Hello from Canada🇨🇦 Also i have to say you’re the reason im a locomotive engineer for Canadian National and after 1 year now. Im still always happy when they call me for work. You’re a true inspiration. Thanks for the great videos
Mike i grew up with trains i see alot of trains csx and Union Pacific in my home town some time amtrack and down here we have northfork souther mike people like u inspire me to engineer for csx
I'm 36 years old and to this day every time I see a train I have to point it out to my wife like a big kid. She's not nearly as impressed as I am. lol.
Hey mike, as far as the throttle goes.. can you set it to any power settings you want? For example like anywhere from 0-10 or is it more like a ship where you have idle than 1/4 power 1/2 3/4 Than full power. Like pre set power settings? Hope that makes sense
Go watch djstrains videos first. He recommends you wait until you’re in your mid-twenties first, because you will have zero social life working for a railroad. It’ll be at least ten to fifteen years before you get enough tenure to request your own schedule; you’ll be on-call 24/7 prior to that.
God keep you safe while you do your duty! Those that know your chores pray you are kept in angels arms. Please! Don't ever blame yourself for the actions of others. We support you and your crew and all others that man the mighty locomotives.

Hi!
Hi West Virginia !
Have you ever been in a train crash before
Nope
Nope but I've seen several over the years
@@locomotiveengineermikebarn8042 how bad were they
@@masteroftherails5317 Several were in the multimillion $ range involving valuable freight and causing shut downs to traffic flow .
Looks foggy out there!
Looks like a light coating of wet snow.
Just thick overcast and drizzle.
