- Whelp, now that Benjamin made the move south, I figured what the hay? Might as well head up to his old neck of the woods, and take a poke around, at some of the puddles, him and I used to fish. I didn't bring my "A Game", but I did end up catchin' regardless. PAAA POWWW!!!

I have driven by this spillinway before and wanted to fish it, but I was on the clock when I was doing gutter. Might have to check it out sometime. Looks fun as hell.

We use "tabi" to navigate slippery rocks and terrain on the coastline. Works great for stuff covered in algae like that spillway.
That spot looks like a pain in the ass to fish.
If you've not made it to Western KY , you should try Kentucky lake and Barkley , especially below Barkley dam , excellent walleye , stripers and wipers and white bass also very large catfish.
Its where my PB came from , 58 lb blue cat and biggest fish ever was a 78lb silver carp. Give it try !

Smaller bait will catch smaller bluegill 😉. Cut the gulp down a bit so the smaller ones can eat it. Love your vids!

I had one of those days today. I went fishing all weekend with my cousins and we caught 20-25 fish a day for three days. I tried to take my dad fishing today and we caught 2 bass. We where fishing in the same spots or same type of spots with the same baits and idk what’s going on. At least we had nice weather.

Hey fam have you guys ever tried usin crickets for bait in the creeks and spillways..down here in Chattanooga they work pretty fuckin universally for bluegill, bass,and catfish..jus a thought....oh yeah go fishin for arrowheads in some of those fields and creek banks and river banks..good luck and happy fishin to yall

If you go down the side where you park under the bridge you’ll get a better angle instead of fishing from the actual spillway. Place is damn slippery
You missed those fish cuz you’re swinging with a circle hook, they’re designed to go to the corner of the mouth you’re just supposed to reel down into em and the hook does the work for you
It's an octopus circle, so some set doesn't hurt. First one I didn't pull hard enough, third one drag was loose. Piss poor performance, I agree. 😂
