I took off my dome light pulled it real tight glued it just in that section and put dome light back on and it worked. Looks great. This was easy compared to video if only back half is sagging. This was on a 4th gen t top Firebird.
In my experience once the material is sagging and you try and Reglue using the adhesive I use in shop it bleeds through. If you use aerosol adhesive, one good warm day will come loose again. I hope it stays up though. Good luck bud
Man you would not believe the difficulty I had trying to leave a comment on the suburban I just watched. I was going to tell you if you can hardly keep those are all Chevy's down. Little cleaning up that she'll be a nice daily ride. I guess it's unplugged on to this video with red Camaro watch it now lol. God bless
Hey buddy, idk what’s wrong with it I’m new to doing this UA-cam gig myself so I’ve messed something up on commenting and stuff but I have a few squares and others I’ll be introducing to my channel but this one was by far one of the easiest! Having an issue with my choke currently but the other video is almost done.. stay tuned and I appreciate the comment also have a few how to’s planned too
That was a standard gray headliner material, should be able to pick up at your local fabric store. Make sure to get the older style headliner.. newer looks like it has a design or holes and it doesn’t do well with stretching around curves and in dips.
I use a DAP weld wood contact adhesive. I’ve never personally had good luck with aerosol spray adhesives. It looses its bond when heat is applied and the weld wood works great. It’s pretty expensive though
I got a Z28 as my first car. I’m not very mechanic savvy with it. When I looked under the hood I saw a part missing from the AC because the end of the tube was not connected to the unit. Kinda like a bushing or seal was missing, what do you recommend I do? Or where do I go to find a part for it?
just picked up a 95 T Top camaro, the headliner is toast. Thanks for sharing, informative video.
Goodluck!

What color was the replacement headliner? Just basic grey? Thanks for the video!

Does that DAP weldwood cement dry hard? Is the headliner brittle to the touch under the fabric after it dries?
this is very simple process the way you do it. I have to rip out my headliner and restore mine and change up the color. lol #4thgenproblems
Goodluck buddy, take your time and you’ll do fine.
What was the Spray? Was it a prime?

Go to your local junk yard. You’ll usually find about 2-4 gen 4s at any yard in my experience
