- Me playing One-Winged Angel (FF7, as if you didn't know already) on the organ at my old chruch, DURING SERVICE. For those of you who watched me do Dancing Mad with all the screwups, this time I fackin nailed it. Nailed it.

The organ really highlights just how unsettling this theme is. All the dissonances and eerie chords are on full display here. It’s an incredible song that really makes you feel that Sephiroth is as evil as they say he is.

@alphakowaclips I just replayed the original last month. You're missing the point. In the original he wasn't seen or interacted with that much, you learn about him as you go through- like learning that the Midgard zolom got impaled by that big ass pike, and learned that was Sephiroth's doing- it gives you a scope of his power without him having to wave his cock around like he does in the remake- and that's why I think he's resible in the remake.
In the original he didn't have to say anything to make him a known threat. In the remake it's like "I GET IT. SHUT THE FUCK UP."

Actually, when I talked with the Pastor at my Church, we were talking about hobbies or something(can’t really remember how it was brought up) but I told him I play video games. He told me FF7 is his favorite game of all time and we actually had a pretty solid conversation about the game. If this happened at my Church I don’t think the result would be much of a bad one.

A Weirdo On the Internet not as much as you might think. It is a skill that all musicians should develop (and is a requirement in some of the exam grades) and a lot of solo musicians have to remember the sheet music before they do a concert performance. If you play it enough times it becomes stuck in your muscle memory so you can play it without thinking, besides, with the fast music it is actually easier to play it accurately and with emotion if you are not reading the score.
Take a look on youtube for people like Valentina Lisita when she does insane pieces by Liszt (my favourite is her solo Totentanz), or Beethoven’s sonata 3rd movement.
