Final Fantasy Series Theme, solo church organ, during service

- Me playing FF Series Theme (specifically FFIV prologue version) during church service at my old church.
I played it during the time when the church collected money from all the old people (called it the voluntary... something like that?), sort of how Square Enix collects money from all the young people. Oh, the irony. And damnit, there's no page turn!!!!!!!!
That bass note he hit at 1:03 with his pinky was off the charts
Sounded a little woody to me.
@@haywoodjablome440 Guys are killing me
Yes, the tension in the air was pulp-able
Ahahahaha
You can say it was “off-key”
Of 100 nobles, 99 were impressed. Boss was quite impressed.
That Final Fantasy IX reference. LOL. I was quite impressed with the music. I can imagine a lot of Final Fantasy fans would go to church to hear their favourite Final Fantasy tracks being played. I know I would.
Lmao
FF IX REFRENCE 😂😂😂
This would make good a wedding march.
It does. I'm planning on this being my wedding march, too.~
Stephen Gilberg holy shit you called it
Agree
Yeah it would
FlutterGuy98 My man did you record it?
you've earned my respect by playing one winged angel in the aboslute opposite place it should be played at, but this? im so glad theres people like you out there, somewhere. big ups bruv
I love how the church keeps letting you play the songs.
Good job with the song... and stuff.
I think Jesus just levelled up!!!
PedroSanchez666 Kefka!
Hahahahaha
Forreal!! Lololol
Dang, what's with all the people saying you're going to hell?? I'd say a good piece of music is as much a tribute to God as anything else that's beautiful.
I love the way you think. Ultimately, the artist's heart is what matters. In all that you do, do it to the glory of God.
Offertory is the perfect time where you're supposed to play music. I'm glad this fellow carved out the opportunity to play his music for an audience. Delightful.
Ain’t no god, homie
@ECKuhl See, the thing is......there is no god. And this song he played is not a tribute to any such fictional being. This song was written by an atheist in Japan during the 1990s. If you want to recognize beauty in music....then admit the beauty came from the mind and emotion of an atheist.
@@laertesindeed wtf does the fact it came from an atheist have to do with anything? can someone who believes in God not enjoy music that are made by people who don't and vice versa? Atheists always go on about the elitism of people of faith.. but here you are on your high horse lecturing everyone. No one asked, you aren't all smart for pointing things like that out.
Wow. I wish the church in my town had something like this. I might actually go if it did. And I'm not even religious. This is fantastic!
Same!
Welcome to the church of Final Fantasy. Pray to Lord Kefka, commend yourself to Saint Sephiroth, and be brave, Warriors of Light.
warriors of light, defenders of the jenova's witnesses
Final Fantasy's musics always match with church things
except one winged angel xd
Reborn Gamers especially One-Winged Angel

Maybe not Jecht theme
This is exactly what I want playing at my wedding when my wife walks down the aisle... (if i were going to do it in a church
I agree, but I don't care if it's at a church.~
Waiting to hear an "amen" at the end.
lol XD
Have you heard the good news about our lord and savior Uematsu?
Hearing this was like a phoenix down to my soul
Church collects 300 zeny.
ooo.. so close.. But this isn't Megaman
Or Breath of Fire.
Zak Bagans or DBZ
or Dragonball in general
How do they keep letting you near the organ?
walterqxy Sneaks up to priest... "I'll give you a handy j if you let me play."
In one of his videos he explained that his old piano teacher from the church let him play on the organ because everyone was asking "where's the piano boy" and the rest is history
Replying to a 9 year old comment, but I think this is believably regal and holy sounding enough for church. If I was in there I’d be pissing myself, but yeah.
@@Jumpboots_Jamstrang have you seen his Sephiroth cover LMAO. Its sounds demonic even
I will forever regret the day I was married and did not have this song played in lieu of the wedding march. My wife would have never known this was an FF song. Speaking of which, why the fuck did I marry her if she can't identify this song?
Did you use sheet music for this? My fiancee and I really want to use this for our wedding, but I'm having a hard time finding music for an organ ;o;
pastor is inspecting your skills. it's acceptable to God.
absolute chills watching this. it fits so well.
I can’t hear this song without hearing the whole “you did well to deliver the ring to noctis” speech
MATT- Fighter
MARK- Black Belt
LUKE- White Mage
JOHN- Red Mage

Welp, now I gotta get divorced so I can have this as my new wedding march
00:58 "That's a great song."
Raging Jones tis
This is such a huge contrast from some of your other vids where you basically summon demons with “Dancing Mad” And “One-Winged Ángel” lmaoooo
Beautiful...just beautiful
He played a Final Fantasy piece on a church organ. What's wrong with that?
A lot, according to some religious people. I don’t think so, though. I kind of understand some people being upset with One Winged Angel being played in church because it doesn’t fit a church service, but this piece is beautiful. If I never heard it before and you told me it was a hymn, I would probably believe you. But honestly, any song that brings you joy shouldn’t be “wrong” to play on a church organ. I don’t think God would send you hell for playing something that’s not a hymn on a church organ... all hymns were made by people, just like this Final Fantasy song and One Winged Angel. Most hymns were created a long time ago specifically to worship God, yeah. But I don’t see anything wrong with this. I’d say I’m more spiritual than religious, but music is a core part of my spiritual self and soul. Many religions use newer hymns and songs that aren’t even hymns in services, too. I know African churches use songs that were created in the past 200 years rather than earlier, those mega churches use religious country and pop songs, some Catholic churches use religious pop and country adjacent music, and the Unitarian Universalist church I attend uses hymns created in the 20th and 21st centuries in services, as well as non-hymns that fit the themes of a service.
Tl;dr? There’s nothing wrong with that. All music is meant to be played and enjoyed by all.
@@caseys2698 Hell, a large number of hymns are just religious poetry set to non-religious music. In the Renaissance times, they'd set church texts to music based on folk tunes etc. It's not new to take secular tunes and reuse them for religious purposes.
Also well played! Way to keep playing after a wrong note too! Not always the easiest thing to do
This was wonderful! Me and my fiance would love to use this as our wedding march! Any idea how I could get sheet music of the part you played to our organist?
Kristian Sagosen 5 Months later, an answer (kinda) comes in. I do believe the creator of this video and channel got hacked or died. He hasn't posted anything in 3 years
Did you find it???
@@bread6539 yep! We're divorced now though, but the wedding awesome. 😆
@@ksagosen I'm honestly shocked you replied!
I'm sorry to hear about the divorce though, I hope you're doing alright!! And I'm glad you were able to find the sheet music too!

i mean i'd praise the lord to that
i feel like this is perfect for church. all i can picture is the “start” screen for FF 1 after garland is defeated
Amazing, please do more!
Hearing this would almost make going to church worth it. Almost
Who are the people who come up to watch in the videos? I can see them either going "daym this is good" or "This isn't regulation, but daym is it good"
Bro. Wtf. You got me fucked up.
I want this at my wedding sooooo bad!!!
Hold up, let him cook.
Theres always someone watching him from behind, hahahahahahaWhere´s you church?
IV's arrangements are always so pretty, and they're even prettier on organ!
If we Pagans use some pop culture in our practices, I'm 100% sure Christians can do so as well.
+A Shadowed Heart Productions I'm a Christian and I fully support this idea! Even the Contemporary Churches do this ;)
@@HisDudeness1986 Listen to any rock band like Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin and you will find many religious or christian undertones in these bands.
Do you think everyone would stand up, even if they have never heard this before?
You have no idea, how I would be behave if I heard this being played during my church service.
Awesome!!!
dude, you’re an incredible organist. all props to you
My mom asked me if I was watching a wedding. I told her she wouldn't get it
lol
FUCKIN EPIC!!
This is wonderfully played!
Hahahah man I burst out laughing watching this. The nostalgia... fuck! And you're playing it in CHURCH! hahaha

You should play "I'm Going To Hell In a Hand Basket"
The original text of Romans directly translated un-bastardized say the following early on
"We are now freed from that law [the law of the old testament], for like Jesus we are dead to that which bound us. We no longer serve in the way of written morals, but in the way of our own spirits"
As a Christian you have been told that everyone should do as they feel is right, not what a text tells them is right.
By the very basis of your own religion, you are wrong to condemn this wonderful organist :)
Ok weeb
I'm just wondering if you've ever read the bible. I've studied three years in theology, and you don't seem to understand your own religion. Satan as a symbol of evil is nowhere to be found in the new testament, so I'm assuming you are merely quoting what you been told is in the bible.
I recommend you go read the books of Luke, John, Mark, and Romans. You could really do with learning exactly what Jesus said, and his intended meaning, with the context he said it in.
Know what you're talking about
