After hearing a few MSC reviews I do not think I will be cruising with them. Food is really important to me and the entertainment did not sound great. Thank you for taking time to do this review.
I don’t understand why people keep saying this…my advice is try it yourself. I’ve been on MSC more than any other cruiseline and I’ve loved it every time. Actually, I didn’t like the food on the Carnival cruise (complimentary restaurants). We had to do specialty each night because the included restaurants were no good. And I’m not very picky with food but Carnival just didn’t cut it 😩 On the other hand, MSC had amazing food and there was no need for us to pay for food…the cruise is gorgeous (really luxurious). So I advise you to have your own experience. People don’t always share your own opinions about a lot of things…

@@nancysmall9793 ok that makes sense. MSC caters to a very diverse crowd, which is why I like them so much. But again, the food is fantastic. I’m honestly not sure why people complain about MSC and not Carnival…I was very disappointed but I’ll still go back on Carnival because it could just have been a fluke. But I just love cruising so hope your next one is enjoyable!! ☺️👏🏼
I sailed with MSC for the very first time and on this ship for my birthday right before COVID started in 2020. Had a great time! For the price, I will certainly sail on this ship again if I like the itinerary. Food was fine. Entertainment was fine. Price was great. Cabin was good. Ship was nice. Cant wait for my next cruise!

UPDATE: Went on a 5 day cruise with them the second week in January to the Bahamas & had a BLAST! i didn’t deal with any of the sale pitch (thinking bc our boat was pretty full, 4K on). I really enjoyed MSC & def will be sailing with them again. I will say i dealt with a handful of inevitable racial… inconsistencies 💀 but that’s really anywhere! they not finna stop me from having a good time 🤣

@@LisaSoulLevelHealing We actually loved it! And have been on twice since. Once you get past the sales pitches, those drink packages are actually the best at sea and the best bang for your buck. I still highly recommend booking it before getting on the boat, or looking for a deal that includes one of the packages. The cruise line still has some European to American preferences they need to switch, but the entertainment, and the private island are really awesome. Looking forward to checking out the boat out of Miami. Also really looking forward to seeing what they bring in the future as they are trying so hard to compete with carnival, royal, and Norwegian.
@@laurencorley2153 i honestly chose the MSC meraviglia bc it was so cheap for the 7 day itinerary for $1400 for 2 (private island, bahamas, costa maya, and cozumel) versus royal caribbean being $1300 for a 3 night cruise to their island and the bahamas for 2.
I appreciate your honest review and agree with your thought process on specialty dining. We also prefer to enjoy the “included” dining options when we cruise which are usually good.
Thanks for the honest review. I think I’m going to sit this one out. The reviews I’ve seen so far are pretty consistent. The only thing that appealed to me was the balcony upgrade. Good food is really important to me.
Wow everything you guys said was on exactly what I said about this ship 😃. For me the most annoying part was being overwhelmed by the crew as soon as you board with selling these drink/dining packages. We absolutely do not pay extra for food when the MDR has many options and the buffet. The food at the buffet was okay but definitely not that many options. The beach party on the island was my favorite. I'll definitely book again with MSC just to explore their other ships.

I am the msc merav as I type. First day, first few hours. I am a foodie and gotta I wasn’t looking forward to sailing with msc after reading these reviews. The food tonight (buffet was fantastic’), seafood paella, pizzas cooked perfect, great salads. The ship is beautiful! We have been on 20 ships never msc. This ships designer made it stunning! Lots to do and see… we are currently at the rock show will comment on that when over…. Rock and roll show 7/10. Compare this with Caribbean or Mexican resort shows and this is a 10
Your experience sounds nothing like my experience on Meraviglia but then again I went pre-pandemic. I found the experience to be refreshing because it wasn't like every other cookie cutter ship from Carnival, NCL etc as far as entertainment. I loved the shows and the fact that yes they incorporated opera and other aspects. Will agree the food didn't change as much from day to day but it was on par with other cruise lines in this day and age. Cruise ship food quality has declined so much over the last couple of decades. The LED dome show being short must be because of the pandemic. When I was on it was easily 30 minutes and then ran straight into a full on DJ party that was so packed you could hardly walk thru the mall area top or bottom that went on for at least an hour. The ship is absolutely beautiful. I also had booked last minute before and was assigned a handicapped balcony room so my balcony was huge. I am booked on it again in January so am curious to see the difference now.
Great review and appreciate the transparency. Side note: didnt know you are travel agent 😊, but coming from someone who works with MSC as a client of mine, I do know that there is a learning curve there as they are entering and understanding the US market. I do think over time, things will improve
Same here. My party of eight and I just returned from Meraviglia and it was fantastic. We were ALL raving about the food. For the life of me, I can't understand the bad food reputation that MSC gets. I've done 3 cruises with them and have several more planned. Food is HIGHLY subjective however. Let me just say, I would hate to be the chef preparing menus for thousands of people with thousands of different food preferences.
I also had amazing time . The food in the dining area was good We did not have any bad experience with the food. It was great I was going in expecting the worse the worst Because I have seen so many bad reviews on the food I was really nervous But I must say the food was tasty it did have seasoning and it was great and I enjoyed it in the dining area. I have Carnival cruise line mostly and have done 70 cruises And I must sand I must say yes these are 2 different type of ships. But I did love MSC so I will be repeating And I love that they match your status from your other cruise lines We got free steakhouse dinner and it was amazing.

Thanks for your review... Our family just got off the Meraviglia and we loved it! Yeah, the food is hit and miss but our kids (4 and 7) just love the kids club and BONUS, kids sail free on MSC! BTW, cost PPPD is the lowest of all our 14+ cruises AND it was a family aft balcony.
I have taken two MSC Cruises in the past few years and I am totally sold on MSC. My friend and I were kindly greeted when we were boarding the ships and these ships were absolutely over the top beautiful. The prices are amazing and I would always give them a positive review.

I loved MSC I cruised on the meraviglia and davina enjoyed both The pizza is good because they are an Italian cruise line.If you want a quiet relaxing cruise with quality food and a beautiful decor go with MSC It can be romantic and cozy. Plus they have good white parties thier private island.
I love MSC Seaside! We booked the Bella experience with the Easy drink package. I liked the food in the dining room. It was not RCCL or Princess quality but It was good. Also, the bread and pasta is made fresh and there is less salt in the food. We paid for the steak house and a wine tasting which was beyond fantastic. Loved the spa, did a treatment there and enjoyed the sauna’s and whirl pools. Shows were very European so there’s that but the parties were out of the world fun. Give MSC another shot with or without the YC. Plan to spent a little bit for one or two speciality dining restaurants and eat a few more meals in the MDR. It is a relaxing ship most days but the party goes late into the night 🥂.
I just got off from the Meraviglia (February 12, 2023). I found the main dining room food outstanding. I was on the NCL Breakaway and I found the food on the Meraviglia was much better. I was on the Meraviglia three years ago and yes, the food in the main dining room was monochrome but now it is a big winner.
Hello, we just went to the MSC Meraviglia 13:49 , and my family didn't like it. We had to pay for the umbrellas on the beach. Like you stated, the food was ok, and I had loyalty numbers, and they wouldn't look it up or it would not come up. Other ship's the food stayed out until 2:00am They even have food when you're watching a movie like a snack. I was really disappointed in this ship. And yes, the port when you're signing in. They do need to, and there wasn't a lot of workers to transport the people in wheelchairs from the port to the ship. The guys that handle the luggage messed up a couple of family members. Some of the staff members were nice. The drink package was a waste. And I rule it was cold the whole time we was on a trip. And the private island people were getting bit by jellyfish and the fish that were in the water. We might try another msc ship line, but not this one. Thanks for sharing.❤💙

We just got off the Meraviglia last night, and I agree with everything you said. LOL @ the curtains on the cruise ship! I hate to see those as well - they never need to come back!!! 🤣😂 Looks like they hire singers to do the Motown show because they had a lady doing it this time and I agree, it really wasn't good. LOL! Hi guys,We were on that ship during labor day weekend.It was 17 % full. This is not a party cruise but if your looking to relax this is the ship. Best part for us is when we were on the private Island and we found an empty cabana and we hung out there for free all day.No one saw us and we loved it lol. The food at the buffet was okay and the food at the main restaurant was okay as well.

I sailed on the Meraviglia in October 2021, and I agree with pretty much everything you guys said. Also it was a good choice that you guys skipped the specialty dining option, bc it was by far the worst specialty restaurants i've ever went to on any cruise line. That really disappointed me, bc i always look forward to the specialty dining restaurants when i cruise. The main dining room had better food tbh. The pizza on the ship was the best i've had on any cruise line though. But that's not enough to get me to come back. MSC is probably a one and done for me. I'm gonna stick with NCL and RCL.
Great review, very thorough. We sailed on the MSC Sesaside in 2019 and had a similar experience. We definitely ate more pizza than we normally do. The Seaside is a newer mega ship so the decor, and accommodations were beautiful. We were booked to sail on the MSC Grandiosa in 2020 but had to cancel due to Covid. Will definitely cruise on MSC again.

Oh boy. Greet me with a smile and welcome aboard. A complimentary drink. Direct me to food. 🤣. It’s ashamed because their ships are gorgeous. Ok. Larger balcony. Dated room. Locked the mini bar. 🤦♀️. I agree. If we do speciality dining, it’s for a bday, graduation, anniversary. Otherwise there are enough options to choose from to avoid speciality dining everyday. 🤔. Jay from Shiplife if I remember correctly said the same. A lot of Latin music instead of mixing it up. You would think there would be copious complimentary umbrellas. Limited food. At least the light show was fab. Off the topic, but I love the way your husband looks at you when you’re talking. 🥰. Yesss to the transparent review but your review is pretty similar to what so many other Vloggers has said. Maybe try the Seaside. It takes more than a beautiful ship. Thanks so much. MSC consistently gets down checked on the food. It's not like they're charging less, either -- pretty much comparable to Carnival or RCL. Especially these days, when so many cruises are marked down.
Hi, I believe I was on the same ship and time as you two. There were 670 people on the ship and we had total freedom with no big crowds. There were 2 additional dining areas that were free of charge and the only other comment would have been that the island stay could have been 1 day and Nassau 2 days. There really was not much to do on the Island, but I guess I live in Florida and see Beaches all the time. Anyway wish I had met you on the ship you guys seem like you would be fun. Thx

Thanks! So it appears the hardware (ship design, the LED dome, etc.) is great but the software (the food, the show, etc.) are inferior. This cruise line has a steep learning curve to cater the North American market!

My wife and I just sailed on the MSC Mariaglia in nov.2022 it was our first sailing on any ship.we flew into Orlando Airport then had to travel 50 miles to get to Port Canaveral we had a lot of other passengers loading at same time.the only problems we encountered loading was the fact my wife has a pain pump inserted under her skin every time we went thru x ray Machines she got patted down,even with her card stating she had pump.but altogether we had a great time ,they need to have a better food change up at buffet and the hidden cost got us good,they were not expected and we were on a budget.120.dollars in hidden fees,tips for unseen employees.but all together I enjoyed the trip and am planning another but also knowing a bit more this time
Was on MSC a few months ago, Seashore. Didn’t disagree with what you said, we didn’t dislike the cruise, just wasn’t in love. The food just brings the whole experience down. My husband and I would try MSC again, our 13, 15 & 17 yo said never again. We cruise 2-3 times a year.
If you go on a cruise you are expecting food included! Good well seasoned and a variety of unusual food included! The really high end foods haute cuisine may carry an additional charge, but the meme around cruising is all the good things included in one price!
Thanks for what was a very honest review. We're thinking about taking our first cruise with them on this ship next year. It sounds like purchasing the addon packages up front makes sense.
Great review! We were on the last sailing of the Meraviglia in March 2020 right before the "shutdown". Agree with pretty much everything y'all said. We did try some of the Specialty Dining and it was outstanding and a must do the next time you try them (Steakhouse, Hibachi, Tapas). We also agree with the Yacht Club Upgrade idea. Much more bang for the buck! We both thought the Casino was a snooze fest compared to other casinos like on Carnival, etc.
OK, so MSC is off our list lol. And I had to rewind the "Tony & Lowery's" comment for the food. Then you hit us with the "Their voices couldn't carry Motown, but were good at Opera and other selections." Letmetellyou.... The wife & I understood it all! Appreciate the insight

You already pay for the fare, buffet has always been sub par, compared to other cruiselines. MSC pushes you to the specialty dinning, which is a hit or miss. You can only eat so much cheese and pizza.
It’s standard procedure for Stateroom Attendants to lock the mini bar the last night of your cruise. This is done because they can’t check it in the morning of disembarking in enough time for your room to be charged for items you might have consumed.
Excellent review and I agree completely. Our first cruise after Covid was on that ship where the food was lacking, entertainment sub par, and they put over $2500.00 in holds on my card that took about 22 days to clear. We definitely will stick with Royal Caribbean or even Carnival

Regarding the selling when you 1st get won the boat that to me sound very unattractive as well. However it makes me think of on carnival they might not be staying in a row when you 1st get on trying to sell you packages. but they do have somebody trying to sell you 1 of the drinks and they have booths through out the cruise ship and tables where they're trying to sell you spa packages maybe drink packages and other things so it's not as bad as what you're describing but I think other cruise ships do this. Just my thoughts. Love your videos.😀

I was on the 9/13/21 cruise and agree with everything that you said about this ship. There was under 700 guest, no crowds anywhere. I did not enjoy the food because of the repetitiveness of the menu. Did not enjoy the pizza. Loved the island. I had visited the island last year, I could watch the light show from my balcony. I had sailed with MSC before, this cruise was my least favorite. Beautiful ship, it was just refurbished.

We just got back from a cruise on the divina and it was awesome, and the food was delicious. We did get the premium drink package and should have got the easy plus.
Great video. Now I'm from Detroit, Michigan so I'm judging the bosses son😎 trying to sing Motown. You are right all cruise lines should stop singing Motown music and they need to stop with the afro wigs, it is offensive.
I don’t think I’ll sail with MSC. All of these cruise lines go to the same destinations. I’d rather spend my money with a line a bit more catered to my personality and lifestyle. But great review. It’s nice to have many experiences to pull from when deciding on a favorite line.

The sell of stuff is super annoying at best... we are boarding Mariveglia on Nov 20th. Not sure what to expect... with Europeans allowed to come to vacation again. Maybe a few more people??? Either way we are looking forward to cruising again.

I am the msc merav as I type. First day, first few hours. I am a foodie and gotta I wasn’t looking forward to sailing with msc after reading these reviews. The food tonight (buffet was fantastic’), seafood paella, pizzas cooked perfect, great salads. The ship is beautiful! We have been on 20 ships never msc. This ships designer made it stunning! Lots to do and see… we are currently at the rock show will comment on that when over…. Rock and roll show 7/10. Compare this with Caribbean or Mexican resort shows and this is a 10

Your experience sounds nothing like my experience on Meraviglia but then again I went pre-pandemic. I found the experience to be refreshing because it wasn't like every other cookie cutter ship from Carnival, NCL etc as far as entertainment. I loved the shows and the fact that yes they incorporated opera and other aspects. Will agree the food didn't change as much from day to day but it was on par with other cruise lines in this day and age. Cruise ship food quality has declined so much over the last couple of decades. The LED dome show being short must be because of the pandemic. When I was on it was easily 30 minutes and then ran straight into a full on DJ party that was so packed you could hardly walk thru the mall area top or bottom that went on for at least an hour. The ship is absolutely beautiful. I also had booked last minute before and was assigned a handicapped balcony room so my balcony was huge. I am booked on it again in January so am curious to see the difference now.
Great review and appreciate the transparency. Side note: didnt know you are travel agent 😊, but coming from someone who works with MSC as a client of mine, I do know that there is a learning curve there as they are entering and understanding the US market. I do think over time, things will improve

Same here. My party of eight and I just returned from Meraviglia and it was fantastic. We were ALL raving about the food. For the life of me, I can't understand the bad food reputation that MSC gets. I've done 3 cruises with them and have several more planned. Food is HIGHLY subjective however. Let me just say, I would hate to be the chef preparing menus for thousands of people with thousands of different food preferences.
I also had amazing time . The food in the dining area was good We did not have any bad experience with the food. It was great I was going in expecting the worse the worst Because I have seen so many bad reviews on the food I was really nervous But I must say the food was tasty it did have seasoning and it was great and I enjoyed it in the dining area. I have Carnival cruise line mostly and have done 70 cruises And I must sand I must say yes these are 2 different type of ships. But I did love MSC so I will be repeating And I love that they match your status from your other cruise lines We got free steakhouse dinner and it was amazing.
You both are fantastic. I am taking my 16 year old daughter on here first cruise next week on the same ship and cruise you took. Thank you for the insight and tips. Will make our trip much better.
Thanks for your review... Our family just got off the Meraviglia and we loved it! Yeah, the food is hit and miss but our kids (4 and 7) just love the kids club and BONUS, kids sail free on MSC! BTW, cost PPPD is the lowest of all our 14+ cruises AND it was a family aft balcony.
I have taken two MSC Cruises in the past few years and I am totally sold on MSC. My friend and I were kindly greeted when we were boarding the ships and these ships were absolutely over the top beautiful. The prices are amazing and I would always give them a positive review.

I loved MSC I cruised on the meraviglia and davina enjoyed both The pizza is good because they are an Italian cruise line.If you want a quiet relaxing cruise with quality food and a beautiful decor go with MSC It can be romantic and cozy. Plus they have good white parties thier private island.
I love MSC Seaside! We booked the Bella experience with the Easy drink package. I liked the food in the dining room. It was not RCCL or Princess quality but It was good. Also, the bread and pasta is made fresh and there is less salt in the food. We paid for the steak house and a wine tasting which was beyond fantastic. Loved the spa, did a treatment there and enjoyed the sauna’s and whirl pools.
Shows were very European so there’s that but the parties were out of the world fun.
Give MSC another shot with or without the YC. Plan to spent a little bit for one or two speciality dining restaurants and eat a few more meals in the MDR. It is a relaxing ship most days but the party goes late into the night 🥂.
I just got off from the Meraviglia (February 12, 2023). I found the main dining room food outstanding. I was on the NCL Breakaway and I found the food on the Meraviglia was much better. I was on the Meraviglia three years ago and yes, the food in the main dining room was monochrome but now it is a big winner.
Excellent tip about the Yacht Club which I didn't know.

Hello, we just went to the MSC Meraviglia 13:49 , and my family didn't like it. We had to pay for the umbrellas on the beach. Like you stated, the food was ok, and I had loyalty numbers, and they wouldn't look it up or it would not come up. Other ship's the food stayed out until 2:00am They even have food when you're watching a movie like a snack. I was really disappointed in this ship. And yes, the port when you're signing in. They do need to, and there wasn't a lot of workers to transport the people in wheelchairs from the port to the ship. The guys that handle the luggage messed up a couple of family members. Some of the staff members were nice. The drink package was a waste. And I rule it was cold the whole time we was on a trip. And the private island people were getting bit by jellyfish and the fish that were in the water. We might try another msc ship line, but not this one. Thanks for sharing.❤💙

We just got off the Meraviglia last night, and I agree with everything you said. LOL @ the curtains on the cruise ship! I hate to see those as well - they never need to come back!!! 🤣😂 Looks like they hire singers to do the Motown show because they had a lady doing it this time and I agree, it really wasn't good. LOL! We had the dining experience and I must say, it was fantastic. I definitely recommend getting the dining package 😄

Hi guys,We were on that ship during labor day weekend.It was 17 % full. This is not a party cruise but if your looking to relax this is the ship. Best part for us is when we were on the private Island and we found an empty cabana and we hung out there for free all day.No one saw us and we loved it lol. The food at the buffet was okay and the food at the main restaurant was okay as well.

I sailed on the Meraviglia in October 2021, and I agree with pretty much everything you guys said. Also it was a good choice that you guys skipped the specialty dining option, bc it was by far the worst specialty restaurants i've ever went to on any cruise line. That really disappointed me, bc i always look forward to the specialty dining restaurants when i cruise. The main dining room had better food tbh. The pizza on the ship was the best i've had on any cruise line though. But that's not enough to get me to come back. MSC is probably a one and done for me. I'm gonna stick with NCL and RCL.
Great review, very thorough. We sailed on the MSC Sesaside in 2019 and had a similar experience. We definitely ate more pizza than we normally do. The Seaside is a newer mega ship so the decor, and accommodations were beautiful. We were booked to sail on the MSC Grandiosa in 2020 but had to cancel due to Covid. Will definitely cruise on MSC again.

Oh boy. Greet me with a smile and welcome aboard. A complimentary drink. Direct me to food. 🤣. It’s ashamed because their ships are gorgeous. Ok. Larger balcony. Dated room. Locked the mini bar. 🤦♀️. I agree. If we do speciality dining, it’s for a bday, graduation, anniversary. Otherwise there are enough options to choose from to avoid speciality dining everyday. 🤔. Jay from Shiplife if I remember correctly said the same. A lot of Latin music instead of mixing it up. You would think there would be copious complimentary umbrellas. Limited food. At least the light show was fab. Off the topic, but I love the way your husband looks at you when you’re talking. 🥰. Yesss to the transparent review but your review is pretty similar to what so many other Vloggers has said. Maybe try the Seaside. It takes more than a beautiful ship. Thanks so much. MSC consistently gets down checked on the food. It's not like they're charging less, either -- pretty much comparable to Carnival or RCL. Especially these days, when so many cruises are marked down.
Hi, I believe I was on the same ship and time as you two. There were 670 people on the ship and we had total freedom with no big crowds. There were 2 additional dining areas that were free of charge and the only other comment would have been that the island stay could have been 1 day and Nassau 2 days. There really was not much to do on the Island, but I guess I live in Florida and see Beaches all the time. Anyway wish I had met you on the ship you guys seem like you would be fun. Thx

Thanks! So it appears the hardware (ship design, the LED dome, etc.) is great but the software (the food, the show, etc.) are inferior. This cruise line has a steep learning curve to cater the North American market!
You mean eat as much cheap food as you consume in a week. No dress sense and baseball caps.

My wife and I just sailed on the MSC Mariaglia in nov.2022 it was our first sailing on any ship.we flew into Orlando Airport then had to travel 50 miles to get to Port Canaveral we had a lot of other passengers loading at same time.the only problems we encountered loading was the fact my wife has a pain pump inserted under her skin every time we went thru x ray Machines she got patted down,even with her card stating she had pump.but altogether we had a great time ,they need to have a better food change up at buffet and the hidden cost got us good,they were not expected and we were on a budget.120.dollars in hidden fees,tips for unseen employees.but all together I enjoyed the trip and am planning another but also knowing a bit more this time
Was on MSC a few months ago, Seashore. Didn’t disagree with what you said, we didn’t dislike the cruise, just wasn’t in love. The food just brings the whole experience down. My husband and I would try MSC again, our 13, 15 & 17 yo said never again. We cruise 2-3 times a year.
If you go on a cruise you are expecting food included! Good well seasoned and a variety of unusual food included! The really high end foods haute cuisine may carry an additional charge, but the meme around cruising is all the good things included in one price!

Great review! We were on the last sailing of the Meraviglia in March 2020 right before the "shutdown".
Agree with pretty much everything y'all said. We did try some of the Specialty Dining and it was outstanding and a must do the next time you try them (Steakhouse, Hibachi, Tapas). We also agree with the Yacht Club Upgrade idea. Much more bang for the buck!
We both thought the Casino was a snooze fest compared to other casinos like on Carnival, etc.
OK, so MSC is off our list lol. And I had to rewind the "Tony & Lowery's" comment for the food. Then you hit us with the "Their voices couldn't carry Motown, but were good at Opera and other selections."

You already pay for the fare, buffet has always been sub par, compared to other cruiselines. MSC pushes you to the specialty dinning, which is a hit or miss. You can only eat so much cheese and pizza.
It’s standard procedure for Stateroom Attendants to lock the mini bar the last night of your cruise. This is done because they can’t check it in the morning of disembarking in enough time for your room to be charged for items you might have consumed.
We are going on our first cruise ever this week and its the Meraviglia....I find most stage shows like this to be cheesy, so I enjoy the cheese!
Excellent review and I agree completely. Our first cruise after Covid was on that ship where the food was lacking, entertainment sub par, and they put over $2500.00 in holds on my card that took about 22 days to clear. We definitely will stick with Royal Caribbean or even Carnival

Thank you for your transparent review.I've found it very helpful. I was considering booking a cruise with MSC so this will help me to make my decision. Regarding the selling when you 1st get won the boat that to me sound very unattractive as well. However it makes me think of on carnival they might not be staying in a row when you 1st get on trying to sell you packages. but they do have somebody trying to sell you 1 of the drinks and they have booths through out the cruise ship and tables where they're trying to sell you spa packages maybe drink packages and other things so it's not as bad as what you're describing but I think other cruise ships do this. Just my thoughts. Love your videos.😀

I was on the 9/13/21 cruise and agree with everything that you said about this ship. There was under 700 guest, no crowds anywhere. I did not enjoy the food because of the repetitiveness of the menu. Did not enjoy the pizza. Loved the island.
I had visited the island last year, I could watch the light show from my balcony.
I had sailed with MSC before, this cruise was my least favorite. Beautiful ship, it was just refurbished.

I have traveled MSC twice, once in Yacht Club and once I a regular room. The only way to do MSC is in the Yacht Club, it was fantastic.

We just got back from a cruise on the divina and it was awesome, and the food was delicious. We did get the premium drink package and should have got the easy plus.

I don’t think I’ll sail with MSC. All of these cruise lines go to the same destinations. I’d rather spend my money with a line a bit more catered to my personality and lifestyle. But great review. It’s nice to have many experiences to pull from when deciding on a favorite line.

The sell of stuff is super annoying at best... we are boarding Mariveglia on Nov 20th. Not sure what to expect... with Europeans allowed to come to vacation again. Maybe a few more people??? Either way we are looking forward to cruising again.
