to this performance,, and sure enough, she finished her song with that line.
Listening to this still in 2024 and no one today has a patch on Stevie Nicks
One of my favourite tracks of all time unbeliable how she still sounds the same at 72
What an Amazing woman Stevie Nicks is way ahead of her time they dont make em like her no more
I first heard this song while sitting in the hairdressers & it remains one of my favourites. This performance is awesome - she's in her 70's AND she pulled herself together to perform despite feeling really unwell - she was hospitalised straight after with double pneumonia. Now that's a real trouper!!
Love the nod to her bestie Prince at the end!
Stevie Nicks 71 and Waddy Wachtel, 72. Simply great powerful musicians.
I feel incredibly lucky to have been brought up on Stevie Nicks. Favourite female artist by a mile
I still have a crush on her after all these years and she got me by 20+, amazing musicians they all were but she had some fire burning inside of her….
Damn this sounds great!!! The guitarists, the voice, her back up singers. She earned that shit!!!
This song means a lot to me because I heard her for the first time when I was 17 and now I'm almost 21. Sometimes I feel sad because I wish I had known her so much before then :( she is SO important in my life, she's always there in my daily life with her music, voice, lyrics that made my soul full of joy.
I also heard the song at the age of 17 and I'm still a fan at 56!! ❤
Well i was a young tot when i first heard her because of my mom, but i feel the same way about her, she's a huge part of my everyday life .and im 28 now
I discovered Stevie Nicks in 1977 when I was 16 years old. Everything about her is magical. Welcome to the room, darling.

Truly lengindary, I remember being in love with her voice when I was in High school. God bless you..thank you for sharing with us your music and beauty...
Have you noticed how Waddy Wachtel pays attention to Stevie? He's closely following her every step, both out of the genuine concern and also to match the music with her. It's so refreshing to watch that kind of affection between the musicians.
Honestly I got tear in my eyes watching this
Wow she rocks. I never knew how sick she was during the hof. She went to the hospital right after the show. True legend.

@Dra6onfly yea, its called, "I'm full of myself! "....I love my children but watching them grow up in this generation I see a side that I don't like at all. They're entitled, they think they're better than everyone & although ive raised them to not judge others im shocked at all the bullying that goes on! Especially online.
