I remember these ads when I was kid for Braums. They used to have the Ernest posters in the stores...
We don’t have that restaurant in my hometown we got five guys they got good burgers and fries and Ernest honey that’s Vern’s burger

Do they still make this type of sandwich ?
I looked it up. Braum's (a chain I hadn't even heard of before, as I live in Minnesota) posted on Twitter than the steak sandwich is gone with "no plan to change that" as of 2016.
You could probably come up with a good one yourself, but personally I feel like it'd be a waste of a good steak.
It's a Midwest Chain. There are a few around me but not as many as when they came out with this sandwich.
If you want to try this sandwich equivalent find yourself a chicken fried steak(frozen is ok, fresh is better) slap it on a big burger bun with your fixings you like, and enjoy. The sandwich is a solid B tier.
@@TigDegner chicken fried steak is usually made out of the really tough portions of steak meat so it is tenderized into cube steak for easier tearing between teeth. Bonus is when you flour and fry it the flour and seasonings get in good into the meat and make a really flaky crispy crunchy crust.
