It's always nice to see that there are H2 bus concepts. But the time of hydrogen in buses is over. This is evident from virtually all orders in Europe and also in the rail and lorry sectors. I don't know why the conceptual and efficiency-related disadvantages of a hydrogen bus should be accepted. In the end, bus companies have to work economically. Even if I like the NESA concept, it would certainly be better as an electric bus. Oh yes, thanks for the tour and your personal opinion on the models. Entertaining and technically compact. This makes the virtual tour of Innotrans really fun.
Hi. I really love this chanel. Im from Hungary. Some interesting thing from hungarian buses: - Ikarus: this two buses, and from now on all types made from chine CRRC. The big old Ikarus factory is gone :( if i know well, the CRRC buy the factory 51%, and the Ikarus brand. The 12m long version is called V4 version. The V1 is full made in china, the V2, V3, V3+ is made in Hungary, Székesfehérvár city. Plus full made in Hungary the self-propelled chassis two version, 9m and 12m. All hungarian models use crrc electric system. - BYD: they have a factory in Hungary, Komárom. They made B12, B13, B18 types, and maybe they can build the New battery platform 12m long bus also. I think, the exhibited 18m long bus is made from my country :) - Old Ikarus: two tramsportation companyes have got some of them. The National Volánbusz, and the capital city BKV company. They have got: Ik211, Ik260, Ik263, Ik280, Ik283, Ik412, Ik415, Ik435, and Ik556, Ik556 double decker, Ik180 buses. Sorry for my english, i know thats not perfect. (Your New hair style is great :) )
Electric busses are so much better than diesel ones in my opinion, they are less noisy and more comfortable. I'm glad more manufacturers are making them. Now we have to wait for Finland to replace all their old diesel busses with electric ones.
In addition, electric buses are more reliable, more durable and have less wear and tear... on the other hand, there is more tyre wear, so we will soon be having another discussion about particulate matter, where cities have preferred to dismantle their TRAM systems.
Noise-wise yes, but for me I often get really dizzy and sometimes "car-sick" due to the fast acceleration. Also, some non-electric buses have great sound which I miss in electric buses
I hope it can stay and not be deleted. Hungary have got another bus factory, the biggest in the country, name CREDOBUS. They made Diesel buses (called Econell 12 Next, Econell 18 Next), and tested now the New electric Electronell 12 type. This year will be coming the articulated Electronell 18m. Maybe interesting that information, they build all buses whit 19,5” size wheels. The articulated bus too.
Hi, In my city we have Neso Bus in regular fleet. It's very comfort and queiet bus. And yes the white seat are only in demo verion, regular ones has normal seats. Also Neso means Nie emituję spalin oczyszczam (ang Does not emit exhaust fumes I clean).
BYD is currently delivering a lot of new busses for Copenhagen and the greater Copenhagen area, most of these will be put into service in start December, so they are slowly but surely getting more orders after lowering there prices.
I can at least say for BYD, theyve scrored lots of orders in Denmark with recently with both GoCollective and Umove, 2 of the biggest bus operators here, and both have won lots of tenders recently. Ever since they lowered their prices, business has been booming for BYD. Though none of the buses theyre delivering right now to Denmark are of the newer B12 blade battery type though. And yeah Ebusco has been very troublesome. Ive now become eployed at a bus operator in denmark and its frankly a bit shameful that weve been buying almost exclusicely Ebusco buses since getting electric buses. If they havent been delayed, theyve been massively unreliable. Anything would be better than Ebusco, but theyve even been buying hand me down ebuscos from other places. They recently got a 2 year old 2.2 from Berlin.
About that self driving mercedes citaro, i'm a driver for the company who is currently experimenting with that bus, currently they are looking to make most of the busses drive to the cleaning stations by the selfs at the main yard of qbuzz in groningen, in the future it might get expanded but right now its all in the testing and experimenting fase
Maybe big railway companies are stealing too much of the limelight, so big bus companies are not interested anymore. If important European producers like Solaris, MAN, Mercedes, Volvo, van Hool or Hess are missing, it almost seems like the Innotrans should showcase rail vehicles exclusively. There's not enough incentive for bus operators to attend and compare, if only niche producers are present. Have your own fair for buses, and maybe include self driving road vehicles, to make it more future oriented!
Thank you for showing the buses and also some of the trains on this channel! 👍
You welcome

I'd prefer a hybrid electric with smaller batteries, the large batteries are very scary if they catch fire, assuming they are lithium.
@@gro_skunk Catching fire is an even bigger risk with hybrids as theres diesel and batteries instead of just diesel or just batteries
@@lakapuka diesel fire extremely easy to put out compared to a lithium battery fire

BC12A04 - the BYD chassis form bodied with Guangtong bodywork is now in SG, with a substantial number of vehicles awarded by the Singapore operator.
I'm pretty sure it's still called b12a03 cause it's the same chassis just diff bodywork
Nice
@@edddddddy1244 I've confirmed that it is the BC12A04 - the C is chassis form.

Probably bus industry is gathering at Busworld Brussels and that's it. When is the next edition, 2025 ?
Correct! That’s going to be a great event!

If you want to buy an old Ikarus 260.model, you must come to Athens Greece. We still have some in a yard of ETHEL-O.SY.(the bus operator in Athens)
