  • This two-day project was a fun one. Our client had recently gotten a turf yard installed, and the contractors completely blocked up any drainage from the channel drain around the pool, which resulted in a flooding patio!
We came in, removed the turf, and installed a drainage system that would take care of the channel drain, the yard, and the downspouts from the gutters as well. Come along and learn some tips and tricks on how we worked our way through one of our trickiest installs yet!
Check out our channel for more exterior drainage content and how-to's!

What a Great job! I have been binge watching your channel. Really enjoy seeing your work! I am jealous of the ground you have to work in. I am up in the Northeast where the ground is all rock! Its a Pain in the Ass just to put in a mailbox post!

We are both from the hillcountry in Texas, so we know the pain! Sometimes, we would take that limestone over the dense clay here! Thanks for watching!

I noticed the customer's blue hose that they use to backwash their pool weekly. That could be 60-80 gallons along the ground. Maybe it runs alongside the house and into street.

Another usles pop up emitter, Dirt & debris can't go UP a 90° elbow and will fill up the pipe and clog it.

There shouldn’t be that much debris making it to the end of your line… how many of these have you installed?

Pop up emitters use pressure to disperse water, furthermore small debris can escape. There isn’t a pop up emitter in this world that doesn’t need maintenance. They have mentioned that in their videos. Also pop up emitters are better than an open grate which harvests mosquitoes and other pests.
Keep up the awesome work fellas!

Do y'all ever do work in Brandon area? I may need some help down here.
Also when you are hand digging under all the pool lines at 7:01, I have a tip for you, try using the Amerimax gutter scoop! It's the perfect size to get in there. I was working on mine and needed to grade some high areas; it was all sand, so the plastic gutter scoop worked out great!

@@SheilaSpencer1 we do not, working on franchising soon!
I wish we could do that here, but it’s solid clay in our area.
