theres something so exciting about getting to watch your main or your favorite character being played well in a professional competitive setting, i lose my mind everytime i see someone pick gravekeeper or professor in tournament. its something i really love idv for, because while its sweaty enough for players to care about meta and such theres also just so many good characters and stories you can focus on too. thanks for the awesome video as always zeez!

I've recently been getting into playing melly and she IS SO COOL, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HER! My art lately has been filled with just her, I love her designs a lot to as well ❤ Love too see that Melly gameplay 🐝
7:50 fun fact : it was not just for Smiley they also did it for forward football, mercenary elbow pads and any other survivor/hunter that struggled with high ping. So you can say they finally FIXED their ping (kind off lol). It's smooth like butter while using their skills even at 300+ms red ping for anyone wondering. I've tested them all myself. Another fact : elbow pads used to give you less and less distance the higher your ping is. For example 100-150ms reduce it by a little bit not much. 200-250 or more ms reduced the distance upto around 50%. At red ping well you don't need to know (you get like 20% distance meaning you lose out on 80%).

@@LawOfSlay i guess i forget we are in 2024 now so it was more than a couple years ago atp LOL which is kinda crazy but yea it was like around when she first released (so 2020 i think ?) she was pretty broken but iirc she got nerfed and stuff too
@@LawOfSlay sorry i think i was off a little bit i think it was like mid 2021 she was S tier because on release she was average and then she got a huge buff a bit afterwards that made her super good, but yea. also iirc this was back when axe boy was still like a top hunter before his nerf and before the meta shifted and melly is a super hard counter to axe boy because her bees cancel his souls so i think that made her more meta as well. (i am an axe boy main and i remember raging so much when i had to play against her like every other match LOL) i am way better about following tournaments and stuff these days though so i dont totally remember how she was used in tournaments back then, i just remember she was everywhere and at that top of lots of tier lists (like around season 15 or 16 i think, we’ve come so far lol)
I'm happy we see more characters on each sides other than the same 3 every match(opera, nw etc and Ik why they have to play them but it's kinda boring to watch imo) Anyway Great Commentar on ur part
