- In 1978, Tom T. Hall contacted Maxine and Bonnie Brown hoping they would accompany him and lend their vocal talents to his upcoming RCA LP "New Train, Same Rider". The Browns eagerly accepted Hall's invitation. The day of the recording, Hall and his wife Dixie surprised The Browns and the production staff with yellow t-shirts that read: "The Browns Are In Town and Tom T's Got 'Em". The Browns vocals are featured on both hit singles from the album and several other songs as well. *Lyrics Below*

I got to see the Browns (all 3) many years ago in Cleveland Tn..Frank Clement was running for reelection as governor and he brought the Browns and the Wilburn Brothers with him.'Twas a great show..

You're welcome! This is the original vinyl version of the song, in fact, the only version Tom T. has recorded. I have every song Tom T. has ever recorded, even the songs from the album he released in the UK only, on my hard drive in digital format. I uploaded one of the songs from his UK album here on You Tube and it is titled "Say Something Nice About Me". I will be uploaded more Tom T. videos and videos of other Country Music artists in the months to come.
