    I’m back! SO happy to be sharing another tutorial with you today. I’m branching out from my typical acrylic pour videos to show you a couple fun new toys…a resin mixer and some domino molds!
    Resin is a really fun art medium to work with, but be sure you take the proper precautions so that you don’t have a reaction down the road! Proper PPE includes:
    -Respirator with cartridges to filter organic vapors
    -Non-vented goggles
    -Tyvek suit (to protect your skin from contact and vapors)
    -Nitrile gloves
    Want to try these domino molds, mica powders, or epoxy resin? Find them here! www.amazon.com/letsresin?maas... (Affiliate link)
    When working with resin, follow the directions on your particular product, as not all resins share the same mixing ratios and cure times. Always allow at least 2-3 weeks before moving your cured piece into a living space, as resin can continue to offgas harmful chemicals long past the initial hardening cure.

      Yes it has some, but not nearly as many as you’d get by stirring it by hand!

      @@AnnaBlountArt awesome and thanks for sharing
      I have noticed that some mixers have open blades and some are full....
      I don't know if you have used both and do you know if one is superior over the other mixer blade?
      Thank you

    How about this mixer can it be used for screen printing inks?

    • @AnnaBlountArt
      @AnnaBlountArt  Рік тому +1

      I have never used those, but if the inks are relatively thin and flowy, I bet it could!

      @@AnnaBlountArt I think silk-screen paints are a little thicker. I don't think it would work for you, so maybe if you could grab the stick to put it on an electric drill.

    Does not generated bubbles?

      There will always be some bubbles in your resin cup, but this mixer DRAMATICALLY reduces the bubbles you get from mixing the resin!
