- POV Response to a camper on fire with structures in danger. One concern we had while responding was surrounding counties were under a red flag warning due to high winds and dry conditions and it was a particularly dangerous situation due to the fact the camper was close to a residence.
Damn! The sound of that engine! Brings back old times of driving a crown Vic! 😁
Everyone (including criminals) knew that familiar engine sound.
Great response. Man I need a crown vic in my life.
Get one now before they become classics.
I love my Vic, I highly recommend
Great use of tones and gas pedal haha. Salute out and stay safe my brother.
This makes me very excited to be a volunteer firefighter I hope 🤞🏻
Am a volunteer firefighter here in eastern Kentucky
You should.
Here in North Carolina I want to be a volunteer firefighter when I get older
Vollies Cant run sirens in NC sadly😕
that crown Vic sounds amazing man
Makes me miss my white crown vic
I had a black 01 vic an man do i miss it
@@Atalanta. yea they are bad ass cars. Now I got a lp5 duramax and she does just fine lol
Great video the only thing i see is the 7mins to get to the fire house now to the fire ??
I love the video, I was wondering what kind of dash cam do you have?
It’s a GoPro Hero 5 session
Nice V8 sound
Always have loved the CVPI sound. I mean the Chargers are nice and have more power, but something about the old CVPI sounds so great.
DAMN that motor sounds healthy!
Nice video, keep 'em coming please
Man you were wide open. It seems like you guys have a large district to cover.
God I love the Crown Vic engine and trans sound. I love flooring it sometimes but it guzzles gas 😂
God i love sound of that vic.
The only problem with videos like this... you get to the end, and "And then what happened?" LOL But I endjoyed watching it though.
Man my state won’t let volunteers use sirens, we just get blue lights and that’s it. Chiefs can run red but nobody else.
is this in lexington ky evan or where brother?
You are allowed to run lights and sirens before you are called ?
Thank u for ur service from a brother in the fire service
That v8 hell yeah
I'm a volunteer firefighter here in my town we don't use lights and sirens I don't know why but we still get to the scene or fire department
What's the reason you don't us them
My question is just because you “heard” that another district, agency or department was getting toned out to a call what gives you the legal right to run code?? If you are in your POV and running code without your direct station being paged you are commuting so many crimes it’s bot funny. And being your driving a Crown Vic to a Fire Call, I’m betting this is a personal rig.
good video, wish we could see one at night. new subscriber
gonna become a firefighter when I hit 18
lexington ky?
Crown Vics are nice. But with the Gas Tank so close to the Rear bumper. If you get rear ended. That tank can open up and lead to a vehicle fire causing injury or Worse. Just speaking facts. I love Vics too.
Not true. It’s above and to the rear of the rear axle. The P71 Crown Vics are rated for a 70 mph rear end impact that can be survivable. They’re tanks. I love my 99’
Also the P71 has a automatic fuel pump kill switch if anything is to happen it will shut off the fuel pump and everything else. I owe a 04 P71.
They got that to title from the square body Vic's, the new body style is alot safer, anything can happen tho. Mine had an auto kill system and some of them even have built in extinguishers
Camper Fire with Exposure's
You would have got there faster with a Tesla.
Wide open road, no traffic
Keeps siren on.....
In most states it’s a law that is strictly enforced that if your lights are on the siren has to be too
Yes, that is the case for Tennessee
@@SkateJammer88 - Same here in New Hampshire.
@@SkateJammer88 I thought tennesse quite allowing lights and sirens on povs
@@chrisborders5845 It depends on what your protocol is but the state allows all volunteer fire, ems and rescue to run POV as long as the county/city allows it
