Colors* Unleashed did a good job setting the gameplay for 3D Sonic, except it had a lot of flaws concerning the Werehog Colors refined that formula and made it better Generations refined it yet again and perfected it Lost World then, tried to go back to the Adventure days and did a good job imo And now Forces looks like its going to have the Unleashed gameplay, combined with Heroes and Mania Sonic has been back to life since a while ago my dude
I love the way the Asian girl reacts. She seems so genuinely excited, happy, and hyped when playing. You could really see the joy of first exposure to Sonic. Mania is a GREAT first foot in the door, it's probably one of the best Sonic games of all time.
I honestly suck at 2D Platformers but Mania is really beginner friendly with a Character like Tails (I learned to love this character. So cute and cool) and the option to turn of the time limit. I had a great time with that game.

SubjectULTIMA yup. Same nearly happened to me. I grew up on portables starting with the gameboy pocket because TV consoles were forbidden. Then I nearly died when I turned 12 and my dad bought me a Gamecube with Smashbros and Metroid Prime and preordered WindWaker. Heh. I'm ever-grateful for that.
I'm of the same generation as these people (I'm 31, have a fiancé and daughter) and if I was in this video, I would have been like "I already know this game", I'd probably have more info on it than the uploaders. I expected noticeably worse, to be most honest. They caught onto most things pretty quickly. And they didn't react too late. So yeah, i don't think they're terrible. Mind that they don't really play much vidja games (right?)
As a Sonic fan, I am happy to say that this is the reason I think Sonic Mania is the best Sonic game in years. Because it is accessible to both new and old comers to the series. This is something no Sonic fan I have talked with really sees when it comes to this game. The most alienating part of the game was welcomed by most of these players.
PTony Oliver I own the Xbox One version, actually. XD There is no difference between versions, from what I have heard, so that is really a matter of console preference. Would you be able to play on the go with the Switch? I have no experience with the Switch. I have heard a couple of really cool things about it.

Watching other people play certain games badly stresses me out. Same when you guys do a fighting game like Street Fighter. And they think that bit in Chemical Plant is hard? Barrel of doom in Sonic 3. See how long they take to figure it out. That said, I loved seeing Emily's reaction to this, as someone who didn't play these games as a child. Plus, she's gorgeous.
