It's your fault my setup is the way it is now Cyrus....... and I don't regret. One of my fav drummers that kicked off the little career in music i have.
Thank you for getting me through Covid..I've watched you guys I've 31 times...and I'm 31 years old. Please don't ever quit being rad and keeping Pop Punk alive
Since I was a kid, you've always been an inspiration to me. The very first song I learned on drums was Hit or Miss haha. Thanks for being an amazing influence all of these years! 😊
Man I was just talking to my girl yesterday. I would do anything to go back to the days of when sticks and stones came out life was great then what a year and what a time. Nfg for life. Thanks for the videos bro
I also play drums for about 27 years but I'm absolutely impressed with you Cyrus!! So much energy for the entire set 😮 day after day! My favourite drummer....and your snare sound OMG ❤
Thank you for posting this Cyrus! I was there!!! Right in front actually. I can see my self around 7:25 wearing the white shirt dead center. This was an awesome show you guys put on that night! Definitely will never forget!
Rocking out to some NFG on my birthday I wouldn't have it any other way 🤘 your music means the world to me 🤘 I'm so stoked for the Chesterfield Missouri show 🤘
Cyrus can we get a video on what you're doing to that snare to get that sound, I mean lets talk details cause, well come on we're all here for that snare sound.
Thanks so much for another full show! I enjoy these so much and I really can't wait for the next livestream!! I only wish you guys had a EU distribution company as shipping costs are very tough for lots of people. :( I'd love to own so much more of your merch but sadly I'm not rich.....yet! haha
Cyrus hope all is well dude. Everyone should check out the video I posted of NFG at this same exact venue during their first major label tour back in 2000.
@@CyrusBolooki yeah the setero image is reversed as if you are standing on the opporsite side of the drumset. So the 12" tom is in the right speaker and floor toms are in the left :D
@@Leotardoification I’m thinking it’s because for this video I was lucky enough to have not only the IEM mix that I was listening to when I was playing, but also a recording from a stereo mic setup at the soundboard in the back of the crowd. I should have reversed the soundboard recording and then I would have mixed the stereo image correctly, but I must have kept the stereo image from that mic so everything would have been reversed (audience perspective).
The whole time, I’m waiting for your arm to fall off. Get Troma to do the effects for a tour where you guys do (what’s feasible) during “Head on Collision.”
I mean, that would be amazing...just sayin'... But, that being said, Lars is a badass in his own right, and although he might not have the chops of some other drummers, he's actually had quite an influence on my drumming. His use of crashes while playing is something that I take from all the time. Lars is a master of using crashes not just on the downbeat of measures, but accenting snare hits and other hits in between beats with them. So, a tip of the cap to him and what Metallica have done (and are still doing). But, thank you very much for the compliments, and rest assured, it would be a dream come true to jam some Metallica songs with the guys themselves!
His footwork is insane. Those quick kick drum doubles are crazy.
For years I imagined how some of these songs are played. Now I know how.
Hands down one of my all time favourite punk drummers. An absolute joy to watch man! And you still play with so much energy!! Awesome.
Thank you for the kind words
This
Saw these guys 3 times... always awesome
@@CyrusBolooki u are amazin
You really are one of the most consistently great drummers in punk.
Thanks for the compliments!
best drummer for me
Thank you.
It's your fault my setup is the way it is now Cyrus....... and I don't regret. One of my fav drummers that kicked off the little career in music i have.
I'll take that as a compliment? Hahaha
Its very much so a compliment. You created a monster and I'm enjoying every second of it. It's more of a thank you
Thank you for getting me through Covid..I've watched you guys I've 31 times...and I'm 31 years old. Please don't ever quit being rad and keeping Pop Punk alive
I can't stop admiring this guy even after 20 plus fucking years of listening and watching.
I can’t wait for you guys to go back on tour when Covid has passed. How you have this much energy in every show for 20+ years blows me away Cyrus.
Since I was a kid, you've always been an inspiration to me. The very first song I learned on drums was Hit or Miss haha. Thanks for being an amazing influence all of these years! 😊
The way you play show me how much love and joy you give in drumming and pop punk!! Keep rockn Cyrussss 🔥🔥🔥

That was so tight. Drums sound huge especially along with the bass. Pure class.

One of my favorite drummers as well, can't believe it took me so long to find this. Thank you!
That poor little splash cymbal took a beating 😁👊. Great as always Cyrus!
This is such a sick upload. I would have easily paid money for this. Amazing stuff.
Please continue doing this Cyrus
Will do.
@@CyrusBolooki i hope so. I enjoy watching you playing a lot ;)

You're fucking amazing man!

The story so far
Question - Out of all the songs which is the hardest to play?
nice.
Any tips for dealing with hand blisters on long tours? Just tape those things up or have some road tested secrets?
One of my all time favorite drummers!
They should have switched the stereo on this video though.
That's my fault! Do you mean that it should have been mixed with the left and right sides swapped?

@@CyrusBolooki Sound about right :) It's not really that distracting or noticeable at all though. And probably only drummers will notice.
Who is the additional guitar player? Ryan from Yellowcard?
I didn’t know there was an outside area??
The whole time, I’m waiting for your arm to fall off. Get Troma to do the effects for a tour where you guys do (what’s feasible) during “Head on Collision.”
Funny thing is that I actually still have that arm in storage somewhere hahaha
Damn you guys came out like a goddamn baseball bat to the face in this one.

I'd rather play with you instead of Travis and that says a lot about me @cyrus!
Cyrus > Travis
A bit of a stretch, as Travis is an amazing drummer and on his own level in my book, but definitely appreciate the compliments!
