- WE'RE BACK BABY!!! Two years ago, I had an awesome flathead season.. Last year? Not so much.. Gunna be the main target this year boiz and squirrels, at least until I give up. Not only are flatheads my favorite fish, but catching them on artificials is the peak. Lets start the season of with a bang and stuff. PAAA POWWW!!!

I'm going to guess around 38lbs. It looked slightly smaller than the flathead you caught on Ben's boat a good while back. In any case, it's still huge for that river that looks like it wouldn't hold anything that big. Way to go Stacheman

seriously, i know the sensation from musky fishing. With big musky you are just along for the ride, other fish you can just turn thier heads, up above that 15lb range its an actual battle.

I think we can all agree it's a damn big flathead! Good job landing him. Although the old adage "big bait, big fish" is often true, it's not always the case. I'm going through a very difficult time in life and I'm trying to watch fishing vids to help me through another night. Vids from you, Ty, and Murda are keeping me grounded. Fishing has always been my anti-depressant but never more than now. Thanks bud and take care.
